Tex West Indian Store is a small, well-stocked store carrying a bit of everything for the West Indian community. It offers a good selection of items not found in other stores, including a nice variety of Indian wear, fresh produce, and good quality frozen fish and poultry. The store is clean but can be somewhat crowded. Pricing is a bit expensive for some items and cheaper for others. The owner and staff are described as really nice, friendly, and helpful, providing excellent customer service and going out of their way to assist customers. For an area with few West Indian stores, it is a very good source for supplies.
I have been going to this store for years and only received excellent customer service. The owner goes out of her way to help you. Store is clean and fully stocked. I've read some of these negative comments and it seems like it's coming from the same family.

I went here when Tex was alive. It was much better then. Now is not the same everything looks stale and the store is not clean or organized.I walk in and out without buying anything. Tex was such a humble and friendly person. R.I.P Tex..

Good selection of items you can't find at other stores. It was clean and well stocked. Was asked if I needed help finding something as it was my first time there. I would shop again.
