From the manager to the legal department to the senior banker, there are obvious signs that the Florida sun has melted their brains. My bank account was incorrectly frozen due to the legal department not comprehending the court order. Then I was told a transfer could not be done over the phone despite being told otherwise. I transferred the funds successfully from my cell phone and I’m going to close all of my accounts.Also, the senior banker asked if my legally incapacitated mother only had signs of dementia in the morning or "Was this an all day thing?" Clearly, she’s dying from dementia hence the court order. Unbelievable.

Looking for a new bank soon. Closing branches, lack of personnel. Pushing only appointments for “next week” is Not really helping managing my existing accounts so Not opening a new one either

Always a huge line/long wait. Never enough tellers.Response to their response: or, here's an idea, you could hire more tellers to actually handle the volume instead of giving complaining customers extra hoops to jump through to save you money on employment expenses.

On Hold for 3 days for Bank of America. 2 times No automatic call back came….today on call for over 1 hour just to get replacement card!!! Run from Bank of America. Horrible Customer Service

This organization has a regular policy of depositing checks into your account, which will be held for up to 10 days without telling anyone in advance. When I deposit a check into the account and then the bank takes it upon themselves to hold the money for 10 days I consider that theft. I consider the policies of this organization to be anti-common sense as the policy to hold funds prevents my business from being able to grow and develop. This institution regularly faces sanctions buns from the government, yet still has the authority to steal my money on a daily basis.

Went into branch to deposit a large CASHIERS CHECK, and add fiance to account. Customer service representative took the check and deposited it, We were given a receipt showing the amount was deposited, but not given a detailed receipt that showed there was any type of hold on the money, nor did he inform us that the funds from a cashiers check would not be immediately available. It was not until I got home and was about to payoff a loan, and looked at my bank of america account online, i realized that the funds from a guaranteed Cashiers Check was not immediately available. I called back and spoke to Alex who originally helped us at the branch, and he told us that it was the policy for cashiers checks to be held until the next day, and could possibly be held up to 4 days. We asked him why were the funds not available when this was a cashiers check? We told him that the payoff for the loan that I was attempting to pay would increase if we waited until the next day, because of the interest. Alex said he would speak to the manager. After being put on hold twice, a woman by the name of Kathy that we assumed was a manager, came on the line and asked me what the problem was. I began to explain to her that I deposited a CASHIERS CHECK which was supposed to be treated like cash. Kathy cut me off to tell me I was wrong, a cashiers check was not cash. She told me that cashiers checks were not immediately available because of the many criminals pulling scams. She continued to cut me off as I spoke, however at this point the issues were why were we not told about cashier check (which we paid for) would not be immediately available,was not addressed, told that there would be any type of hold, or not given a detailed receipt that showed funds would not be available. She then told us that she would have the "manager", Michael call us back. this was after Alex had told us that he was going to put us on the phone with a manger. We received a call approximately 30 minutes later from Michael Drago, who said he was the "financial manager". He proceeded to tell us that there was nothing that could be done and he would talk to Alex about him not telling us that there would be a hold on the money and for not giving us a detail receipt. Michael then said that we had to wait til tomorrow and it should clear. I had a problem with this because this wasn't told to us in the bank and now its cost me and my fiance money and time, with no compensation and now we are contemplating closing our account with bank of america. When we said that, Michael Drago let us know that he would be there at the bank tomorrow, and would look forward to seeing us if thats what we wanted to do!!!! Thats Very Bad Customer Service If You Ask Me...

Depending on the Teller Bank of America takes out $8 to cash a check. The following week a different teller did not charge $8 to cash check from the same company clearly up to the teller you're dealing with whether or not they charge you something ain't right

They really need to have better customer service here. To call the bank is so difficult and when you go into the bank, you have to spend a lot of time just waiting to be helped even for a simple question. I am a very patient person but it’s so hard watching customers be so frustrated. There are a lot of employees but undoubtfully this has been an issue. Hopefully this issue will be addressed soon. Thank you!
