MONEY GREEDY! i called in to order chicken chow mein THINKING i was going to get noodles. The lady proceeded to tell me its has cabbage and vegetables and im still thinking im ordering noodles because noodles does have cabbage and other vegetables in them. i get my order and its just cabbage no noodles , i call the lady back to tell her i misunderstood what i was ordering and asked for a refund she said no she cant do that i then asked her to make the item i was asking for she also said no . i then asked her why she said because she told me that its has vegetables i said to her “i thought you meant the noodles had vegetables in there” she proceeded to say that it is called LO MEIN not CHOW mein as if im supposed to know the difference between the two.. i sent my boyfriend back to exchange the food or to get a refund she still refused to either or and kept being rude and talking over him so then i came to talk to her. Immediately as i enter and tell her that this is not what i meant to order she starts to yell at me saying she not going to do anything and if i want the right item i will have to pay. i was refusing to pay more for an item that i wanted and waste more money. as im explaining to her how what she is doing isnt right she proceeds to ignore me for 15-20 minutes then starts to yell with her husband a couple minutes later im still being ignored by her i take the time to look at the menu and to see the chicken chow mein i order is 7.50.. the chicken LO MEIN is 7.95 so at that point i told her im not going to pay nothing more than 45 cents because that’s the only price difference between the two. i explained to her how if i was at another restaurant and a miscommunication happened they would simply tale it to the back and fix it with no charge or fee and was confused on why she couldn’t do the same.. she tells me the onky way i could get the item that im asking for is if i pay half which would be 3.95.. a very kind person decides to pay the 4.27 that she charged because he witnessed how rude and ignorant she was being. i wish i could add the videos that i took to show you all how foolish this lady was acting i wanted 2 things which came to a total of 18 almost 19 dollars then and additional 4 dollars was added in total i spent 22 almost 23 dollars on TWO items this is a foolish , disrespectful, money hungry restaurant and should be shut down for their actions

When I moved to Florida, it was hard to find a good Chinese restaurant compared to New York but this place taste just as good as any NY spots.Great customer service and the food is delicious and great quality. Highly recommended it to anyone. Little pricey but extremely worth it.

I had the sweet n sour chicken with fried rice and egg roll and crab ragoon. (Take Out)The chicken was ok but the rice was gummy and the egg roll was burnt. The crab lagoons were delicious.

This place is disgusting. Before going in I mentioned to hubby that I'd never had bad Chinese food. Well, I can't say that anymore. If you go in, you'll see chair seats that are old and torn. There's a partition in over half the restaurant that someone was talking/laughing with on the phone. The white refrigerator handle at the counter was black with filth. While waiting for our food, I peeked behind the cooler to see if there were bugs; saw no bugs, but the dirt was piled up. I did not want to order from this place, but we were starving and took a chance on take-out. My brown sauce was as thick as gelatin. I had to add a ton of water to make it thin so it would spread on my dinner. I got chicken and veggies. It was obvious these were not fresh veggies. They looked like frozen veggies from the grocery store. I ate about 1/2 and wouldn't go back there if the food was free. Why the food inspectors hasn't closed this place down is a mystery.

This was the freshest egg roll and Chinese food I’ve ever tasted with no aftertaste of old grease. So good and recommend. Glad I got told about this place! The inside smelled nice and clean too.

Good selection of dishes - the shrimp egg rolls are really good. Tried the egg drop soup (a lot of egg, so tastes more of egg than stock but is still very tasty), beef teriyaki (not bad but had better), chicken curry (plenty of veg and chicken and the sauce is a nice curry, not overly spicy). Upgraded our white rice for pork fried rice - $3 extra but didn't have that much pork in it, lots of small veggies and flavorful but wish there was more considering had a large dinner. Will be back tho to try out the different options. Good to see a quality family-owned Chinese so close to me?

I absolutely love their bourbon chicken! It's not breaded! I put the sauce on the white rice (yum). I've been coming here for years! The service is always great.

I ordered the Happy Family meal, what I got was not a Happy Family, looks like they were cutting corners. I was sooo Disappointed, sad Happy Family Price for leftovers meats they could put in it, it was More Beef/Chicken and Broccoli then Happy Family. That will be my last visit ever to this restaurant, maybe I will try Japanese next time.

I usually look forward to my meal from here, but this time it was horrible. Something has changed drastically. My husbands veg chow mein was more like veg soup. My pork chow mein had a very sour taste. I couldn't eat it. I was afraid it had gone bad or something. The crab rangoons were good but the red sauce to go with them tasted like it was watered down. My husbands spring rolls were ok, and the boneless spare ribs were ok even though the sauce was a bit watered down. All in all it was very disappointing and we threw $40.00 down the garbage disposal.

I don't understand ANY good reviews , must be from the family. I went by the reviews and ordered what I usually do from others exactly. Everything was nasty. Cashews soggy, chicken overcooked, rice hard, egg rolls so hard almost broke teeth. On top of that the rudeness when ordering there then the wait only to find out the price was 60% higher than where we usually go, over all we got 5 different types of foods and 3 different rice and NOTHING was good. Even the "fortune" cookies were stale. At least I know my 2 visits saved me now from going again , oh my 2 visits FIRST and LAST, don't bother here it is the WORST CHINESE TAKE OUT in Winter Haven , should be closed unless you like Overpriced BAD service Horrible food, oh no pics because had to throw out the food

I went there to get a simple order .my greeting was not good. The guy was behind bifold. And she was only one in kitchen it took me 15 minutes or plus for my order. This is why I'm giving it a 1.

just tried this place for the first time because our regular place was closed. if I could give 0 stars, I would. Egg roll was bland & over cooked, thought I was going to break a tooth. Fried rice tasted stale. Sauce on the chicken & broccoli was strangely sour. Sesame chicken had no sesame flavor whatsoever with an odd bitter orange flavor instead. Finally, the white rice actually tasted like jasmine rice. needless to say, we just threw $50 worth of food in the garbage. Don't waste your time or money here. there are better places in Winter Haven for Chinese food.
