Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review due to a disappointing experience at this salon. From the start, I was uncomfortable with the lack of transparency around pricing. I called in advance to get a quote or even a general price range for smedium boho knotless braids so I could plan and budget properly, but was told that prices are only discussed upon arrival. While I found this concerning, I moved forward because I had an upcoming trip and really liked the work I saw on Instagram.
I arrived at 1:55 p.m. for my 2 p.m. appointment, only to be told that my stylist wasn’t there yet. I showed an inspiration photo and was quoted over $600—which was way outside my budget. I explained that I was hoping to spend around $300, and after some back and forth, the only alternatives I was offered were large braids or a style with no boho hair at all. I left feeling completely defeated, as all of this could have been avoided if I had been given a general quote beforehand.
I even referenced styles from the stylist’s own IG page and asked how much those clients were charged, but was still refused any kind of estimate. By 2:40 p.m., the stylist still hadn’t arrived, so I ultimately walked out—losing my $50 deposit in the process.
This experience was incredibly frustrating and, in my opinion, reflects poor business practices. Clients deserve transparency so they can arrive prepared—not surprised with last-minute pricing that forces them to change their plans entirely. Good luck..

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!
Wish I would have read these reviews before booking. She quoted me a price RANGE of $150-180 after a deposit for med to large knotless braids to mid back over the phone and stated that she gives a range because she wants to see your hair before finalizing which is understandable. I asked if the hair was included and she said yes. I paid my $50 deposit to book my appointment for 10am on Sat. On Sat she called me at 9:18am asking me to come later because she had overslept. I understand that things happen so I agreed. I get to my appointment and see 1 braider with 2 clients… she asked me what I wanted, I told her AGAIN and she tells me that I need longer hair because mid back is childish. She then quotes me $550. I explained that was out of my budget and found a style that was within my budget she then told me that for that style the hair wasn’t included and it would be an additional $60 for the hair. So I did NOT get my braided, missed my event for the following day and she has NOT refunded my deposit! AVOID THE HEADACHE and book with someone genuine. She then claim she told me $180 was the starting price, which was a lie and why would you say $180 for a $550 style?!? Again DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!

I've gotten my hair braided by more people than I can count all over America, and Sana's work has BY FAR been the best. Sana has been doing hair for decades, and she has really mastered her craft.
I got butt-length small boho knotless braids and they are NOT tight, itchy, heavy, or painful AT ALL- as someone who's experienced traction alopecia, this was the first time I've gotten braids and not had tiny bumps along my hairline from tightness.
She used very minimal gel, and the braids are extremely neat- I appreciate this SO MUCH because I hate leaving the salon with a shiny scalp from excess gel.
Apart from her fantastic work, Sana is a wonderful woman who loves taking care of her customers and she made me SO comfortable and happy. If you are in the Orlando area and want to get your hair braided for vacation, birthday, special event, or just for fun- you need to see Sana! This is REAL AUTHENTIC African hair braiding, not a random social media hairstylist!!! 🌍🩷💆🏾♀️

Sana Was Fantastic! I was on a layover in Florida and Wanted Tree braids done & she was able to get me in that day! My hair is Flawless & she worked fast & was very efficient!! I Recommend her 100%

I am finally getting a chance to write a review. I got my hair done several months ago several months and it still looks great! Sana is the best !!!! She does great work!!! Folks please remember you have to pay for quality. Because when someone is performing quality work, it takes time! I absolutely love this shop! They treated me like family!! Tony
