Our daughter has been at Ladybird since March of 2020. We love it just as much as she does! Great staff and amazing teachers that help her learn, grow and give her the attention and time she needs.

My daughter started Ladybird academy at Winter Garden since she was 18 month old, and now she’s going to be in VPK in August. We love the school, teachers and staffs are reliable. My daughter loves going to school and says she wants to see her friends and teachers everyday. The Director and Assistant director are super helpful, they are very professional and experienced.During COVID-19, the difficult decision was whether sending her to school or not, but they have done a wonderful job on preventing cases happening in the school. As a parent, we feel safe and ease knowing my daughter is in such school. Highly recommended ?

We love Ladybird Academy Winter Garden. Our son (4) and daughter (18 months) have gone there since they were both 3 months of age. The teachers are amazing. The director, Ms. Salina, and Assistant director, Ms. Angie, are fantastic. As a working parent, it’s comforting to know our kids are so well cared for and loved. Our son has learned so much. Before 4 years old he was reading sight words, spelling his name, and writing. He comes home with something new he’s learned every day. We’re continuously amazed and how much he’s achieved there. Throughout the pandemic our kids have stayed in daycare. We’ve continued to be impressed by the safety measures and care taken. And we love having the cameras to check in when we want. We can’t speak highly enough about our Ladybird.

My son has been at Ladybird since January 2018. We love the school. The teachers are very friendly and my son has felt genuinely loved! The director is amazing and very intuitive with what is going on within the classrooms. Any issues we’ve ever had, she has been amazing with helping us and providing solutions! They’ve worked hand in hand with me to ensure my son is getting the most he can educationally and I feel very comfortable with what he is getting from the school in more aspects than one!

My heart is sad to read such horrible reviews about this wonderful school. I can honestly say..Mrs. Salina (Director), Mrs. Angie (Assistant Director) and the entire Ladybird Winter Garden staff are absolutely AMAZING, loving and caring human beings. They treat my daughter as if she is part of their family. My daughter's teachers are truly amazing with the education they are blessing her with throughout the week. Please do not believe what you read. It is hard to please everyone. This is a wonderful school!

I love this school! Both my boys have attended at varying age ranges. The teachers are friendly and kind. The place is always clean and tidy. Any issues that I've had have been addressed promptly by the leadership and communicated to me effectively. I highly recommend!

Thank you to the wonderful teachers that helped prepare my child for Kindergarten. The program is great for helping children learn. Everyone is very approachable and response to questions about my child's progress was never an issue. Professional place and highly recommended.

If I could rate this school bellow 0 I would. If you are the type of parents that just drop your kids and are not paying attention to what goes on after that this school is for you. If not, pay close attention.. The teachers are exhausted, many times because they are left with numerous kids alone against law. They left my kid crying at the door for over 30 minutes without caring to change that behavior with an positive approach. I don’t leave reviews often but parents needs to be aware that I complained to the director and gave this school 3 chances before taking my daughter out. Is just a complete mess. Is not a cheap school so that’s not an excuse. Just a big disappointment.

I am not one to write reviews if they are negative, but I feel compelled to write one regarding Ladybird of Winter Garden. I am writing this from not only a parent's perspective, but also a teacher's perspective. I have been in education for the past 11 years and I know how an educational institution is supposed to operate and I am APPALLED by many things, especially the leadership at this daycare. When we relocated to Orlando we had very little options because many daycares were full and I relied on reading reviews online, so I hope this helps parents that are considering sending their children to this daycare. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE.These are in no particular order:1. We were NEVER formally introduced to our child's teachers. Many days, there were different teachers that I didn't even recognize.2. Our child was moved multiple times out of her classroom without notifying us of the move.3. We had the camera APP and would check in on our child multiple times throughout the day and I would see kids doing inappropriate things- hitting, climbing on chairs, tables, etc.4. One time I was watching the APP and I saw a teacher pulling a child (not my child) to the table to the point where the child's feet were dragging on the floor. I was shocked and called the school right away and the first thing they said was "your child is in the other room" because they moved her without notifying me. My response was "I know my child wasn't in the room I'm calling on behalf of the child the teacher was dragging." They thought I was crazy for bringing it to their attention and when I spoke to the director she played it off like I misinterpreted the situation. I KNOW WHAT DRAGGING A CHILD LOOKS LIKE.5. There were a few times when our child got hurt and we were never notified at the time of the incident. I received a phone call one day while driving to go pick our child up and the lady at the front desk told me that our child was being "brave" standing on a chair at school and fell and hit her head on the table. She had a bruised lip and a cut on her gums. HOW WAS I NOT NOTIFIED RIGHT AWAY?!6. Our daughter was picked up multiple times with diapers full of poop. Also, she had multiple diaper rashes throughout her time here and many days the Brightwheel APP would say that she only had 1-2 diaper changes(that equates to one change every 3-4 hours). When I brought it up to the director she said that she would talk to the teachers, but little changed in that classroom.7. After a few times of expressing concerns with the director I felt like the ladies in the front,as well as the director changed their attitudes towards me. There were many times where the director would simply ignore me when I walked in or out and other times they would be talking as I walked in and immediately start talking in Spanish which made me feel very uncomfortable.8. Kona ice comes to school every Thursday. One Thursday we were NEVER NOTIFIED that our child's punch-card ran out the week before, so she was not going to get an icy. Luckily I was there to pick her up so I was able to go buy her one. If you do not purchase the punch-card then your child will be sitting with their class outside wondering why they do not have an icy. Little kids do not understand why they do not have any icy when they see other kids and the teachers eating them.I was heartbroken for the kids that had to sit and watch everyone else eat ices.9. Many times I'd walk in to either pick-up or drop-off and the lobby was left unattended. This is a HUGE SAFETY CONCERN!10. When picking my daughter up in the afternoons the teachers with the older kids YELLED constantly! There are so many other ways to get kids' attention. It made me cringe every time I heard it.The list could go on and on, but I ran out of "character space" to type. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. I regret not moving my daughter sooner!

Our initial experience during the registration was quite positive and the Director was very engaging. Our 3 1/2 year old attended the VPK3 class and although the teacher was nice, she did not speak clear English. This is so important and we really recognized it during the first few days as she was trying to teach phonics to the kids but struggled. We discussed with the Director and they didn't feel it was a significant issue and said the teacher was certified. We appreciate the certification, but being able to teach pronunciation requires sounding out, phonics, and correct pronunciation. In the end, we withdrew after just 1 week and it took a lot of effort to address. The teacher is so important to the child's learning.
