WGAH is a very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable veterinary facility! We used them for several years when we lived in the Orlando area and they accommodated a boarding stay with no fuss even though we hadn't been in the area for a year or two. I can't recommend this location highly enough. They always treated both of our Huskies exceptionally well, have great customer service, friendly staff, and great vets and techs.

I recently visited Winter Garden Animal Hospital to refill my dog's thyroid medication, an experience I've had several times. This time, however, I was surprised to find the price had increased by over 130%, from around $25-$30 to $70. When I inquired about this significant price hike, the receptionist mentioned a price increase in January but could not justify the significant difference compared to prices at other pet pharmacies. Additionally, despite checking my email thoroughly, I received no receipt for this transaction, nor any prior notification or explanation of the price adjustment. This absence of documentation added to my concerns. My attempts to discuss these matters with the management were futile, as I was unable to speak with anyone despite trying on two separate occasions. It is not just the unexpected cost that has prompted my decision to seek services elsewhere, but more so the handling of the situation. The lack of communication, transparency, and apparent indifference to addressing my concerns has left me deeply disappointed. This experience has reinforced the importance of not only affordable care but also the value of respect, support, and open dialogue between a vet's office and pet owners.Given the lack of detailed communication and the failure to provide a receipt or satisfactory explanation, I've made the difficult decision to seek veterinary services elsewhere. My choice is driven by principle, emphasizing the need for a vet practice to offer clear communication and genuine concern for its patients and their owners. I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism, highlighting the critical role transparency and effective communication play in establishing a trustworthy vet-patient relationship.

The vets and staff at Winter Garden Animal Hospital always take excellent care of our dogs. They take the time to figure out what's wrong and the best way to deal with it. They are always friendly and very gentle and caring with our fur kids. I can't say enough good things about them. We've been going there since 2012.

The only animal hospital I trust to bring my pets to and refer my family/friends to. I trust these fabulous veterinarians with their expertise and recommendations from regular annual visits to illness treatment plans - I know my pets are in the best hands possible! Thank you always to the WGAH team - all the amazing receptionists and vet techs who help these amazing vets get the job done! This is the only place I will bring my pets to and trust 100%. You don’t realize how important a safe and trustworthy veterinary hospital is until you experience other places that have broke that trust and failed your pet. I highly recommend WGAH and thank you again for always taking such great care of my fur babies!

I have taken MANY a fur here, for at least 15 yrs. While they are a bit on the expensive side, which I also get, because everything has gotten expensive, they have great doctors with great experience, and knowledge, some Dr's bedside manners are better than others, but they do their jobs, Dr. Cappleman is the best, personable and kind, interaction very understanding and seems very attuned to pet and owner. One pet peeve, more than once, they have charged me for services such as urinalysis they "could not get". I don't fight the charge because I don't want them to mistreat my pet and afraid of any backlash. Usually, I am told after I am home and they call me to give me the results of the tests. Frankly, I don't have time to get the urine sample & return again for a drop-off, I expect that to be done at the time of my visit. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats and work over 100 hours a week. I don't have time to bring in a urine sample. They have an advertised evening or emergency service, it is always clean and smells great, and the front desk staff and vet techs are usually very nice and engaging. Since they are so close to my home and have been seeing my pets for so long I stay loyal. Love this place and hope they continue their top-notch service to all furs.

They are so kind and welcoming! We love the follow-up they give and the professionalism of the team. The doctor called and gave us an update, and the nurse called the next morning to check on our pup.

Would like to thank Winter Garden Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Katie Benbassat for their service. The procedure to put Cooper down (my dog) and handle the cremation was outstanding. I'm still feeling the loss of Cooper and it will take a long time before I fully recover. Anyone that wants excellent service for their pet should definitely consider WGAH. Thanks so much!

I walked in on a Saturday morning desperately seeking medical attention for our sweet Schnoodle Charlie. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful and were very kind to accept us on a busy day without an appointment. Dr. Andrew Prather and his assistant David took amazing care of Charlie. Dr. Prather called us twice for follow up to make sure our Charlie was ok and provided guidance and support. He is very knowledgeable. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. We are truly grateful.

My review is based on a phone call. I called to ask my dog be seen, because my dog had been ill for the past two weeks, and needed a second opinion. My dog has had tests done, including a distemper test, sent to Georgia, which came back negative, hepatic tests...negative but had an open sore on her side, which needed a doctor to see other than the previous vet; since I felt they were just guessing, and milking the bill. Called this place, because it had good reviews only to get a vet tech tell me that I needed to take my dog to Georgia to have tests done for distemper... DID SHE NOT HERE WHAT I EXPLAINED!! SHE HAD A TEST DONE, AND SENT TO GEORGIA! I live in Florida!! Did she expect me to start driving up to Georgia for what I see as an emergency...? She not once said she would ask the vet his/ her opinión on bringing my dog in, who is not contagious, and it was an open wound she needed to be seen for. I've worked in the medical field, and you're never to make decisions without asking a doctor what he wants to do!I guess this vet tech thinks she's a doctor! I question their reviews with my only call experience. Another place crossed off! Are there any real compassionate vets, and techs left, or is it all about the money!? That's how it feels lately! Horrible experience.

So recently we were referred by our Vet to get XRays done. I contacted them and at first they were very friendly, appeared to be concerned about our pet which is what I would expect. I always try to patronize local businesses. Unfortunately I am writing this review to let everyone to stay away. About 15 minutes into the call, it took a right turn. Basically since I all of a sudden got told they could see our dog as we are not currently a patron. Are you not an Animal Hospital? I have never heard of anything like this before. It was an Emergency and we needed XRays to determine if our pet had pneumonia. Thank goodness for the Windermere Vet Services off 535. They were more than happy to assist us and our pet who was struggling. I would not be doing my part if I didn’t share this poor experience so others can avoid it. Don’t waste your time, if you are currently not a patron, you are treated as a second class citizen.
