I had my first experience a little less than a year ago when my Tesla was crashed on a Turo rental. Being that Tesla themselves were backed up for months they recommended Windermere Collision as a certified repair facility. The communication was great but took months to figure out supplemental. Not too many complaints but when I got my vehicle back one side had hub caps and the other 2 did not. I guess they got damaged and they didn't replace it. They never performed an alignment so I had to pay myself to have one done and it Is still a little off.My second and most recent experience was with my Polestar. Again...since they specialize in EV's and there are not many shops to repair I chose them again. Similar situation working with Turo insurance can be hell, but this time was just messy. The communication between myself, Turo and the Shop went around in circles. It went in the shop in November and I just got it back a few days ago. While I can acknowledge that they do good body work and are professional, they also over charge in every column. Numerous supplementals were sent over and over and denied because their labor rates were the highest in the state of Florida. They also had very high rates for the paint and painting fees. At the end of it all they replaced a rear rim that was not approved through the insurance company. There were several emails that stated that the Rim was not covered and they did it anyway. They refused to pay for it and when they had already completed it they said the old rim was gone and it was too late. So I over spent $1,200 on a rim that wasn't needed to be replaced. Based on this last experience I will find another shop if I run into any issues again.

My car was rear ended November 18 th 2023. I am a Canadian and was unsure of who to send the car to for repairs.Lexus of Orlando recommended you as the only shop they send the or cars to for repairI picked up the car today and it was brand new .The process was long because Lexus had a key sensor back ordered.Once we obtained the part ,the repairs were finished in short order.During the process ,Kaitlyn ,my service advisor,kept me informed twice weekly on stratus and issues .Once again,thank you

I would highly recommend WCC, as I was extremely pleased with the collision repair completed on my Rivian R1T. The center's end to end process is extremely thorough and everyone I spoke to was completely professional and provided excellent customer service. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the center and the fact that everyone in the front office was professionally dressed with WCC polo shirts. I appreciated that Ana provided regular updates via SMS and catered to all of my needs. She was extremely nice and understanding as I live far from the center and had to coordinate picking it up using a Hertz rental. I would definitely recommend WCC to anyone looking for high quality collision repair service.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner and asked to be given an opportunity to make this situation right. It was a completely different experience from the first 2 times, the car was thoroughly inspected and delivered as promised and on time. Very pleased with the outcome and customer service level this time.Back In Oct 2023 Tesla referred me to WCC, since then I had 2 appointments to correct a paint issue. The original paint issue was resolved but issues surfaced which weren’t present. I was reluctant to take the car back due to poor quality and issues with Hertz rental. Manager Steve Baker assured me it would be resolved, spoke to him a week ago and he told me to expect a call back to confirm my 3rd appointment, (for same issue) and still today I haven’t heard back.Terrible quality service and poor customer service, will not be returning. Have waited valuable time.

After shopping around for a certified Lexus repair shop I found Windermere collision center. I am highly pleased with the results of my repairs. They were very accommodating for drop off as well as pick up. They keep you informed step by step with your own personal service agent that text you updates throughout the process. I love that feature. I felt informed. Even when I would call because I got anxious they were always friendly and willing to answer my questions. I highly recommended them for any collision repairs.

Unsure of my best option after being rear-ended in my Tesla, I asked the service manager at the new Clermont Tesla facility what his opinion was. Without hesitation, he recommended Windermere Collision Center. His advice was solid! As soon as I dropped my car off there, I knew I was in good hands based on the caliber of vehicles in the lot. Lucid, Tesla, Rivian, BMW, Audi... I felt good about it right away. Their communication throughout the entire process was second to none - I was updated via text at least once per week on the status of the repair. They worked directly with the insurance company and simply kept me informed of the progress. A rather large repair was completed within a day of the original estimate they gave me, and that was even with a parts delay. I found a very minor blemish that was only visible in certain light conditions after I brought the car home, and they fixed it quickly, apologetically, and completely. Absolutely 5 stars. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and knowledgable. This is how to run a business!

Both cars were returned to me in immaculate condition, looking as pristine as the day I first drove them. It’s clear that the team at Windermere Collision Center takes great pride in their work, and it shows in the results.What truly set Windermere Collision apart, however, was the customer service, particularly from Rosa. Her updates were a masterclass in customer communication—detailed, informative, and reassuring. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to keeping clients in the loop, and Rosa’s exceptional service greatly contributed to a stress-free experience.

We had our Rivian repaired here and the service and quality were incredible! They are extremely meticulous and our vehicle looks great. We got updates via text message that were very helpful. I highly recommend Windermere Collision Center !

Repair was great, like the accident never happened. They got it done faster than I expected, around two and a half weeks from dropoff to pickup; and while it wasn't cheap, it wasn't as bad as I was worried about, having heard horror stories about the costs of Tesla repair.The communication was also fantastic when it was with actual humans. That said, their Web-based communication could use some work. In particular, I requested an estimate via a form on their site, and I tried to be patient with not receiving a prompt reply; then when I finally called them, they told me that form doesn't work. Plus, once they started working on my car, they gave me a link to a page where I could supposedly get status updates; but it told me that my car was ready a few days before that was actually true, and when I called in to confirm, they told me that the information on that page doesn't really mean anything.I appreciate that their core competency is fixing cars, not operating Web sites, and I'm not deducting any stars for this; but I do think it would be better for them to not have those Web-based tools at all than to have inoperative ones creating confusion. I'm bringing this up in my review so that other customers will be aware not to trust those Web-based tools.
