“My family had prearranged a direct cremation service with Victor Lopez at Baldwin Brothers. We met with Mr. Dan Enea when the death occurred as he was filling in as the funeral director. Victor assured us we would be in good hands. But little did we know, we were in the best hands when we met with Dan. We previously arranged a direct cremation, but Dan explained the option of having a private goodbye beforehand (which we ended up doing). My father in law looked like he was sleeping and my mother in law will now always have that final picture of peace in her mind due to his recommendation to spend some final moments with him prior to cremation. While we declined a number of offerings he presented, we were grateful to have known what our options were. We thank Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation, Dan and Victor, from the bottom of our hearts.”

“it took me a few days to try to write something in this review because there is so much that happened surrounding my father finally being at peace. I couldn't just leave a " great service " comment or review. this is from my heart. I would like to tell anyone who is looking for a funeral home that Mr Byrd and his assistant are the most caring people with genuine hearts and compassion. I decided to transfer my father from one funeral home to Celebrations of life because of some family issues and disputes that unfortunately sometimes come up when a loved one passes away. I did exactly what my father would have wanted including supporting a black owned business. I called and asked if they could help me with my situation. Mr. Byrd returned my call the next day and transferred my dad that same day from a funeral home that had him for more than 30 days and also offered to assist with anything else I may need for my father to be at peace . when he retrieved my father he began the process that should have been done weeks before. The professionalism is 5 stars as well as their hearts.”
