You will not find a more honest mechanic in town. My grandparents were the ones who first recommended them to me over 10 years ago, and we have been coming ever since. They might be “old fashioned” without a website or the ability to make an appointment online, but they are extremely kind and honest. Unlike most places these days, they will not prematurely recommend a service or repair until you have absolutely worn down your car parts—allowing you to get the most out of the vehicle. I recommend them to all my friends in need of a service or repair.

This is my mechanic forever now. I was referred by a friend who’s been coming for years. Friendly, honest, fair price service & got my car back sooner than anticipated. They even went an extra mile to put a couple screws in my damaged bumper to hold it together. So appreciate that. Best experience I could’ve asked for! :)

AMAZING!! I am so impressed with this small, family-owned company. After receiving a pricey quote (for what I now know was an incorrect diagnosis) from another company ($1200), I was desperately seeking a second opinion. I took my car to General Automotive and they were able to not only correctly repair my issue for a substantially lower rate (<$200), but also SHOW me that my coolant reservoir was cracked. How many companies show this much integrity in their work nowadays? AND they called me back after their initial quote stating their repairs did not take as long as originally intended for labor time and dropped my quote down another $30-40.I am sincerely impressed with this company, I will be referring all of my family/friends here. General Automotive, you are the best!!

My family has been coming here for 30+ years, and we have never thought about going anywhere else. They will treat you fairly, price you reasonably, and do great work.
