UPDATE: I usually don't take the time to leave bad reviews but I had to come back because my last visit was such a huge disappointment! I wanted to make this place my new salon considering that its closer to home than my regular salon by my old job. My last set was just a fill in for my nails and I got a $60-$70 pedicure (whichever with stones which they say is the "best one") I enjoyed my experience, both my nails and pedicure lasted well over a month. I was excited to go back on 9/21/23 my tech was Amy. She rushed my nails and feet, over charged me, and my nails are a complete mess! I paid $160 for a basic acrylic gel set, length not long at all, coffin shaped, GEL. While doing my nails I had a feeling they wouldn't last long but I tried to have faith. Even when she finshed my nails out of no where she said "They shouldn't break" I'm like ok. She didn't give me the menu to see price list for myself she asked what pedicure she said the $70 was the best one. When I paid she charged me for a dip set which she tried to force on me in the beginining and I told her I didn't want because I like to get fill ins and chnage my color. My pedicure was about 40 mins she didn't use the rocks. One week later on 9/28/23 my pinky nail broke and on 10/02/23 my middle nail broke. I travel and don't do much because I work in an office environment so to look down and see a nail missing was very upsetting. I'm in Detroit on business but my nails look a hot ghetto mess! $160 wasted and in today's economy I could have used that towards a bill or food. Not Amy providing horrible service.Thinking about making this place my new nail salon considering it's closer to home. Great service! I will be back very very soon!

My experience with Emily is phenomenal. She’s the person to go, whether it be not knowing what nail color to use or needing a certain design/style. Both my daughters & I have been frequent customers with Emily for quite some time! Absolutely love her! She's helpful, friendly, gives us ideas or works with ideas we have, she is always accommodating & truly treats our family so well! Very grateful for Emily as well as the other ladies who make us feel welcome & take care of us when Emily cannot! Great place

I have been going to see Emily at Lovely Nails for a long time and I love this salon very much! Emily is so so talented and sweet and I always leave the salon very satisfied with my new nails! There is a parking lot right out in front which is very convenient. The pricing is also very reasonable! I would highly recommend her services!

Emily is the best! She is the only reason I go to this salon. She does exactly what I want (sometimes my ideas are a little crazy), she’s up to date on current trends in the nail world and even helps me decide when my brain is too tired to ? I’ve gone elsewhere/to different techs when Emily was not available and instantly regretted it. My nails always come out perfect thanks to her! Do not recommend. Pedicure was horrible, the water didn’t feel like a jacuzzi, after I got in the chair half way going I requested my hang nails taken out and she said go to the doctor , not only that but I didn’t get a hot rag on my legs also the lady didn’t cut my toes the way I askedService: Pedicure

Looking for the best manicure you can find? Emily is your gal! She takes her time and truly perfects the shape and is incredibly talented at designs and cool styles! She really takes pride in her work and it shows! I went in and asked for the exact same thing on my toes that I already had. opi bubble bath and French tip gel. Tech only filed all of the gel off of my toes, didn’t soak. Did a base, three thick layers of bubble bath, went to put the top coat on and I had to stop her and tell her French three times and she was surprised I asked for that. The gel is SO THICK and everywhere. All over the edges so I’m sure they will be lifting soon already. 10/10 don’t recommend. There is also an entire brush bristle in the pink and white.
