Huge THANK YOU to Casey for going above and beyond to answer my questions about oil ingredients since I was worried due to pregnancy! She was so sweet and took great care of me! -Natalia

While my initial experience with this establishment was truly positive, my satisfaction took a sharp nosedive after becoming a member. I've encountered significant issues with appointment cancellations, including one on the day I traveled from out of town. Moreover, my re-scheduled appointments were subsequently rescheduled, leaving me deeply frustrated. I made the difficult decision to cancel my membership, and I wholeheartedly concur with the previous reviewer's sentiment regarding management and company policies – they are indeed lamentable. My experience has been nothing short of exasperating. The requirement to sign a cancellation letter and pay an additional month's fee, even when I have no intention of using the services, feels like a blatant money-grab. It's a complete rip-off, and I am resolved never to engage in a membership subscription with Hand and Stone again.I used to highly recommend Nina and another therapist in high regard, but since their departure, the quality of service has deteriorated substantially. In hindsight, I regret not leaving alongside them.if your new and thinking about a membership SAFE YOUR TIME AND FIND ANOTHER ESTABLISHMENT THIS IS NOT IT.Furthermore, the so-called "upgrades" are hardly worth the added cost, as the hot stone treatment barely lasts 3-5 seconds, making it a blatant rip-off at an extra $30. This establishment's current state is profoundly disappointing. I don’t even care to utilize my final credit because they are just going to treat me as if I’m another number not a valued customer. I hate this for you all I really had high expectations for the Winter Garden Location.

Rude customer service.During one of the Hamlin fest , I came up to the H&S booth and became a member since the WG office was new and nearby. Due to taking care of my senior father, I visited monthly so my aches could be relieved. It was until one day, for one of the appointments, my father fell ill in a critical health state (life or death) and obviously I needed to tend to him so I had to cancel the appointment for that day. During the call, they let me know they had to charge me for a same day cancellation (as noted in their membership contract) & that’s when the nightmare with H&S began. I decide to cancel my subscription when the staff’s attitude turned cold and rude while I was dealing with my father. Since I was the only caretaker fully tending to my father’s health, I hadn’t scheduled any services & therefor I had accumulated a few. Due to canceling my membership, I had 90 days to use my accrued services. I decide to schedule my remaining appointments to be able to use them within the 90 day window. I received a call 2 days prior to one of the appointments and they said they needed to cancel my service for but due to my complicated schedule with my father, I was unable to schedule within the time they were offering me. Unfortunately my father passed away I had to leave the mainland to deal with arrangements. I tried requesting an extension of my services but the receptionist spoke to the manager and refused to provide me a bit more time to fit my appointments and use my accrued services.Needless to say, I AM FRUSTRATED AND I DON’T RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL

Scheduled a month beforehand. I honestly don’t ever get massages but I was convinced that it would be a “relaxing” experience. They cancelled within an hour of the appointment. For something that’s supposed to be “relaxing” this was a stressful experience without actually even stepping into the establishment. This seems to be a reoccurring theme. Send your hard earned money elsewhere or at least acknowledge that your appointment is not guaranteed.

Hand and Stone is a chain company but I really like this one in Winter Garden, because it is new, very pleasant and peaceful inside and within walking distance from our home! The staff are always friendly, its clean and very tranquil. They offer facials and massages. I had a massage once and did not have a good experience, there was too much pressure for my back and really did not enjoy it. However, I enjoy the facials so much that my husband and I joined and get one once a month. They have a nice waiting room with smooth tranquil running water. It starts the peaceful experience out. You can reserve the same technicians if they are available which if you book ahead of time, you can get the same person. After your technician gets you, they go over your plan with you what they will do and if there is anything you want to order. For the facials, they have you change and lay on a nice warm heated table. They clean your face and then whichever facial you chose. I really enjoy the CBD facial, it calms your skin and makes your face look so smooth and fresh.I have had many different technicians' and I have loved every single one of them. I would highly recommend giving them a try.I cant really speak for the massages, as I only had one and did not enjoy it, but my husband does them monthly and absolutely loves them. But I can recommend the facials!

The receptionists were extremely nice. I really appreciate their help.Originally, i wanted to go to the Kissimmee store as I live in Kissimmee. I called 3 times, left a voice mail, and even sent a request for contact on their website. No one ever contacted me back. So, I decided to contact the winner garden location instead. The girl on the phone was extremely nice and accommodating. My appointment was for 6. I got there at 5:40. I had to fill out a very lengthy questionnaire. It asked me to list areas I wanted targeted. I wrote about 2 areas. My right shoulder area (rhomboid muscles to be exact), and my hips.I didn't go back for my massage until 6:05. The therapist gave about 3 minutes to undress and get on the table. Now we're at 6:08. She came into the room and asked what I came in for. That kind of led me to believe she didn't read what I wrote at all making the time I took to write it pointless. That conversation took another 3 minutes. That would put us at around 6:11. She had to prep pillows and I'm guessing towels which took another 2 minutes. 6:13 is about when the massage actually started.I told her I wanted a deep tissue massage. I understand the technique of using your elbow, but not the entire time. I told her to target my rhomboid muscles in the right shoulder. She definitely attacked my rhomboid minor and my trapezius, but completely ignored my rhomboid major, which was the area I needed targeted the most. She used her elbow on my calfs. It seemed that she didn't really want to use her actual hands on anything other than my forearms, hands, and for some odd reason my face. She did this weird "technique" where she took her oily fingers and massaged my face. It was truly bizarre and kind of a waste of time.During the massage, she asked me why I didn't have a spa package. Then asked me if stretched. I tried to give short answers as i really didn't want to spend my time in a massage having a conversation. I came for pain relief and stress relief. After the massage, the front desk girl spent about 5 minutes trying to sell me on spa packages. I politely declined and left.I got in my car and it was 7:00 on the dot. I really don't feel I got the entire 50 minutes I paid for.All in all, it was definitely a bizarre massage.I took the survey and asked for someone to contact me. What i got was an email telling me to come here and very publicly talk about my experience. I don't like writing bad reviews and would have just preferred to talk to someone on a phone call or through email. This kind of seemed like an experience and company that really focuses on quantity when I was looking for quality.

I have a monthly subscription with H&S Windermere, but this location is closer to my house so I decided to give it a try. When I booked my appointment, the staff said that I had credits on my account (due to not going in previous months) so I decided to do an 80 minute hot stone massage with aromatherapy. Unfortunately , it was not worth the extra money at all. I typically get a Swedish massage and figured this would be the same thing with the added stones, but the only thing that a hot stone massage does is rub stones on your body (most of the time) with a small amount of time spent on problem areas. I was really disappointed that there was little-to-no work done to alleviate the “crunchies” in high stress areas. My masseuse was very nice, but I don’t feel like I got what I needed. I ended up paying $91 after one of my credits was applied for a disappointing session. I’ll be sure to go back to Windemere in the future since I’ve never had this problem before.

The staff is great, unfortunately the corporate policies of this franchise and all of their paperwork mandates at every single checkin and their insistence on billing you a final additional monthly fee even when you have no intention of using them again is just poor management and customer service. They require contracts now for everything and even force you to sign a cancellation contract. This is what you go through just to get a massage and "relax"? No thanks. I have been a Hand & Stone client for years at other locations besides this one but the overly-complex corporate influence and lack of common sense and respect for their customers by local management means that I will no longer give any Hand & Stone franchise my money. Shame on them. There are many other businesses who still value their customers and don't treat them like a number or a "contract" to patronage instead. It's a shame because the staff are quite good, but their company policy and management are not.

Best facial I’ve ever gotten. I go every month for a facial and see a true difference in my skin. Kate is my go to person! She’s so kind and wonderful and very informative about your specific skin concerns. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I went here to get massages and facials and we had such an amazing experience with all of our services. I believe Michelle was my massage therapist and she gave me one of the best massages I’ve had in a while. Mariah did my facial and she was so sweet and knowledgable. Will definitely be returning!
