Website said they were open. Phone number says "mailbox number I am trying to reach is not in service ". I've been a loyal customer for almost 10 years. Figured phone is out but website says they're open. Decided to drive there from Coral Springs. I really needed their bulk birdfood. When I got there, closed... can't see inside the store cause windows are covered with paper. To make matters worse, no notice on door giving update. The only thing that was there was that same sign from when they were in Wilton Manors with the company name and the same phone number ... THAT IS NOT IN SERVICE! Been weeks since they moved, no update being sent out to their email customers. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate on their part. I know others who have made the trip only to be greeted by a closed business. I ended up giving my $52 business to Chewy.com. I wish them the best but if things continue like this they're going to need a " going out of business " sign to put on their door. After almost 10 years of being a patron, I won't be back.

I left my babies (4 parakeets) there in December for about a week and the owner took great care of them. I loved walking in and seeing all the birds everywhere, obviously well taken care of and clearly their home. I just called the store to bring my babies in again and the phone said out of service. I will be highly disappointed if the store has closed!!

Nice place, very neat, they have all types of bird food, toys, cages, Healthy birds. If they see you’re serious about your business they’ll be more than happy to help you.

Wow I really don't know what to say but I've never experienced anything like this in my life. Wish I could give 0 stars. The second I walk in the store (I drove 35 minutes to get here) I was barked at by some lady "what can I do to help?" And when I said I'm just looking was greeted with rudeness. You know that feeling when you just don't feel welcome and like your intruding on their personal life? Yeah, that's the vibe here. Then, as I'm going to take a picture of a bird to send my husband to see if he liked him/her, I was told no pictures as I guess all customers are assumed scammers who use bird pictures on Craigslist to scam people. It was degrading and rude and the owner was argumentative and nonsensical. She thinks by not allowing pictures other people won't get scammed online and she's bringing herself good karma. If she thinks scammers can't find pictures of birds elsewhere and online she doesn't understand the Internet very well. There's no touching the birds even if you want to purchase them so this store feels like your mean aunts house where you can go in, say nothing, touch nothing, and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO PICTURES. The birds are all caged and not out to get out of cage time. Cages are clean and they do have toys so that's nice to see. Definitely shocked as I've been to a dozen bird stores and have never been treated with such disrespect and assumed guilt. Very awful experience. And before I left, I saw 2 large birds and a few small ones and some toys, not many options especially for larger birds so pictures online with hyacinth macaws and other large birds are no longer accurate, which is why I came. I'd give by business to anyone else. I'm looking for a Hyacinth macaw and Moluccan to add to my flock and I'm most definitely not buying from someone who won't allow pictures and assumed you are guilty. I didn't get that far since I felt so weird and after I was told no pictures she followed me around like I was going to steal something. Highly recommend you go anywhere else, it was a horrible experience all around.

I’ve been buying food and having my blue and gold macaw groomed at this store for 6 yrs. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’m glad Rick is back helping out with grooming.

It is the most friendly bird store. The owner Naomi and her kids are really helpful and assist you in whatever you need. They are awesome. Thank you guys being in Fort Lauderdale servicing all the bird owners.

My daughter's parakeet died last week, and I took her to this store Sunday, to look at a cockatiel when she's ready to move on. They were very helpful and took the time to show my daughter around. They really care for the birds here. We will be back here again.

I have been going here for years. Great hours and great grooming for my macaw. Today I stopped by for grooming. They told me to come back in two weeks between 10am and noon. This place has gone bad. They do not even care they lost a loyal customer. I was nothing but a wallet to the new owner. They just posted to customers about tequila tomorrow between 11:30 and noon tomorrow. Their priority is no longer birds.

Came by and very excited but totally disappointed to find out they were closed and it's 6:00pm on Saturday 4/13/19. As we were double checking the store hours a gentleman also came by and checked the door to also be disappointed as well. We chatted and he said it was his third time coming by and still closed!!!! I don't know how they are running this business but it's pretty $hitty that they are irresponsible! We drove from Margate to find out the owners are idiots! At least leave a sign on the door saying something! Sucks the owners drama is effecting customers and now I'll never come to that $hit hole looking store again! Good luck getting in this store! Travel here at your own risk!

I don't think the owner is too fond of black people. My daughter and I went into this store and the man walked away. He didn't say hello, nothing. There was a young lady who said she just started working there, she was very pleasant and answered some of my questions. I had a question that the young lady said the owner would know more about and when I asked him (when he finally acknowledged me), it was like pulling teeth, he seemed so bothered by us being there. We just ended up leaving.

Recently went in to buy corn scratch for my rooster, when I got home I noticed in had a bunch of medium size insects inside of it. Called the store to notify them of the problem, and ask what should I do since I've never bought a batch containing insects. The guy said it was totally fine to feed it to my rooster. So I took his advice my rooster took a couple of pecks and declined. So I'm out close to $9, and my bird has no food again smh. I was so excited to support something local too. First and last time buyer. Buyers please check your feed before you take home!!
