I would have expected more help from the store associates. I think if service would've been better I would've ended up making a purchase but I got frustrated and left.

Chico’s in Winter Garden overall is a great store. In the past I felt like the closing was suited more for older women, but it seems like they have more fun styles now. The clothes quality is fantastic, I have some pieces that I bought a couple of years ago and they are still in a great shape although I wear them a lot. The prices might be a bit on a higher side but you can easily get a few pieces and easily mix and match outfits. Great selection of fashion jewelry too.

Come here every year while on holidays from Ireland. Always managed to get many beautiful pieces of both clothing and jewellery but this year I find prices are too high for me...sorry!

Having just had my first shopping experience at Chico's, I must say that I am stunned by the accusations of an unwelcoming sales staff. My experience was the exact opposite. Maria greeted me shortly after I entered and helped me throughout my visit without being intrusive. She brought me different sizes and found me different clothing items to go along with pieces that I liked. Everyone there was cheerful and helpful and happily aided me in ordering a few items that weren't available in my size. There were at least 3 other women who came into the store after me and they were all greeted and aided in the same way. I had nothing but a positive experience and I will definitely be going back.

I have been to this store 3 times and not once has anyone said hello, welcome, can I help you? I worked for the Chico group, in California, about 2 years ago and I am shocked how this store even makes it. Our manager would have never allowed any of the sales associates to treat customers like this and BTW, I am white.

Honestly, I do not shop here however, after hearing my friends mom cry over how she felt when leaving this store I will never step foot here. My friend’s mom visits Chico religiously. She supports this business by being one of their regular customer yet she just opened her eyes to how they discriminate against her. While she was in the dressing room trying on clothes she over heard staff greeting customers and asking if they need any assistance then she realized that she had never been treated that way. The employees here are primarily white and I’m assuming so are there customers. She is a women of color so once she realized this she stopped trying on her clothes and leave. Before leaving she decided to approach the manager and make it known how she felt. The manager acknowledged that she remembers her because she has seen her there multiple time yet she had no response for why her staff doesn’t greet her. Before deciding to spend over thousands of dollars here consider how they treat their customers of color. No business discriminating their customers should have anyones support.

My mother has been a loyal Chicos member for years and she spends thousands of dollars at this store. She has came to this store numerous times and the last few times she has noticed that NONE of the workers greet her, ask her if she needs help to store the clothes she is going to buy, or anything. While my mother was in the changing room today, she over heard the workers greet and offer help to other customers (who were white). My mom is black and the fact that my mom had to overhear other customers being acknowledged and helped is SO SAD. She drives out of her way to this store particularly because she prefers it versus going to the mall. The store manager Debbie.S who was on duty today (and the other times) is aware of this issue (being that this is the 3rd time) and acknowledged my mom and was unapologetic that this has happened to her once again. Judging a person by the way they look, the color of their skin, or whatever, is UNACCEPTABLE! I will be calling corporate, my mother will NOT return to this store, and I hope this store, the workers, and the manager learn to be more AWARE of their actions.

Lady at the register at around 1:50 pm was the worst employee i’ve ever seen. She acted like everything i asked her was such a hassle when i was just trying to sign up and make my own account. She kept sighing and giving me rude looks as she was talking to me with the worst attitude. Definitely not coming back to this store, im absolutely shocked at the customer service.

Three strikes and they are out! I have been a loyal customer at this standalone location since I do not like going into malls. However, a happy day turned sour. After 2 years of not shopping at Chico's I went to spend my Xmas gift cards and was feeling happy. To my dismay for the third time I was not acknowledged nor asked by a sales person to take the 4 articles in my arm in the dressing room, which is usually the norm. Thus, I went in an empty one myself, erased the old names on the white board and wrote in mine. During that time I over heard a sales person ask a NEW customer (peeked out the door) to take her items to the dressing room. Needless to say she was white and I am not. I purchased my items and provided the feedback to the manager, Debbie Skinner....for the third time mind you! I asked if she remembered me...she said yes cause I have shopped there over the years and normally spend over $500 each time. I expressed my disappointment with constructive feedback. Yes, she apologized for what happened. However, I was already done! As I was explaining how I felt about what happened I started to cry because I felt so unappreciated. I will NEVER go back to this store and will have to get use to Chico's in the Millenia Mall, where ironically I am greeted and made to feel welcomed when I have gone. Teachable moment for the staff: Please learn to acknowledge and treat ALL customers with respect and appreciation in the future.
