August 2024 by Letting Loose
I have been going here for the past year. From the first time I went in to every day since every staff member has been professional, friendly and helpful. I do have one gripe and it follows up some other reviews. Yes sometimes the prices marked are not what you get charged HOWEVER I have never mentioned anything. I am sure if I were to say something the employees would be happy to make it right. I will say this is the ONLY gas station I trust with recommendations. I have bought several vapes from here and the main cashier (who is almost ALWAYS working) always points me to a flavor I'll like. I've bought some without his input and I'm always thoroughly disappointed. I'm not saying they sell bad products- I'm saying this guy literally knows what I'll like more than I do. If there is a new product with high reviews he always is happy to point me to it. The rest of the staff are great! I've never walked into someone being rude or dismissive to me. Unlike the other two non Cirlce K gas stations in town. This gas station has a wide variety of products- they have my favorite energy drink which is hard to find and they even have multiple flavors of it (Alani Nu), there are almost always Bajas in stock which I love. I have never bought a flat drink from them. I always walk in to a hello and leave with a goodbye. I just really wanted to take a moment to thank the staff here- your products and service has always been top tier for me and besides the occasional price discrepancies I have no complaints. On a sweet note I wore a dress for going on a date with my dad which was like a cocktail dress and the cashier was all , " I cannot look at you!" Which speaks miles for this man's respect for women. Thanks guys- keep shining :)

Publix wanted to charge me $8.58 for two 16oz Kombucha when I saw that they had a BOGO deal-def. Need to check your bill before paying because for two bags of green beans, garlic & 2 Kombucha-it was shy of $18 - robbery as stated, double charging for my Kombucha that was BOGO. I even had to run to the display shelf for the cashier and snapped a pic. To show proof even though this deal is also in their advertisement. I am giving 2/5 cause they let me return onions that had spoiled two days after purchasing it...

Malik at the customer service desk is the best. He helped me find my lost debit card and treated me with the upmost respect and kindness unlike the other manager whose rude demeanor took me off guard and is maybe more suited for a grocery chain that doesn't prioritize customers.

Large, clean, organized, with friendly service and decent sales. We shopped here a few times during our stay in Gainesville and found what we needed (except for liquor, which is next door; and they close early, FYI).

There is a reason, well, several reasons that I can point directly at to explain the rise of Publix to the very definition of what a supermarket should and could be here in the southeastern United States. First, Publix has amazing customer service. You are continuously greeted by the employees as you walk through the supermarket. They also will address any question or concern you might have. Customer service is just one thing that sets Publix apart. Another thing is their weekly BOGO (buy one, get on free) deals. Every week they have a slew of great deals. We also cannot forget their subs, affectionately known as pub subs. These are great subs. One of my main go to subs their Italian. I also like their roast beef and cheese. My daughter, who is not a huge sandwich fan, even likes their chicken tenders subs. My son, who does like sandwiches, likes their Italian sub, as well. Kind of weird to realize that some of the best subs come from a supermarket, but Publix definitely delivers. Oh, another thing that I am a fan of is the Publix diet iced tea, available over by the deli section. The deli is also pretty impressive. You can get cakes and whatnot, but I really like their bread and they also have pizza dough do that you can make your own homemade pizza. All in all, Publix is a great supermarket and it is my go to supermarket. If you have been to Publix, I am sure you will understand. If you are not familiar with Publix supermarket, try them once and you will be a fan. Publix has come a long way since they began here in Florida. They have expanded throughout the southeast and continue to grow. As I said, I do recommend Publix, definitely the best supermarket around.

The deli department refused to make a chicken sandwich even though they didn't have any already made and there was no reason given was just refuse to do it I didn't think that this would be a shopping is a pleasure to thing the lady when I asked the manager she came back and says no we're not gonna do it I said well can I have a foot-long and she said sure as it will be the same chicken did you do in the little ones and she said yes and I said no forget it if you can make a big one you can make a little one I'm gonna talk to the manager manager of course as usual was not there and talk to the system manager in the honestly care less what I have to say it's easiest way toThis is not the way you treat your customers especially after we supported him through the Covid pandemic they need to re-establish what you're gonna do and how do you say and how you gonna treat customers I will not because I did it grocery store again

I LOVE PUBLIX! We do not have them in Texas, so when I come home to visit I have to stop by here. I cannot even begin to describe the shopping pleasure of visiting a Publix. Those who are familiar with Publix - see what I did there? Anyhoo, I always grab a sub, all the flavors of their teas, a variety of baked goods, and Rogerwood sausage - a brand we do not have in Texas. Until my next visit home, I will try to stretch out my goodies as far as I can.

Bag boy was too busy flirting with cashier to do his job and did not place $12 worth of items in my cart. When I got home and found the error I called the customer service department, whoever answered the phone was very rude and immature. We pay a premium on groceries at Publix to have high quality service the food I purchase here is no better then anywhere else. And so it makes no sense for me or my family to do business with publix anymore. Everyone else should do the same boycott publix too expensive to have such poor customer service.

Just a guy trying to make a living. I can respect that. The man at the counter I see every day is really kind and it was overall a good experience all throughout. The store itself is low on cash and can't be improved which is sad because it has so much potential.

This is by far my favorite Publix in Gainesville. I feel this location has the most fresh produce and has the best customer service in town. When I am visiting this side of town I like to stop by this store because the staff is always friendly and the food is good. I love their selection of precooked meals. Publix is a great grocery store chain. This location does a wonderful job at making sure the aisles are fully stocked and the store looks its best. I always leave happy. I for sure recommend this Publix if you are in this side of town!N

My cousin don't eat meat and ordering a publix tuna sub. First time having to get a manager involved because John from the deli has poor customer service. No tuna available so he sends my cousin to pick up a can of tuna from inside the store. After my cousin picks it up another deli server Brandon tells John that he can't open the can for my cousin after being told to get one. After talking to the manager she said there was a full order that was received the day before but no tuna was available still. Not sure what's going on at this particular Gainesville publix supermarket I've visited for the first time. Maybe I should get corporate involved.

The easy to spot prices are the cash price. Credit/debit was 10 cents more and very hard to find.
The area by the pumps had a very bad gas smell like someone spilled and it hadn't been cleaned up properly.
