I've been attending this location for about 8 yrs now. It's a gym/fitness center. To all those complaining about weights being on the floor at opening, or any time for that matter, the facility has a small staff with better things to do, than increase their risk of occupation related injury by running around behind the lazy patrons that remove the weights from the racks and are too lazy, inconsiderate, or however you choose to describe them, to put them back where they got them from. My biggest concern when I arrive, is with the members who hold up equipment while chatting, or surfing on their phone. The staff has always been respectful to me. Getting in and getting out in an efficient time is all that matters to me.

Having worked out at many L.A.Fitness Centers, this one is mediocre and it's unfortunate that this is the one is nearest to me.The quintessential piece of strength training equipment is the squat rack. This gym has ZERO. Yes, not a single squat rack, about the only gym I've been to without one. Instead There are a couple smith machines and a couple half racks, though yesterday was another day I waited 20 minutes to get one of the half racks and was never able to get on because of the number of other people trying to get on.It's often too crowded and when so, weights are strewn everywhere. Many members don't bother to put their weights back or in the right place, in fact the other day I had to unload over 200lb from a bench press before I could use it. Or I have to unload two 45lb plates in order to get to the 10s because someone racked them in the wrong place, even though there are labels clearly marking where the plates should go.There is no pool, no Raquetball, no basketball, but there is a nice aerobics room, heavy bags, a spinning room, sauna, and kids club. There is almost always available cardio equipment, though the screens attached to them often don't work or have very poor reception and the gym is kept (relatively) clean. The best part of this gym are the helpful and friendly staff members and knowledgeable trainers.

I love how high the weight stacks go on the machines at this gym. P.S. Super flattered by the beautiful woman I spoke to but I am taken ;)

The best part of this gym is the gentleman who works the front desk in the early morning hours. He gets 5 stars for being the kindest person there and the most caring. The female janitor and the kids’ club woman are friendly as well. But that’s not why we come to the gym. The gym itself gets 2 stars for having too many pieces of broken or old equipment. Almost worse than the broken/old equipment is the fact the personal training area in the open space has now been extended to block machines meant for every day patrons, despite the fact there are rarely any personal training clients facilitating that space. It went from being a roped off area that was plenty big for training 1-3 individuals at a time, to being so grossly large that it has almost devoured the entire floor space area. This gym would benefit from turning the offices beside the storage area into personal training space, as those offices have gone unused since I first joined this gym in 2017. It’s sad to see the gym go downhill so quickly, but thankfully the two new Crunch Fitness locations nearby have remedied that with huge spaces for floor exercises, pleasant training staff, all new equipment, and AMAZING amenities; all for less $$ than what LA Fitness charges monthly too! And their kids club is open until 12, and open on Friday evenings.

Went to redeem a guest pass and support my Zumba instructor friend and left very upset as this pushy desk person asked me for my license, phone number, my friend’s information and a picture. Dude, it’s a guest pass! He had the audacity to ask me what did he do wrong ? Everything! That’s not customer service at all! You’re a vulture!I will never go back to that stinky place. People, don’t fall for those guest passes online. They will try to push you to join like it or not. Beware!

Absolutely terrible gym. Staff is lazy, customers don't EVER put away their weights, dirty as all get out bathrooms, poorly maintained equipment. The only reason to go here is for convenience. I would give negative stars if that were possible.

I went into the gym just to check it out and the young sales associate Aleaha was so sweet. She helped me sign up for my membership and went above and beyond to make sure i enjoy my membership. Shout out to her. I will make sure to send all my friends to her to sign up.
