Great gym I've been going since it opened and I've never had a problem with the machines or staff. My sister got a gym membership yesterday and Shawn helped us sign her up. He was friendly and took his time to explain the packets they offer. I Look forward to work out here everyday.

I became a member at this location as a Peak member and wanted to downgrade my membership. Not only was it a $20 fee to downgrade (for seemingly no reason), but the girl at the front did not actually downgrade my membership, so I've been charged for the peak membership again after requesting a downgrade. I will now be cancelling my membership and finding another gym.Edited 1/3/24: In mid-December, I went into the gym to cancel my membership, and they wanted me to pay next month’s fee to cancel. I explained that I had already paid $20 for a “downgrade fee”only to find that my membership had NOT been downgraded, and asked if they could waive the payment since I had been paying for a membership tier I was not aware of. The front desk staff were not able to help me and suggested I reach out to GM, Shawn. This issue has still not been resolved, after two emails to the gym and a text to Shawn. After reading the other reviews here, I’m not hopeful or confident that this issue will be resolved easily.

Let me first start by saying I've gone to two other Crunch locations and facilities are great! Unfortunately the first time visiting the Winder Garden facilities I receive horrible service by gentlemen name Sean.Sean came up to me and my guest (a veteran) to inform us that personal training was not allowed further stating that we are stealing money from the personal trainer there. I informed Sean that I am not a personal trainer and my veteran friend is not either but we do spot each other during exercise. Last time a check spotting is not personal training. Spotting is required for safety!!!Anyways, Sean did not care to listen to what I had to say. He continued to informed that, as a result, of his observation he will flag my account for personal training and that next time he observes personal training session happening that my membership would be cancelled.Crazy thing is that my veteran friend was going to join Crunch after our session but decided not join due to the bad experience we had with Sean . Sean really needs to work on his customer service!!!

recently switched to Crunch Fitness in Winter Garden, Florida, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. After leaving LA Fitness, I was on the hunt for a gym that offered not only a great workout experience but also a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Crunch Fitness exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the atmosphere at Crunch is invigorating. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by an energetic and positive vibe that motivates you to push your limits. The gym is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with state-of-the-art machines and equipment that cater to all fitness levels and goals. What truly sets Crunch Fitness apart is the staff's friendliness and dedication. From the moment I signed up, the staff made me feel like part of a fitness community. They're always ready to assist, answer questions, and provide guidance on workouts or classes. The personal trainers are knowledgeable and approachable, making it easy to seek advice or schedule a session.Speaking of classes, Crunch Fitness offers a wide variety of group fitness classes that are both challenging and fun. Whether you're into high-intensity interval training, yoga, or cycling, there's a class for everyone. The instructors are passionate and encouraging, creating an environment where you can thrive and enjoy every workout.Another standout feature is the gym's flexibility in terms of membership options. They offer affordable plans with no long-term commitments, so you can tailor your membership to fit your lifestyle and budget. In conclusion, Crunch Fitness in Winter Garden, Florida, has completely won me over. It's a fitness haven with an incredible atmosphere, a diverse range of classes, and a team of friendly and supportive staff. If you're looking to make a switch like I did, I highly recommend giving Crunch Fitness a try. It's a gym where you'll not only achieve your fitness goals but also feel welcomed and motivated every step of the way.

I went in to the club on October 6th to downgrade my membership. My membership was never downgraded. Instead, the $20.00 fee that I had paid that was supposed to be for the downgrade fee was credited to my account. I was charged the monthly fee for the Peak Results membership for November AND December. I called them to discuss this matter which resulted in my first phone call never being returned, the second phone call was an employee asking me to call back to speak to a manager and today's call resulted in a 'manager' telling me that I would have to pay another $20.00 downgrade fee and it takes 30 days for it to take effect. I went in and cancelled my membership within an hour of that phone call. This club is an absolute rip off and they do not care about you at all. They want you to sign up so they can charge you for everything they can get away with. I am being held responsible for an employees mistake. I requested a copy of the downgrade form I had signed and the employee that had assisted me never even selected a membership to downgrade me to.... They stated no refund would be issued and when I asked for a phone number or email to someone higher up, they said there was no contact information. BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM THEY ARE TRYING TO PLAY.

Great facility, new equipment and a helpful and genuine staff. Awesome price for a new gym. Only issue is an abundance of high school kids crowding it at times. Otherwise, phenomenal place!

I have communicated directly with the extremely rude management and employees, sent communication through their website, mailed a letter and still this gym continues to harass me and charge my card for different amounts. I have NEVER used their services and only went in on their promo day as they would not stop spamming my phone and email. That should have been the red flag. The representative on site said it was a soft launch because they didn’t know when they were opening and when they opened I would be able to explore my options and plan that was custom to my needs. I never agreed to these ridiculous charges nor does the sign up information they emailed to me dated for 2030, disclose any of what they’re trying to charge me. I have proof with photos of the repeated attempts for numerous different amounts they’ve attempted. It’s fraud! There are many others this seems to be happening to, and I think it justifies for some class action type of movement. This gym is the definition of bad business and it’s sad that many in the Winter Garden community have been scammed by them. Negative stars if possible. Bad Business! Stay away!

BUYER BEWARE - SCAM if you sign up for monthly membership.Loved that this was a new gym but way too crowded for me during hours I could come in.I signed up for the monthly membership so I could easily cancel. Called on August 12 to cancel and they said I needed to come in to cancel. Came in on August 14 and was told I couldn’t cancel until September. Called September 19 and talked to a manager. They said they canceled me and my last payment would be September. Now October I was charged again. Called again and talked to David then the GM who is Shawn Friedman. He was quite rude and told me it was my responsibility to cancel my membership. Told him it was his responsibility to properly train his staff because I did try to cancel my membership several times and was told it was canceled after September. He then insisted that I come in to cancel because they couldn’t do it over the phone.Magically however he canceled my membership without me coming in! Interesting how that happened. But now wants me to pay for another month! That would be a huge NO. Horribly managed organization proven by the inability of the GM, Shawn Friedman to provide any form of customer service. The front staff however were always pleasant, but young employees who have little experience knowing what a “good” manager and well run organization is like.

Hate this place. Always crowded, and I mean ALWAYS, always way too loud. Lots of equipment but so poorly thought out that it’s hard to move around the gym. Locker rooms are WAY too small. And, unless you sit hitting refresh in your phone 24 hours before a class like you are trying to book Taylor Swift tickets you will never get a place in any of their (very few) classes. Was really excited when I heard this place was being built. Massive disappointment and I will be canceling my membership.

Monday, September 4, marks one month since there is no hot water in the showers, there are already several announcements that I make to them and they seem not to care, they started well, but everything cannot always be maintained like this(Update : The fault was already repaired 2 days after this post, now I can say that it is an excellent place to do the exercises and then take a great shower ????)

The gym is great. However their management and how they run it is terrible. I signed up for the basic membership. I tried changing my payment by making an account and it would not work. I emailed twice and even message one of the trainers that was trying to do the kick off meeting with me about needing help with getting my account set up. NOTHING. I finally went in and turns out they wrote my email incorrectly. So I finally set up my account. I go home and change payment info- tells me it’s been changed successfully.Yesterday I got a notification stating they charged me close to $30. I called and they said they’re charging me a late fee, why?!?? It was all set up. She then said the manager would have to call me back and talk to me about it. Did I ever receive a phone call back? Nope!So once again I have to go in and fix this in person. Ridiculous. And I’ve barely been with them a month.Do not recommend and if I could I’d go back to my old gym.

I became a member of Crunch in July. Unfortunately, due to last-minute circumstances, I had to relocate from Florida. I made several attempts to cancel my membership, but encountered difficulties in doing so. To my surprise, I was charged both the annual fee and the monthly payment. I reached out to their customer service for assistance, but still couldn't successfully cancel my membership. They informed me that I needed to pay an additional $18.29 for the upcoming month of October, which I was unaware of in the initial contract. I had believed the monthly fee was only $9.99, so I was puzzled as to why I was being charged $18.29. It didn't seem to align with my understanding, especially considering that taxes should only account for a minimal increase, not exceeding $5.

New gym for me as Esporta is closing. Brand new location so nice new machines, none broken and plenty of dumbells. Haven't found the slow time but there's plenty to do even with it packed

the staff and the gym are AMAZING i absolutely love everyone there, except for kevin. kevin is the zumba instructor at night. Me and my friend were trying an exercise on one of the poles that’s in the room and we figured it was ok due to the fact that’s it bolted to the wall, kevin sees us, starts screaming at us and belittling us like we’re his kids, keep in mind i’m 20 and a very educated women i do not deserve to get screamed at for something i didn’t know wasn’t allowed. he came at a very aggressive tone that’s not appropriate from an employee at the establishment. Other then that David and mimi are great every time people come in they have a huge smile in their face and it makes you feel at home.
