Had a simple time dispute on a lift that I had rented. While waiting for 20 min for a manager to come discuss the issue, Ashley Stenson in the rental department in Winter Haven, FL, felt the need to tell me that “Home Depot generates billions of dollars in revenue a quarter and would be fine without my business.” This comment followed a simple, unheated exchange that ended with me stating calmly that I will take my business elsewhere if this issue could not be resolved. Her comment is obviously true, but indicates her obvious lack respect and gross ignorance in regard to dealing with customers. A prime service recovery opportunity was squandered by a selfish, un-tempered emotional reaction.

I will never purchase another item at the Winter Haven FL location, specifically the appliance department. The manager Daphne is horrible. She refuses to answer phone calls or return messages no matter how many times a customer calls. I paid $1122.40 for a washer and dryer that was delivered on 9/25/21. I determined the dryer to be defective less than 12 hours of receiving it. I requested a replacement dryer by leaving a message that very day. I did not want a repaired dryer as I had purchased a new one. I spoke to her on 9/27/21 and told that she had JUST ordered a REPLACEMENT dryer that would be delivered on 10/8/2021. I waited all day at home on 10/8/21 and finally that afternoon, YOU GUESSED IT, a repair person arrived! I was told that a replacement was never ordered! I have spoken to Brian the store manager and I'm losing faith in him as well. I was told on 10/8 that Daphne had 72 hours to take care of the dryer replacement and guess what AGAIN, Daphne had an emergency and left the store early today and Brian is not in the office today either! I am so disappointed in Home Depot who I have made large purchases from over several years. Daphne should be held accountable. She has done nothing but LIE about everything regarding my purchase. I think Home Depot should definitely try to make this right and hold Daphne accountable as a manager should be held accountable. They should not only replace the dryer TODAY but reimburse the purchase price! Do better Home Depot!

Big HD fan EXCEPT rental, waited an hour to be taken care of , they canceled my reservation, another half an hour to clear it up. Not a good day..seemed like alot of confusion.

We just left our cart with items in it at this Home Depot and I will tell you why. My husband was being compliant and wearing a mask as the store requests. Purchased 98 bags of rubber mulch. They did a price match with Lowe's. They said it did not come in on their truck so they just refunded my money. I was willing to wait for it too come in but they did not want to keep the sale open not knowing when it would come in. They did not offer to guarantee me the same low price as Lowe's was offering either. What an inconvenience for me. I am now an official Lowe's customer. I will never shop Home Depot again plus I will tell all my friends and family to take their business els-ware. Home Depot here is what you can do to improve: If you agree to something stick with it. Your customer is the most important part of being successful. Make it happen for your customer. Good customer service will go a long way.
