Back in 2022, they screwed up my tax return. Two years later, the IRS came after me. Thanks to HR Blocks screw up, I now have had to pay the IRS twice what I owed. HR Blocks response? Charge me AGAIN to find THEIR mistake, then say its not their problem.

We are super disappointed and angry with this company, my husband and I went to do our taxes approximately 1 month ago, because according to us this is a reliable company. The lady who assisted us to file our taxes is called Michella. She was friendly throughout the entire tax process but she forgot something very important when it came to asking us for our account and routing number. We gave her the cell phone so she could enter it herself and He forgot to put a 0, that 0, which meant that the money from the IRS never reached our account. When I realized when reviewing the file, which was on Friday 02/23/24, I realized that I had not put a 0, we went to the office. h&R block of Wilton Manors where we did the process and upon entering a woman who is one of the preparers told us why don't you come when Michelle is there? Is she not there? I found it very rude that this woman responded to us in that way, I am paying more than 150 dollars for a service and I have my rights to complain about your mistake as many times as necessary. Well, when we were there we explained what happened, they told us that since it was the lady's mistake, the money was going to be returned to the IRS and it could take up to 6 months.We do not have to wait up to 6 months for your mistake, they told us that they would send us a check with the money within 7 days...because they know that it was their mistake but until today it has not reached us nothing.. then just as they made fun of us, the woman treated us terribly.. we will start a lawsuit process before the state and the court. I have all the evidence and even recordings.. I would never recommend this company.
