Terrible Experience at Quest Diagnostics in Weston, FloridaI had an extremely disappointing experience at the Quest Diagnostics laboratory in Weston, Florida. I would advise against visiting this location if you have other options available. On my first visit, I had a scheduled appointment, but the self-service kiosk couldn't find my booking, placing me on a waiting list for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. I ended up leaving because there was no staff member available to assist with the check-in process or to address any issues or queries from customers.During my second visit, with an appointment again, I faced the same issue. The machine couldn't locate my appointment even though I had the QR code sent via text message. After much difficulty, I managed to speak to an employee who was calling patients. She advised me to stay in the waiting lint, and wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes, despite showing her the email confirming my appointment time and the received QR code. When I was finally called after 1 hour and 30 minutes, the staff member was extremely rude. The blood draw left bruises on both of my arms. The level of service, quality, and staff professionalism were all severely lacking. As a foreigner accustomed to higher standards of healthcare service, I am now in search of a laboratory that values service quality, customer experience, and professional treatment.

one star only because you can't give zero I am quiet, polite, and i don't mind having to wait sometimes HOWEVER, after my name disappeared from the "next appt" board and i still continued to sit waiting for over 20 min, i got concerned that they had lost my appt -several people that were scheduled after me were taken while i still sat I started to ask each phlebotomist as they came to the door if they could check for me and they just told me to sit down, and then one started yelling at me and threatened to call the police ?! There is no one there to help patients with questions and the staff are rude and disgusting Literally i never raised my voice and was just trying to get ANYONE to verify that i would in fact be taken as scheduled That evidently deserved me being yelled at and threatened

We are getting to the end of the year and I don’t want the new year to come before I write about Norma and my experience at Quest, since I was a kid I’ve been afraid of needles and letting someone draw my blood was a mission and dramatizing for me. I am so grateful for Norma and her passion to work with patients and also her patience with me since day one, she is the only person I let draw my blood, she says im less afraid now than the first time I meet her, to me she is sent from God and has magical hands. Thank you Norma for your time, patience and great customer service you give me and the rest of the patients that you see daily. God bless you.Love,Veronica Minguez

Quest Diagnostics in 2711 Executive Park Dr Ste 2 & 3, Weston. The staff is consistently rude, and there is no customer service, especially since this is an unattended facility. The worst part is patients don’t have another option for another service provider since contractually Quest is the sole provider of blood work testing provider depending on what insurance patients have. This means that patients are stuck with this mediocre and rude service from Quest without having the ability to seek an alternative provider.Staff needs to be properly trained in customer service, and the unattended location should be staffed with someone who can provide assistance to patients.

Trying to do it on the cheap by having a kiosk instead of a human receptionist. Not all situations can be resolved with a kiosk. I came in to simply drop off a sample. Told a representative that went to the kiosk and assigned me a number to wait. Another patient came in with a sample and they let him in, when I told them I was here for the same thing they said they would be right with me and then never came back. Had to wait like it was a regular visit. Glad I never have to go there again. Will try Labcorp, maybe they won't waste my time.

The one star is for the appointment check-in at their walk-up station that was a cinch! This place is always full! It had been some time since I made an appointment here and I didn’t recognize one team member from previous visits.I had my appointment which I made about two weeks before through the app. When I arrived about ten minutes early, there were a lot of walk-ins in addition to the scheduled patients. So, there were no available seats and I had to stand outside. When I was called in, I saw and heard (everyone in the waiting room was appalled!) a Hispanic phlebotomist come to the door to call on the next patient and when an elderly Spanish-speaking couple approached her for help, she was cutting and rude. At one point, she told the gentleman, “Stop yelling at me!” She knows better. He was nervous, hungry and upset that they had been waiting for over an hour and fasting (as so many of us were) but they kept bumping them over and again. He didn’t yell at her, by the way. He was just trying to get an answer about a form he was holding and needed someone to guide him.As far as what happened to me, I am writing corporate, but feel free to look at my photos. The phlebotomist that took me in originally, couldn’t find a vein. She kept moving the needle in and out—all around—and I was in excruciating pain! When I asked if she could try another one and use the butterfly as my doctor requested in my order, she said that it wasn’t their “protocol!”She then called the “trainer” (she identified herself that way) who tried again in another arm and it was unproductive! Long story, short—she was going to have a third phlebotomist have a try at my hands as soon as she returned and “clocked” in by phone in the room we were in. The “trainer” in her frustration, kept tightening the elastic bands more and more till I thought I would pass out! When she failed and I refused yet another one to puncture me, she gave me back my prescription and said: “Sorry and have a great day!” I walked out hurting, with a swollen arm, and not one of them was adapt at drawing my blood. Now I have to make a new appointment at another lab and possibly go through this all over again.I will not only steer clear of this location in Weston, but I dissuade others from going there.

First you do not have anyone to instruct people how to check in for an exam drop off for instance. Then someone showed up after I had mistakenly checked in the wrong waiting list. The attendant was super rude to explain how to do it and when I was inside asking a few question she was also super rude. Why one choose this job if they are not willing to deal with the public in a nicely manner? We are simply hostage of this lab and their rude attendants. I hope the reviews can contribute for them to improve their services. Apparently the Google low stars are not bothering them at all. Very sad. :(Forgot to mention the fact they do not give you instructions on the exam preparation. I had to Google it. Last time I had blood test with them it was the same thing. I would expect them to text me or send me an email with exams preparation instructions.

Quest in general has to be one of the worst labs. I would give it a zero if I could! Appointments are useless be prepared to walk away after waiting 1.5 hrs or simply be ready for a long wait. This particular location- staff is rude and not helpful at all. While waiting I witnessed how some patients were treated and how an elderly woman missed her appointment because her check-in QR code wasn’t working. I can’t believe a place like this still exists… poor us, thinking this low level subpar service is normal.

It takes weeks before you can make an appointment and if 10 minutes late the machine avoid your appointment and put you in a walk in list, but if you arrive on time they still not taking you at your appointment time, so you have to wait for them even more than 30 minutes. But can't wait 10 minutes.

Veterans, know this place will frustrate you. I had an apt at 10:40 am via a VA 3rd party. They said they didn't have my information, so they couldn't help me. I called the 3rd party, and they confirmed that everything was sent over the prior week. Now I must return later for a reschedule while fasting and hope the apt shows on their end. If not, it's only a tablet, and you can't talk to anyone in person because they don't have anyone up front. Glad I took time off of work to waste my time.

Felt compelled to leave this review in light of all the negative comments - I was expecting a bad experience today when I went in for a scheduled blood draw. Yes, it was incredibly busy and I ended up waiting well past my scheduled time, but they were also very short-staffed and the phlebotomist who brought me back was so sweet and professional. She made me feel at ease, was very warm and friendly despite having what I can only assume was a hellish workday, and took care of my blood draw with no problems. You do need to make an appointment and understand that no Quest lab has front desk staff anymore, so make sure you come with an ID and your insurance card. Other than that, know that the staff is very professional and will take care of you at this location!

Worst place in the world to go to! Have been here already 20 mins to drop off a urine sample and still no one will wait on me. I do not recommend this location at all and would never come here again!
