The Haley Center is a fantastic place to go. The receptionist, Nurses, and the volunteers make your visit easy and comfortable. Dr. Atkins is an outstanding doctor who really listens to his patients and comes up with a care plan with the patient. The Haley Center is Fantastic place with Kind hearted people who came together to help patients that can't afford a doctor or meds now have a way to stay healthy. Thank God for these wonderful Angels in disguise.🙏🥰

I called them previous day before I visit today they told me over the phone that if you are polk county resident you can come I said okay I'm then I asked for appointment they said just walk inside no appointment necessary .then I visit today lady over the counter told me that we don't taking care of people who haven't seen others doctor first . Then what is meaning of primary care if I have an insurance why would I have to come to your place if you guys are claiming that it's non profit organization helps who has low income or no health insurance this is how you helps people then there are couple of things that I realize either they are just open up and making money out the organization who has trust or faith in these staff who are making money out of ducking a person who comes to their place or second thing I noticed is because of my skin color they are trying to avoid me & making excuses about new patients & everything. My concern is Why are you open up this place if you'll really don't want to helping out people. Something I just want it to tell the people don't waste your time or gas to go this place .

A while back, I took a family member to be seen at Haley Center. They claimed that they were unable to attend my relative because they didn't have any medical history about her. It seen like they were making excuses after excuses not to see her. And another excuse of theres was that my family member didn't speak English. Their supervisor also commented, her words.. (So you come here so that l can give you (my) free medications) As if she were taking it out of her pockets, my understanding is that most of the medication, supplies, there are donations from the community and organizations. They are very rude there, l know not to refer anyone else there anymore.

Caring staff. Excellent Doctors. I spent a week at Winter Haven Hospital and never saw a Dr. Nurses acted like I was a bother. Never got a diagnosis and was released without knowing what they had found after test after test. Haley Center got my records and diagnose me treated me. Got right medicines and explained what was wrong. Answered my questions. Referred me to specialist. On my way to recovery. They were a Blessing.

Kind and Concerned staff members. They help in all kinds of areas. Helped me with Polk Health and since I had surgery 4 weeks ago they help with management of medicine and post surgery recovery.

Excellent. They always serve us very well, with kindness and everyone is very attentive. They listen to those of us who are patients with great care and dedication. One leaves calmly, knowing that they paid attention to our sufferings. Thank you so much.

Had an appt scheduled for 4 pm, to see Dr. Atkins, today for blood work reslts... Drove 20+ minutes to get there in thick traffic, and the doors are locked with a camera and bell to ring, says ring once... I did so, waited for almost 15 minutes and gave up... Looks closed...Very unproffessional, no matter the reason... I know its free care, but geez.. most of us cant afford the gas to be wasting trips that far from home... Extremely frustrated ?*** Note:the sign clearly states the hours as Open till 5 pm

A wonderful place of caring volunteers, truly looking out for their community. It can be a little hard to get started with the services due to all the paperwork and politics, but it is definitely worth it when you need a helping hand!
