This gym has bad machines and it’s so expensive. Half of the gym is only for the trainers that cost even more money. DO NOT COME TO THIS GYM. The only bathroom door does not close and it’s been broken for months.

I started coming to this Gym in May of 2022. Easy to get to, plenty of parking the machines are always clean and operational. I can always do my workout in one way or the other either through free weights or machines and they also have plenty of cardio machines. The staff has always been polite, pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly.

From the moment I stepped foot into this gym, I was immediately hit with a sense of disappointment and regret. The environment, far from being the professional fitness facility I anticipated, was a chaotic hotbed teeming with high school and college students who seem to prioritize socializing over fitness. Their inconsiderate noise and lack of respect for the space severely disrupted the overall experience, making it impossible to focus on my workouts. Furthermore, the machines on the premises left a lot to be desired. With their old and worn-out conditions, I was left questioning not only the quality of my workouts but also my safety while using these machines. Breakdowns were frequent, and the equipment showed clear signs of neglect. As for the management, they seemed more focused on exercising their rude behavior rather than promoting a positive atmosphere for gym-goers. Their brusque manners and blatant disregard for addressing our complaints only served to highlight their utter lack of professionalism. The bathroom situation was perhaps the most appalling. The cleanliness of this facility was abhorrent. High-use areas such as gym bathrooms require meticulous maintenance, and the sight of grime, filth, and overall uncleanliness in this gym's restroom was utterly repulsive. In conclusion, this gym failed to provide an environment conducive to a quality fitness experience. I have happily gone to another gym where these issues are a non-existent.

My wife and I have been going here for over 4 years. Facilities are clean and staff are super friendly and welcoming. We both utilize personal training and absolutely love going. There is a wide variety of equipment and other patrons are extremely courteous to one another. I have been a member at other gyms like LA fitness or different wellness centers which have issues with over crowding and weights in disarray or machines out of order but have never had those issues here. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to workout at all skill levels and walks of life.

USI has a great team of knowledgeable and friendly professionals who really do make you feel like part of a family. Training with them has not only helped put me in the best shape of my life, but build relationships with some really great people. The gym itself has everything you need to have a a creative and fun workout without running into issues of overcrowding and judgment!

USI is more than just a fitness facility. I have been a member for over 10 years. The owners and staff are very helpful and nice as well as the members. I workout at least 5 times a week and recurrently seeing the same smiling faces, this place has become my second home and family.

I'm not sure where the membership money goes. Most of the employees are high schoolers, so I'm assuming they aren't paid much. Certain equipment is missing vital pieces, like the display on one of the cycles. The worst part is the "locker rooms". The new location has been up for close to, if not, a year. When it was new I was lenient, but now there's no excuse. The men's has one urinal and one stall. The locker room is a few lockers and a couch(for sweaty people to sit on?). There's always extra stuff laying around in the lockeroom as if it's a makeshift storage room. The soap dispensers are always empty. The papertowel dispensers never work unless you manually crank them, otherwise you get shredded bits of paper. Same goes for toilet paper. The trash cans are always overflowing and the floor is littered with bits and pieces of paper towels or toilet paper due to the aforementioned dispensary system never working properly. And someone broke the wooden stall door months ago and it's only been slapped back together instead of properly fixing it.They're willing to spends hundreds of dollars on gimmicky pre workout and supplements to sell, but can't afford a working bathroom? I don't even need a fully functioning locker room, although it is a gym and as memory serves the former location had showers and all. But a bathroom is one of the most basic commodities for any business serving clients.I'm not sure how other gyms can charge as low as $15 a month and have larger and fully functioning bathrooms, when this gym, located in Weston of all places, charges $50 a month and everytime I use the bathroom it looks like a 7-eleven in Lauderdale Lakes. That's hilarious the owner's response is an insult instead of addressing the issue. How appropriate. I guess the owner would rather be funny than address the disgustingly kept facility.

A gym doesn't practice spinning, does not have aerobics classes, does not have a sauna, and only has old and damaged machines.

Old and damage machines . Worst administration! Very dangerous gym. Easy to get into an accident!

Female trainer is super aggressive and reprimanded me like a child instead of talking to me like a normal person/customer. I can count a handful of times she has taken weights of the racks of the machines I'm literally using lol and have never complained, but the one time I go to use a machine that looks unoccupied (because she's using 3 at the same time) it's a hysterical show. (Decided not to include her name)

Hands down, best choice I've made training at USI. I have tried a few different gyms in the area (some closer to work in Pines like LA Fitness and YMCA) over the last 15 years. I prefer USI for the people friendly environment, wide variety of workout options and energy of the gym.I tend to go the same time/routine and see the same people. Over time, I have some great conversations with both the staff and other clients.Fantastic range and variety of equipment for cardio, stretching and strength workouts.Appreciate the owners and their efforts to help us all give when we can. From collecting hurricane relief goods to Thanksgiving food drives and my favorite, a Fitness Challenge to honor first responders and in remembrance of Sept 11, 2001 attacks.Fantastic overall community!

1) Beware of fake reviews as well as Management actively complaining about 1-star reviews, hence creating bias.2) Was a member here and I promptly quit after being accosted by the owner for inadvertently spilling water.a) incident caught on camera and therefore 100% verifiable. As management you simply don't approach a customer like that.b) I was asked not to immediately quit and that I'd receive a call back following Monday. I never did and simply quit.c) the owner views the business as his house. It's cute and all, but not how the real world operates, which probably explains why after 15+ years these guys haven't gone anywhere.I've been a member of numerous gyms from Equinox to Midtown Athletic, but also LA Fitness and Bally's. I'd put this in the latter category but with fewer amenities (no shower, literally 1 toilet). Add to that a clearly toxic owner who thinks the world revolves around him because he's "ex-NFL" and I strongly recommend staying away.Much better options at lower price points.

I seldom post online reviews unless I really like something or hate something. In the case of Ultimate Sports, I love it! I have been a member here for almost 15 years and have never once had a single thing to complain about. I love the facilities, the staff and consider a lot of other members as my friends.I am reading some of the negative reviews here and I'm left scratching my head on whether we are talking about the same place. There was even one reviewer who compared the bathrooms to an African train station. Wait, what? It's a bloody bathroom and it's like every other bathroom I've been to in America. It's very clean, there are toilets and sinks and things.Which leads me to believe that some people are immature or unnecessarily nasty, hiding behind the anonymity of the internet to post nonsense. If you're on the fence about whether to join USI, do it. It's a great gym with great people. I joined 15 years ago when I was fat and ugly. Now I am just ugly
