Food is overpriced but ok; drinks + bartenders good. Don't park here + go somewhere else...$100+ when towed (they have spotters).

Generally I enjoy a nice lunch and cocktails with my friends at alibis. I just left after having a very good blackened Mahi salad with Asian vinegarette.... I thought that I might want a little more salad dressing and then when I got the bill, I noticed that I was charged and addition of 50 cents for salad dressing. After paying $15 for a solid I would assume that in any classy establishment that it would be complimentary :(

Alibi is one of the BEST gay bars in Wilton Manors! The music is always great, the bartenders are quick and nice, and the buy-one-get-one specials during happy hour is one of the best deals around. You may think the prices are a little high at first, but they will give you a little drink chip/token, which is good for another drink (of the same level: domestic beer/call liquor/top shelf liquor). You can use the drink chip pretty much whenever you want, and it's valid for the entire year listed printed on it (e.g. 2019 chips must be used in 2019). Not to mention, the drinks are VERY heavy handed, and you are totally getting your money's worth! They also have some of the most attractive go-go dancers late-night, an extremely fun drag brunch with great food, and awesome special events/parties throughout the year! If it's your first time visiting Wilton, you have to stop by Alibis and check it off your bucket list! It's literally located in the heart of Wilton Manor, so you're in the perfect spot to either start or end your night!

Lived here 20 years...at one time one of my favorite bars...recently had a long time friend physically assaulted by a bartender. It seems the management turns their head and conveniently made sure videos were not available. It seems that these rage-filled employees are not vetted prior to being employed...with few exceptions (the long time bartenders)...the newer "bear-tenders" are vain, lame and don't give a shit about service.

First of all, the food was beyond what I expected. I was here for pride weekend and I was so taken back by the wonder food, the hospitality, and the very handsome staff member who was in a wheelchair... he was gorgeous and so friendly. I ordered 2 meals just for myself that night along with many of drinks and shots for my group I came with. My Best Friend is so amazing for bringing me to this place. I’m looking forward to not only visiting again but looking into relocating permanently that way. So we will have many more party nights and wonderful meals Alibi 😎🍸

This was my fourth or fifth visit. We always have a great time. Drinks are very reasonable. Club is expensive. Food is very good. Music is excellent. Crowder is a fun.

Decent atmosphere, good music. Friendly people. Great drink specials. Just watch the parking Nazzis in the parking lot. You cannot leave your car here and leave the property.

The staff are amazing and the food is as well! Charlie has been a wonderful employee for years and always says hello! Charisma is another wonderful staff member and so much fun to interact with! I have frequented this place since it opened years ago and I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's always so damn delicious! Mike (short shorts) is also fantastic as a bartender and makes a damn good cocktail too!

THE BEST BAR IN FORT LAUDERDALE. Went one night and enjoyed the latin dance and also the drag show with a latina host. Plus we went there again Sunday night and they had multiple drag queens. They were so good. Enjoyed the show very much

Very disappointed tonight. Walked in and "Gloria" was singing. I know she has a following but I am not a part of that. The WOBBLY NOTES ARE HORRIBLE!! I honestly don't understand why she sings at Alibi. I would rather hear and dance to a Donna Summer CD. This bar needs to move her to a brunch time slot and put quality singers on the stage like Lenora and Antonio to the main bar.

I have eaten here many time in my 25 years. In my opinion food is usually Allways lacking or disappointing. Who sells a Cuban sandwich with what look and tasted like a toasted hot dog roll??? I had 2 bits and trashed it,, I now only eat French fries at this bar if I go It's your normal bar restaurant to witch seems quite popular in area,, it once was safe secure parking.. PARKING IS NOW NOT SAFE in my opinion. Watch out for tickets and tow truck drivers and security towing your car saying you left the complex.. Going to a place just because everyone else is there isn't a reason enough anymore. The crowds have seriously thinned out. My guess is community is totally over it and each day brings another lesson of they many other places to go. Alibi staff and owners.. maybe it's time to try a new parking approach by installing pay by phone app parking system.

Had dinner and drinks with 2 friends on 5/6/2019. Left the restaurant and saw 2 tow trucks parked in the front, along with 4 guys with clip boards and phones in hand. Car was towed. After enjoying the Alibi for over 20 years, I will not be returning. Towing bill was $135. Car sustained damaged from being towed. Repair cost was $265. Stay away. There are many places where you can frequent without being towed or have to pay for parking.

They will tow your car away.\nBe careful.\n\nCharley the server is the only thing good about this place.

Went here for the first time this weekend. Can't beat 2-4-1 drinks! They have a lot of food options in the menu. A little pricey but I suggest going for happy hour as they have a lot of appetizers good priced. Outside is very chill patio vibe, inside dark music club like. Only reason for less than 5 stars if I felt the waitress and bartender were not that friendly. But overall a good place to grab a drink and a bite before going out for the night!

It's best probably to sit outside if you want a quick drink and bite. Drinks are two for one during happy hour when I went during the daytime I really haven't been there too much at night so I believe the prices might differ. It will be more expensive than the rest of the Wilton area for drinks at least it felt like. But still they were really good and I enjoyed it. I had shot of the new tequila they were promoting I wish I remember the name of it right now but I don't and a blue moon. The inside is really nice I mean I guess is more pro gay in a weird way I guess I went there with two buddies were both straight and we went to one bartender that was really busy so we went to the other bar closest to the little next-door bar where they were playing I believe Latin music. They ordered drinks and the bartender started off with probably what was a normal banter for him but they didn't get it and honestly I didn't get it either cause I was a little buzz but he insisted on some more jokes asking if they were knob swallowers or the likes of that, till finally asking if they were gay and when they answered they weren't he asked them what they were doing there. I was curious and bit taken aback by the idea that one has to be gay to get a drink at a bar. We gotten to the place where hetrophobia is a thing.. Noted! Well they ordered their drinks and I was asked what I wanted I said wasn't sure. The bartender looked at me frozen as if mockingly suggesting he will wait then. I asked if he could make their drinks while I thought over what I may wanna order. That was not the right answer I suppose since I felt the bartender was still shocked that str8's were allowed in this gay bar. The nerve or one has to be gay cause all gays love dick sex sucking jokes I get it I laugh at a lot of thing but read the room. They just wanted to get a drink not called out for their insanity of being attracted to the opposite sex. Sometimes these moments makes me think of having a city of just gay business is really a good thing. I'd love more diverse bars in the area. But maybe hetro-phobia is a thing. Well we ended up at the outside bar. Had our drinks l, great classy service, small talked with other alibi patrons and had a great time. Next time I'm going to eat but it was just a pit stop and Chance to see two buddies who were in the area on a break between jobs. But def check our alibi it's a great place with chill people. Just hoping hetro-phobia not a new trend

I was in this bar, and walk away to buy cigarettes... they town my car. And the company of town companies says is Alibi call... is $180! So take care when you go there. I already showered my receipts from the mall, but they don't give a shit!!! Rude people... service not good!

Fort Lauderdale is still a smoker's paradise and Alibi is no exception. The music inside is extremely loud; a typical, dark atmosphere where bar conversation is impossible. So we sat on the patio where the outdoor bar and every table had smokers. The host was ambivalent--not hostile--just not interested in making the customer's visit special. The waiter had a great attitude and was genuinely focused on ensuring that we enjoyed our food and drink. The menu is large and varies widely in the selections. The specials were equally varied but reasonably priced. The cod fish sandwich was satisfying for this hungry patron--not flavorful or memorable, but it served the purpose. The penne pasta dish was also plentiful but soaked in olive oil. The 2for1 happy hour made for a decent experience that is reminiscent of the days of yore. We will probably not visit Alibi again, during our next visit to Ft. Lauderdale. There are several other restaurant/bar options available.

Alibi WAS the place to go to 30 years ago! The same HOT men, 30 years later? Still here. Peek in, look around and then just run! 30 years has not been kind!

The Alibi basically remains the Mecca of the gay bars of Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale. It's the one most tourists, seasonals as well as resident gays make a point of at least stopping in at. In fact it's liquor sales are reputed to be the equal of all the other area bars combined. Their food, especially their burgers, particularly their 'Champ'(my favorite) and their 'Knock Out' are some of the best. The opinion on that is not only my own but that of the Fort Lauderdale Burger Cook Off judges as both were first place award winners. However, the Alibi has cut back on few of their offerings that made them a unique standout amongst other gay bars with food offerings. The size of the chicken wings used are now smaller, not nearly as big, plump or juicy as the once were. What was the Monday flat iron steak is now most often not being served but when it is, not as big or thick as previously. There are no more top of the line meal nights of Florida stone crab or lobster. Hence, though I still find the Alibi to be really good, I can no longer go a 'Wee Hoo!' it's an as good as it gets place.

I have eaten hear before and enjoy it each time. Very popular GLBT crowd and also a popular neighborhood staple. Staff were very friendly. Prices very reasonable for both food and drink with specials.
