I sent in a prime Angus steer in to williston county meat. I got back a poor grade of meat that was half the yield of the steer that was sent in. They gave us chuck steak and labled them ribeys. They good portion of the steer was stolen. Don't go here! They are theives.

Very easy to work with and price is great. All meat is packaged in 2 steaks per pack, vacuum sealed, and labeled. Can ask for anything more than that!

Brought in an ~180 lb buck dressed and quartered for processing. Hams, shoulders, backstraps, tenderloins, and even huge chunks of neck meat. Got 33 lbs of meat back… no receipt, no information on weights. No labeling of my name on the packaging, was pulled from a freezer of other meat. Just did my own ~110 lb young doe and still got 27 lbs, no neck meat and ruined shoulder. Did another nice buck ~150 lbs, got 80 lbs of meat. Every deer is different and salvageable meat will vary per deer but that was a bigger than average Florida deer. I have witnesses to the size of the deer. A huge buck and no ruined meat. I got swindled out of a lot of deer meat to feed my family, rising beef prices and all. Have also heard a lot of negative rumors about the same problem in this town. She denied shorting us and refused to take care of the problem. Nothing was done to make up for this. Wish I had done my research on them. All I can do now is learn my lesson and warn others. Was a hard lesson to learn on my first trophy buck. Learn to process your own deer as good butchers are few and far between.

We were referred to by a friend, who was very thrilled about telling us about the guy he dealt with, once before. The guy that came out to my house, slaughtered our 2 pigs with the help of his grand children. Which I feel was very excellent at that fact, the grand children was enjoying, watching, learning and participating in helping. I like the fact that I seen young kids get out and actually work and take up a task that most kids their age, would not be interested in. They're very hard workers and that's what everyone needs to see in kids these days. As far as the smoked meats I received it was immaculate. Smoked just perfect, the meats were cut perfect, I got what I expected and what I sent in. Very nice place and I will definitely be going back to them. Very good job!!

WARNING: I sent a 300 lb pig for butcher, and I got 75 lbs of meat back. 8 lbs of those bacon with NO fat left at all. Never seen this lean bacon. This pig was 10 months old, fed on corn, pig food, high end horse feed, left overs, and alfalfa and oat hay. Think he was skinny? The stuff smoked, tastes awful. Almost overpowering. No salt was added to the bacon at all. Mostly though, it is quite obvious that I was stollen from. I have NEVER seen bacon 9 inches long from a pig that was as big as ours. It took three men, all well over 6 foot to load the carcass onto the back of a pick up truck. I am absolutely FURIOUS. I didn't get a receipt or even a break down on how much anything weighed. Just told what we owed. There are much better places, and this one is obviously extremely dishonest. Go elsewhere.
