“I know, I know...it's not about these adorable birds, but they're really melodious. Anyway, I've lived here many years and have always passed "the big orange" but have never stopped in. Today, the traffic was too much and curiosity won. What a neat "Florida" place. Friendly staff offered me a sample of freshly squeezed OJ and we had a pleasant conversation. I meandered up and down the aisles thinking about gift ideas...of which there are many from giant shells and coral in the thousands of dollars to tiny treasures that you can scoop up. There are also yummy food items like jams. Swing on by and enjoy a break from FL traffic!”

“Bell's Beach Store has everything you need to enjoy a fun filled day at the beach which is located across the street. You can find Bell's in the Lakeside Shoppes on S. Ocean Blvd. On the day I visited they had several racks out front with sidewalk sale clothing. Inside I was greeted by the friendly young lady working. I was impressed by the array of items that any beach enthusiast would appreciate. They sell a great selection of bathing suits and cover ups, beach style clothing, accessories, bags, toys, home decor, hats, sunglasses, foot wear, beach chairs, sea shells, Christmas ornaments, collectibles, and Pompano Beach and Florida themed souvenirs. I had fun exploring all they had to offer and prices seemed very reasonable too, especially for being located so close to the beach. If you are lucky enough to be on vacation or are a local on a staycation, I recommend checking them out.”

“This is such a cute store, and the lady behind the register was SO helpful, we actually went three times during our stay. They have everything you forgot to pack for your vacation or cruise, so head in there and get all the things you need! Sunglasses, flip flops, Hawaiian style shirts, you name it. Even some souvenirs! Name brand shoes and flip flops plus swimsuits and cover ups too. This was a fun shop to visit and we will definitely be back!”

“Yellow Orchid Gifts offers a variety of home decor, apparel, holiday items, and simple houseware. This quaint little shop was very clean and full of very unique and decorative items. Looking for holiday items to make those empty shelves look perfect? This place has what you need. Items include pictures, figures, cups, pots, vases, baskets and more. There were two corners, one with children items and the other with local sports memorabilia. Different themes to choose from to include the beach life, patriotic, and seasonal. Nice Brighton and Vera Bradley merchandise was also available. Come check out this mom and pop shop to get that perfect item to make your home special.”

“You need to visit this place, if only to meet a genuinely nice lady. Honestly she probably has the best pricing on rocks in the entire area. If I told you how much I paid for that amethyst you would tell me it was made of plastic, and believe me it isn't. I can't stress how much I gauge my reviews on customer service... “I ordered a Valentine's Day gift box online. I got a call from the store on the delivery day at 8p saying that their server was down, the orders were backed up, they received all the orders too late and they would be delivering the next day, including a complimentary box of chocolate covered strawberries. The flowers were fresh, the strawberries looked good, and my girlfriend loved it. The only reason it is not 5 stars is instead of the red velvet cupcakes that were supposed to come with the order, they sent some regular shmegular cupcakes. Might do pickup next time.”

“I ordered on Saturday March 2nd from Virginia for a friend that was celebrating a birthday in Ft. Lauderdale. For a same day delivery.I called to make sure of the process and what time it would be delivered. I spoke with Samirt. (I believe he is the district manager for the area) It was a surprise and with some back and forth I realized the only time that we could coordinate the surprise that she would be there was after 7:00pm! They normally close at 6:00pm. Samirt personally delivered the order! What great customer service! I cannot say enough great things about my experience!”

“Hudson News is usually my go to for airport gift shops and snacks spot. We got breakfast and coffee at Sergio's and Intercoastal News was located across from Sergio's so we checked it out.You will find Intercoastal News at Terminal 1 after passing through security. They have the usual snacks, food, drinks, books, newspapers, candy, neck pillows, and then some. You'll pay an arm and a leg for anything at the airport. Everything is expensive at these spots. Hence convenience stores and gift shops. It's a super clean spot and customer service is good.”
