The Polk County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency serving Polk County, Florida. Polk County is the fourth largest county in the state with 2,010.2 total square miles, 1,874.9 square miles of which is land area. There are over 550 lakes within the county as well. The Sheriff is an independent constitutional officer and by function is statutorily charged with the responsibility of providing all primary law enforcement services within Polk County. Despite some negative reviews, the Polk County Sheriff's Office receives praise for their professionalism and dedication to the community. Residents appreciate the department's efforts in tackling issues like human trafficking, and they commend Sheriff Grady Judd for his leadership. The community is grateful to have a law enforcement agency that they can trust and respect.

I read about all the arrests in Polk county for human trafficking. I wish broward county had a sheriff that cared as much. He should get a congressional medal not that idiot radio announcer!!!!!Dr Craig Meskin
