My complaint is not about any of the actual hard-working employees, but rather the treatment that I received from Kenneth Cummings, the Post Master for this location. I shipped a vase to my mother back in February. It was shipped via insured priority mail for $18.40. The package arrived in terrible condition with the vase shattered. The process to submit an insurance claim was ridiculous and had my 70 year old mother making trips to several post offices to find one that knew how to submit an insurance claim. The claim was finally submitted and months later, I received a check for partial payment of the claim. Apparently, since the vase was “delivered” the Post Office does NOT refund the shipping cost. I called the claims number and was told that only the Post Master for the Post Office where the item was shipped could approve the shipping reimbursement. I have gone to the Post Office four times trying to speak with him and he was either too busy to speak with me or left early for the day. I finally insisted on speaking with him this morning and he came to the window with an attitude that he had to speak with me. He said that their policy is no refunds on shipping regardless of if the service resulted in my item being damaged and shut the window in my face abruptly. Side note: The Post Office is in possession of the damaged vase. Mr. Cummings is rude and should treat people with respect and listen to their concern as the Post Master. I will be filing a formal complaint as well.

I placed a delivery hold that expired 3 days ago and now they are holding all my mail still including packages that state they are not delivered by customer request. After calling the USPS 800 number, this was finally resolved. Could not contact this site via phone due to continued ringing and then the line being cut off.

Came in on a Saturday morning and the line was very long , the guy at the counter had a 10 minute conversation with someone about Star Wars and it held the line up. I came here for a package pickup because the delivery failed to my home but I waited 25-30 minutes in line only to find out it would be delivered again today so I waisted my time even though i put it in online to pick up here. The lady who helped me was super professional and kind however.

Why even post the store number if you are not going to answer calls?! I tried for 2 hours calling the office. Poor management, and they probably going to blamed on short staff and budgets. Just no accountability with government jobs. Maybe just tip the UPS driver next Christmas only, most UPS workers do not even have pensions.Postmaster?? Please he/she probably fishing somewhere on job time.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! If there would be a negative scale, I’d use that one! A lazy mailman made no effort to deliver my package, left a notice in my mailbox that I was not available for a signature while I was at home looking out of the window. He literally pulled up to the driveway and left a note. Didn’t even bother to come to the door and left. As a result my package does not qualify for redelivery and I have to go pick it up myself. Yet another waste of time after I’ve already made arrangements to get home early for this freaking delivery the other day. These people are rude and evil! You waste people’s time and make zero effort.

This post office is awful, the drop box in the lobby is constantly locked so I can’t drop off packages after hours, please fix this!

As a business owner, I’ve been going to this post office the past four years, twice a week and everyone that works here are absolutely fabulous, courteous and knowledgeable. I’ve also been to a few other offices nearby (not so pleasant) and always make the trip back to WG Post Office.

The facilities are poorly maintained. From broken tree branches dangling, leaves all over, overgrown weeds, trash cans full of trash and the interior looks very dated… the postmaster of this office must be asleep at the wheel.

Great post office! Pleasant, helpful staff with entry-greeter lady who smiled and immediately let me know she was there to help me. Efficient, customer-oriented lobby that included a self-service kiosk plus winding table-top divider that doubled as a guide for customer line.

Nobody answers the phone and the mail person constantly puts my packages in the wrong box.

I went to the facility on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. I want to early just a male a few packages. I encountered a front desk person named Amy. She was very rude. Very flippant. And I really bad mood. She was treating customers badly. Including myself. Tell the manager on duty which I didn’t get his name and he said she was just helping out for the day. I told him that’s no excuse. He acted like he didn’t care of himself.
