We rented out the Breakroom Cafe for our baby shower recently, and the space was absolutely perfect! We had the best experience for this joyous event for many reasons. The pricing was affordable and super reasonable, the space was large enough for our group (+75 people) with ample room, the lighting was great with large windows, and the event coordinators who supported us throughout the time were warm and helpful (Carle and Lila). The tables and chairs that are originally set up worked fine for the shower, and there were additional tables/chairs which we also used. The design of the space was nice enough that we didn't require too much additional decoration for the shower, and it was perfect! We brought our own food and drinks for the event at no additional charge which was ideal for us. Highly recommend this space for any mid size events !

Great service and food. The atmosphere has a modern feel. The coffee shop seems like it is connected to the church next door. Some Christian decor and Christian music all contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. There is a corner with toys and books for young children inside. There are tables and chairs outside and lots of outdoor toys for kids in a fenced in area as well. This is a great option for anyone with young children to get coffee.Parking: Tons of parking spacesKid-friendliness: Play area for children

Went to this coffee spot for the first time, what a great atmosphere. There is even a corner for kids which is great. My coffee was great and Tina that was the barista was very friendly and helpful.Kid-friendliness: Great environment to take your kid with you and enjoy your coffee.

Great little coffee shop! We were in the area in need of a pick me up, and this did not disappoint. They are open on the weekdays only, so be cautious of that if you are planning to go. The coffee was very fresh and tasty, and the muffin was amazing! The only thing I would ask for is some hot breakfast items in the future.

Really cute shop with good coffee and muffins, and everyone was very friendly. I don’t think the mixture of having it be a kids environment and a coffee shop environment works well. If you don’t want kids to play and inevitably make noise, you shouldn’t have an entire kids area set up in the shop. It’s not fair to the people that are trying to use it as what it is- a coffee shop, and it’s not fair to children that are just trying to be kids and play with the nice kids set up they have. Either realize there are going to be moms bringing their kids there and they will inevitably make noise, or take away the nice play area and don’t make it such a kid friendly environment.

Such a cute place and a delicious choice of drinks! I found out about this place as a possible event space for the Spring and wanted to look at it myself, so I stopped by for a cup of coffee between appointments in the area. For their Valentines many they had a Strawberry Shortcake Cold Brew that was delicious! It was like a Cake batter syrup in cold brew and then Strawberry Foam on top. A surprising lovely combination. The 2 women working the counter were very nice and remembered my name after they took my order and checked on me a few times too. Overall a lovely store and a great experience

Quiet enough for a sleepy toddler to take a nap! (Because people complain that place isn't "quiet enough" for a coffee shop...) it's connected to a daycare, so yes you'll encounter the occasional wild toddler. The coffee and pastry offerings are no frills. The basics, but everything they do, they do well. The staff are friendly, plenty of comfy seating to get work done, there is wifi... basically everything you need from a coffee shop. But the best part is the attached FENCED IN play area so mamas can have a cuppa in peace and some much needed rest. Lovely patio and lots of parking in a large, open strip mall. It's not where I'd go for my usual cup due to there not being much else around but I love this place for a playdate!

Delicious Coffee, has snacks and breakfast items, Free Wifi, wonderful environment, place for kids to enjoy, indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly staff. The mission statement is "Where Coffee Meets Community" and it definitely delivers on that! I can easily go in, relax, order some wonderful and diverse coffee with a muffin, bagel, or something of the sort. Then go relax on the some of the couches, or get some work done at the many tables. On top of that, it is part of the church building of "The Crossings", so you will get see church staff, including the Pastor, going through and enjoying the same items I do, and will at times strike up conversations with people. At first it was weird that the BreakRoom was only open until 2:00pm on weekdays. But then I thought about it and noticed that they also house events in the space. So, if I were so inclined, I could rent the space to have a birthday party, baby shower, or anniversary party... and of course the same friendly staff.Definitely check it out 10 out of 10 for sure!!!

I'm writing this review based off of my first time at The BreakRoom. I went at 12:30pm on a Friday. For context about me, I'm a freelance videographer, and was hoping to find a productive, comfortable environment to be work in for a couple of hours at The BreakRoom.I chose to give this coffee shop 4 out of 5 stars because they meet a good standard of quality, but there are some things I feel like need to be considered for anyone interested in visiting.First, The BreakRoom does not offer wifi for their customers to enjoy- not even for free. I feel like this should be a requirement for any business that gives customers a coffee shop experience, especially if part of their branding encourages an idea of "community" at their location. But I also get the sense that The BreakRoom wants their customers to commune with each other rather than through their phones based on their branding and location vibes. But I digress.Second, The BreakRoom is part of The Crossings Church, and they share a suite in a plaza. So for about 20 minutes, the church's daycare dismissed the kids they were watching, and the coffee shop part filled with screaming kids and a bunch of parents socializing with each other. It was a little distracting. On a bit of a smaller note: The BreakRoom does offer a variety of seating options that can be comfortable, but the majority of the tables have seats that are made from metal and some sort of bamboo material or something (Don't judge me too hard. I'm not very knowledgable about interior design, haha.). The point is that after only about 30-minutes or so, my thighs and mid-back were already sore.So overall, I do like The BreakRoom as a coffee shop, but I won't be making another visit with needs to do a lot of work. The BreakRoom is good for socializing with friends and drinking coffee- which is their intention. I'm not trying to bash this business at all. I just want to add a review that's different from the rest- one that's more specific and informative about the little things.

My first visit and I really liked the atmosphere. Big space, it’s also connected to a church.I definitely got a sense of it being more of a family oriented place which I Loved. I also liked seeing the places that they do outreach posted showing the ways you can help donate or volunteer it you wanted. Overall I would definitely come back!
