Update: I sill have not heard from Banfield even after emailing them at the email below.I will not be returning to this Banfield location due to the experience I had with Dr.Benavent. She was rude, acted like my pet was an inconvenience to her, and was just interested in selling me extra things to pay for since technically all my pet’s services that day were covered under the wellness plan. The vet tech helped check me out - when she said I had a card on file I confirmed the last four and she says “yes that’s the one” - I look at my bank account the next day and it was indeed not the card I confirmed with her that was charged. It really worries me if she can’t confirm a card number - how she’s able to care for our pets.To top it off - I was sent a survey about my visit where I requested a phone call from management. Four business days later I still have not heard from them. After this experience I may cancel my wellness plan altogether.Extremely disappointing and did not expect this from Banfield at all considering my pet has visited several locations over the last four years.

The service provided can feel rushed and not personal due to the volume of pets seen daily. Not worth the savings, only worth it if you have no other options. Also, worth mentioning that they make cancelling very inconvenient through a multi step process that has to be done by phone during work hours.

Horrible customer service on my only visit. Will never take another pet there. It seems that you're interrupting their oh so precious time! Never again!! Winter Garden Animal Hospital is so much better - more comforting, they empathize so much more with you and treat you and especially your pet so much better!

Front Desk attendant is very rude and unprofessional. Asked for a manager and she pretty much ignored me And raised her vouce. Also tried to speak with the Vet and was informed that we can’t talk to them. I have their plan for 4 years and Don’t recommend!!! Go somewhere else because they clearly don’t care about you.

If you don’t want to get upset stay away from any Banfield , unfortunately here in Florida I wasn’t able to find one Banfield that was efficient, very friendly people but poor service , I cancel the plan and I would not recommend anyone to sign with this plan , this office in particular the employees rotation is big every time is someone different, last time my dog was check in hospital and was not even in the office that’s how professional they are! Frustrating all u can say

This location is always so overbooked now that the vet cannot properly care for their patients. We were rushed in and out and were told there was not a room available. My concerns for scheduling this appointment in the first place were not addressed and I was not given proper feedback. I was told that ithe vet remarks were with the receipt. I went home to review the paperwork and saw they listed my pets teeth in poor condition, which I know is not the case bc we just had them done the prior week at another business that does not use anesthesia, which I had to cover out of pocket bc the last time he had it done at this hospital, they had difficulty waking my pet likely due to too much anesthesia. There is a need for more Banfield hospitals due to expansion of population and this location being overbooked all of the time. There needs to be one one in Clermont and Groveland. Or hire more staff. What exactly does Banfield plan to do about this problem?Thankfully they're opening a Vet 365 and Pet Co is also opening a similar place with plans that are comparable to Banfield. I don't want to leave Banfield but my pets health and safety are important to me and I need to feel his doctors also care.Additionally, I reached out to the care advocate team and to date, they have not responded so please give me a phone number and not an email if that is your solution.

We brought our sweet baby here because she was having bladder problems and was told our appointment time was 8:15 AM. Upon arrival we’re told they can’t give any pricing due to their system being down, ok that’s fine, stuff happens. As well as being unable to tell us when we can pick her up/ when she will be seen. We call back at 10:30 to get an update and get told our dog still has yet to be seen and still weren’t given any pricing. Why on earth would they have our dog sitting in the back in a cage with all the other dogs barking? We could have just brought her another time if they would’ve been upfront about the appointment time. I do not recommend.

They're a great facility and care about the fur parents concernsOnly downside the medication they give your pet even with a discount on the plan is easily 2x the price.. no bargain.. and to get a script refilled outside their facility.. it's like pulling teeth

Rude, condescending staff, ridiculous wait time for a drop off appt. Add this to a long list of previous horrible experiences and this will be our last visit and we will be cancelling our wellness plan.

The best thing is they do drop offs. The one thing you must remember is if there is a surgery day and 2 doctors and 5 staff, they have to see to settling 30 animals in a 3 hour period and getting everyone checked in. Common sense; It will be crazy busy.Phones might not get answered on time if you have 10 people show up at once, which does happens, and if a nurse doesn't show up there will be a delay in drop-off. Despite the waiting and missed phone calls, especially in the mornings, they know their stuff. I am told the staff are extremely busy from 7 am - 5pm, but all pets are well cared for and treated well. There is a wellness plan called OWP which is a great savings plan especially with dental, heartworm, shots, and illness. It is highly recommended. Another common sense piece of advice is the receptionist is not a nurse or a doctor and they are trying to do 4 things at once, so be patient. The hospital is always booked far in advance and they also do not do emergencies, so if they are able to squeeze you in for a sickness, be thankful!(Because of client confidentiality and being extremely busy I was unable to take pictures).
