My two kids' (ages 7 and 8) first experience at sleepaway camp. They had a great week and really enjoyed the variety of activities, from horseback riding and ropes courses to paintball and all sorts of water fun. They were asking to go back before we had even gotten home.

Camp Osprey is a wonderful place for summer camp. My son had so much fun. He loved riding horses and paintball. The food was great and he made some life long friends there. The counselors were fun, friendly and helpful. My son is ready to go back again!

I cannot say enough about this camp. Both of my children have been attending for years, and they absolutely cherish their time at Camp Osprey! The friends they have made and the wonderful experiences that will last a lifetime. Gary is salt of the Earth, genuine and caring. Thank you so much! My wife and I are so grateful!

Awful place. My 11 y.o. Daughter was there in July 2025. We had to pick up her earlier. Because she was bullied and abused by 15 y.o. group of outlaws including guys there. I am talking about physical and mental abuse. We are getting ready for the lawsuit against this “camp” and bullies. Couldn’t imagine that place where you pay can treat your Minor like that for your own money. Well. Not anymore.

My kids have been going to camp Osprey for the last seven years. It’s a great place for them to disconnect from technology and just be kids. They’ve learned to take care of themselves, others and care for the livestock. They always come home with amazing stories of their adventures. We love the owners and all of the staff. They love it so much they became
counselors this summer.

Camp Osprey Review A Week to Remember!
We were initially a little nervous sending our daughter to summer camp for the week especially knowing she wouldn’t have her cell phone to stay in touch. But wow, were we pleasantly surprised! Not only did she love every minute of her time at camp, but she also came home saying, “Can you believe I didn’t even miss my phone?” That says it all.
She did mail us a letter which made us feel at ease knowing she had settled in and was already making friends. Honestly we were more worried than she was after drop off. 🥴
We can’t say enough about the counselors. Hannah, Peyton, and Posha were fantastic, attentive, kind, and always on top of things. We could tell they truly cared about the kids and made sure the group stayed safe, supported, and excited for each new adventure.
Every activity whether it was the the big swing, zipline, the blob or paint ball was a hit. Our daughter said she felt safe at all times, was constantly entertained and looking forward to what was next. As parents, that’s exactly what we’d hoped for.
Thank you, Camp Osprey, for giving her a week full of memories, confidence, independence, and activities. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Never go here it is awesome on the outside but HELL on the inside Counselors barely care about what thing the kids do. I’ve been in that hell for 2 weeks and I’m not going through that again! ( thank u Maceo for being the only good counselor)

Our son has gone the past 4 years and loves it! The counselors are helpful and Gary is amazing!! He loves all the activities - it is great to see him enjoying the outdoors and meeting new people!

I can’t say enough good things about this place!
❤️ This is my kid’s home away from home for the 2nd summer in a row!
When we moved to Parrish a couple of years ago, my son really struggled to make friends, connect with peers at the (not so great) school he was zoned for & expressed a lot of loneliness…way too much for a 12 yr old to be feeling!
I stumbled upon this place while driving down the road & I’m so thankful I actually followed up & looked into them online!
The owners have been together a long time, raised 5 boys of their own & maintain a Christian foundation while offering all sorts of scenic outdoor activities, team building opportunities & fun games for kids of all ages.
Not only has this camp helped to build up my pre-teen’s intrapersonal view in a positive way, it has also majorly impacted his interpersonal relationships, communication skills and leadership abilities as being one of the older kids attending.
I have witnessed MAJOR improvements in his overall self-confidence, attitude, and respect… not to mention his newly found interest and development of this ‘servant mentality’ that he really never expressed before. The positive impacts this camp has had on him have created a desire to connect with other kids, as well as the staff, and he is finding new ways on his own each week to be a helper while having fun!
To be honest…our love of this place has nothing to do with the outdoor activities they offer, location or pricing in comparison to other summer camps. It has to do with the people and leaders of the program. They are making waves in my kid’s life that I always hoped for.
From one parent to another, especially those of struggling or lonely kids - we have participated in county-wide summer camps, the local YMCA, athletic/sports focused programs, and all sorts of others summer camps over the years. All of them have lacked the same thing….real connection and opportunities for growth that stretch beyond basic activities that will keep them busy while you’re working.
I would recommend this place to anyone & hope that ALL kiddos near & far attending summer camp once or every week or summer get to experience a place like this while they are young! ❤️

As a kid who went to camp osprey, I loved it! It gives you an outdoorsy vibe (which I love) and it teaches you how to take care of yourselves while walking through the woods with animals. Overall it was a great experience and I am going back this summer!

Accommodating staff and a great camp! There's a lot of land and activities to do there including kayaking, water slide, rope swing, warp wall, horseback riding, and much more. It's always a pleasant place to be and feels more like a real camp, but with well-cooled cabins

My Son loves working here as a counselor!! Mr. Gary is truly the best owner... All staff included are equally amazing. I'd recommend sending their child or children to anyone.
