Can't believe I am just now getting around to leaving a review for Fineline. We have used them for so many of our business needs. We were their 'business neighbor' next door for many years and these people came through every time. Always helping us out and doing a great job. They are super reasonably priced and we even used them to do our signage in front of our store. Honestly, we should have left this review long ago, not after we moved! My husband and I were working on our wedding invitations this past summer (August 2023). We had olive green envelopes and thought white ink would show up better on them compared to black ink. In our search for white ink printers in the area, we found Fineline as the only company to have a white ink printer. We called them, and asked if they could have our envelopes done the next day. Yes, we were working on a tight timeline, but all deadline requests were communicated clearly every time we talked to an associate. Fineline told us know they could get our envelopes done next day (Friday), or the following Monday, and we were fine with that. We took our sample envelope to Fineline to show them exactly what we wanted, where we needed the print on the envelopes, the font needed for the text, and EVERY other detail. With our short timeline we wanted the associates to have every detail necessary to reduce the possibility of mistakes and made sure to cover everything with them in person when we brought the sample.When we went into the store, we asked for the exact format they wanted our mailing list to be. They told us “however you do it is fine because we make sure it’s correct on our end before sending it through the printer”. We pushed back for a more definitive answer, because like aforementioned, we wanted to have all of our ducks in a row to make sure we were doing everything possible to mitigate mistakes and delays. They then told us to put all fields of the address in separate columns on Excel. So we did, and we felt very comfortable with them at this point because they assured us they would edit the Excel sheet in the event it didn’t work on their end. After making and bringing them a physical example, we sent an email with a TON of details including the exact font style (with the font attached to the email for them to use), placement, etc.The next day, we got the proof for our envelopes. It was unbelievable how incorrect so many parts of the proof were. They used the wrong font on the envelopes, they had the wrong street name for the return address. (Our specific street name is very uncommon, so it’s victim to auto correct almost every time). They should have absolutely checked to see if the spelling was correct before they sent us a proof. The requested font usage was incorrect. On top of this, both the formatting of the return address as well as the delivery address was completely wrong. The correct formatting, as anyone who has written an envelope correctly, knows, is:Name123 StreetCity, State ZipThe formatting they had on the proof for both the deliver to and return address on the envelope was:Name123 StreetCity, State, ZipI understand there are people who do not know how to address an envelope correctly or know what it is supposed to look like when it is correctly done. However, this is a PRINTING company. Of all industries, people who work at a printing company should know how to address an envelope.We called the store immediately after seeing our proof and cancelled our project. As someone who was stressed enough planning a wedding, I didn’t want to add any more stress with incorrect envelopes from their printer. Our envelopes were special ordered online and we ordered an overage for any mistakes, but not double what we needed. There was no way, at this point we trusted them to handle our wedding invitation project. My husband’s mom drove to the storefront to pick up our envelopes. When she visited, the store associate gave her a story of how we were the ones to do the spreadsheet formatting incorrectly and that our timeline expectations were unrealistic. Like I said, every conversation we had with Fineline clearly stated timeline expectations and they told us every time they would be able to meet it that day, or the Monday following, which we were fine with.It seems like the other reviews Fineline has are stellar, and I’m so happy for those customers, but I think it’s important to know the experience we had and why we will not look into using Fineline for any of our future projects.

Words cannot adequately express the gratitude I will forever have forJessica and her team of professionals. My lifetime best friend, Carol, passed away and on a Friday of a holiday weekend her husband called me at the last minute in need of memorial service brochures! I called Jessica at the Winter Park store and to say that Jessica and her team went above and beyond the norm is a gross understatement. They prepared the most beautiful brochures and worked with me to make them perfect for Carol, adding pictures and poems at the last minute!! To top it all off, in the midst of grief and chaos, time got away from me and when I looked at the clock and realized no one had yet to pick up the brochures and the store had just closed. I called Jessica in pure panic and shie had one of her staff meet my daughter at the store and we had our brochures!! I will never forget Jessica and her many kindnesses.
