They never have cars available even when you book a reservation and paid for it. Is not fair for customers to wait in line for more than 30 minutes to find out there are no cars. If they don’t have cars, why are they allowing you to make online reservations ? A sign should be at least posted on the door Don’t book at this location!!!!!!

I always rent from this location, simple store, make sure you have everything you need and you will not have any issues, wish cars was better detailed!

Do not rent a truck from this location. Went to pick up the truck I had reserved the truck had flat tires It was the only one they had The back was open and full of leaves they had not inspected or anything prior to pick up to make sure it was ready for use. Tied up my card and prevented me from being able to use it to rent a truck from somewhere else with their security deposit that takes 24 hours to refund after cancellation

The cars are dirty. Very poor job at cleaning and maintaining. The prices varies but the deposit is reasonable and they had vehicles available

My review is based on a whole month of customer service. I am a local resident & rent from Avis/Budget regularly.Since August and especially after Labor Day prices have gone down a lot. At the beginning of the vehicle's inventory has gone up. Winter Haven is in the slow tourist season this makes for higher supply and low demand on vehicles.The lower cost is allowing me to rent more frequently in the weekends.On the Saturday mornings after 11 it's one of the busiest hours and 2 rental agents. Which is sufficient. It's always going to be a wait during the busiest days.On one Saturday morning my reservation was made on line the far the same day. So when I came in I still got a car for the weekend as a walk-in with no reservation. This weekend I got a free upgrade to a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV from a standard Corolla. A few weeks I got the $15.00 fuel charge because the Nissan Rogue has a stupid fuel gauge. My fuel nozzle shut off twice indicating a full tank. I told my agent about the issue on the return. I wasn't mad about for me the free upgrade was world of a price difference.Avis/Budget 2 years ago in September told me get a credit card. This was a life changing event. I did in Feb 2022. The rental car market didn't get better. The selection has improved so much.As for the inside office it isn't dirty it's old white tile flooring with a counter and a couple of chairs. Look your there to get in and out that's all it's for. Your not at an airport with fancy interior designs.I knew my review is long read this. I think the credit score is 670 to rent a vehicle here on a debit card. They can tell you what the actual number is. Also bring your insurance card or use a digital copy. No proof of auto insurance means they will add Supplemental Liability which $15.87.

Customer service needs improvement. No one was at the front counter for about 10 min, and more ppl were coming in with no one to attend to us.

Waited in there 2 hours to pickup the truck while only 1 worker dealt with the same customer. AND got overcharged for the truck. Inside was nasty, truck was nasty left over food INSIDE the truck cabin. Honestly horrible location they WILL scam you for “gas” and “late return” even though WE waited for the truck and filled before dropping off.

Car reeked of Marijuana when we picked it up. Why? Because there was actually Marijuana in the center console. NOT ACCEPTABLE!Then on dropoff, there was a discrepancy between the rental agreement and the inspection form. They tried to charge me an extra $100 for gas. Horrible experience.

Rented and confirmed that this location would have my moving truck. Waited over an hour due to a poorly staffed store. Was told that they do not have my truck and the rental agent threatened to call the police on me for his screw up. Budget has lost my business forever.

Do not rent a vehicle from this location! When I went to drop off my rental car to pick up a truck rental, they did not have the truck I had reserved and told me I could have a smaller one for the same price as the one I reserved. The truck was filthy, had no fuel, and the check engine light was on. We were stuck, we had no way of getting to another location. I just received my receipt for the rental car return and they charged me for fuel even though I returned it full. I have attempted to call them but they won't answer the phone. I wish I had looked them up before I made my reservations. I will NEVER rent from Budget again after this experience.

Horrible service from start to finish, got a surprise smoking charge of $450 a day after the car was dropped off. Nothing pointed out during the walkthrough when I dropped vehicle off.(I don’t smoke) These people that work here are crooks. STAY AWAY if you don’t want to be scammed.

It was pretty quick overall. They are a busy store. I called my insurance to verify my level of coverage for the truck and once that was done it took maybe 10 minutes to finish. Got a new Truck with 9,000 miles on it.

reserved a car online in advance as mine was in the shop. even called an hour ahead to double check they had it ready. i was assured they did. an hour later when i showed up, suddenly they have no cars. i had to call a friend to pick up my children from school since this place screwed up. never again.
