The way the man on the phone told my Son to come pick up his truck was so rude!! All he was simply doing was asking a couple of questions and they called him and said "Are you the kid that does not want to spend any money?" That was not even the truth!! How rude to treat people that way! I was born and raised in West Orange county and have always referred them as I am a Body shop Manager. I will NEVER refer anyone there again after the way they treated my Son!

Took my truck to them to get leaks fixed and never got a full quote on the job before they told me to just come get the truck they did not want to work on it. Waste of my time. Also had a relative get a transmission rebuilt by them some years back And had to bring it back before even making it a mile down the road.

Wonderful job! The mark of great service is how they handle mistakes. I had them rebuild the transmission on my Silverado pickup truck. When I got the truck back, it wasn't shifting smoothly. I took it back to them, and they replaced another part from Chevy. Now it's working perfectly, and I'm ready to put another 200,000 miles on the truck. Thanks again for the excellent service!

Find an alternative shop. Would give zero stars if possible. This place is a disaster. Waited for parts for months orders the wrong parts twice. Got so bad I had to find a new shop. Went to pick up my transmission in pieces in a card board box. Lost bolts and parts. Told me “sorry”. And “good luck”. Absolutely run by junkies. Owners told me there was an employee on employee shooting and that was part of the delay. Do not use these guys

Best mechanic I have found in years. They not only diagnosed the problem quick but also fixed it for an incredibly fair price. Definitely highly recommend this mechanic if you haven’t found your local go to guy who knows his stuff.

AMAZING experience here!!! It’s a family owned business. They got us is same day to assess what was wrong with my daughters car. Ordered the parts and completed the job within 2 days. They offer a military discount which is great as a single mom. I appreciate they gave me all the old parts they replaced and asked if I wanted them or not. Will definitely go back for transmission needs!!

I broke down at around 11 PM on the FL Turnpike on a Thursday night. Judging by the sound, I knew it had to be something related to the transmission.Since I had to wait two hours for the tow truck to arrive, I started doing a Google search for transmission shops nearby. Two highly rated shops came up. One of them, AT, was within 5 miles. I decided to have my truck dropped right outside their gate.The next morning, I arrived at their shop shortly after opening time. I was greeted with a friendly smile. I explained the situation as well as letting them know that I had to be back on the road to Texas by Monday.Say no more, I was told. They took a look at my truck immediately and diagnosed it to be a broken flywheel. I was told that they would have me driving by Monday. And they delivered!Judging by how many cars they have on the lot, they are a very busy shop. But they made time over the weekend to work on my truck.I spoke to my mechanic back at home and asked him if the price quoted for replacing the flywheel was fair. He told me it was better than fair. Actually, on the cheaper side.Alternative Transmissions did me a solid. They were fast, fair, and honest. Definitely 5 stars for these guys. Highly recommended.

After calling a few other places, they offered the best price for replacing my flywheel. Not only that, they noticed my lug nuts were stripped and cross threaded by another shop when they "fixed" my tires. These guys got them off and put new ones on at no charge. Car is running great a week later. Thanks guys!

Took a really long time to finish my vehicle. Nine months long! But, it’s an older vehicle and hard to find people willing to work on it. Quality seems good. I just wish they had told me it would take so long.
