I ordered a refill of my prescription on Friday and was told it’d be ready Saturday. I got no notice or updates from the pharmacy and I’m still waiting for my prescription (it’s Monday). I have no more of my meds and they hope it’s coming today but it’ll be after 3 pm and I’m supposed to take it every morning. What kind of pharmacy can’t fulfill prescription orders!? So disappointed and will be switching.

Hands down best grocery store chain in Florida. BOGO every week that changes every Thursday. If any item rings up wrong you get that item for free. Rain checks and price matching is also a plus! Kids get a free cookie every visit in the bakery...(and big kids too). Everyone is notoriously friendly and helpful. This grocery store is ALWAYS pristine in cleanliness. Great vibe

So this isn't my usual publix but it was on my way home the other day running errands. I went to the deli to get prosciutto and cheese. It wasn't very busy and I wasn't in a rush. A woman helped me - it seemed she was new maybe and very friendly. I won't disclose the name bc this falls on management and lack of training, not on her. As I'm ordering from her from one moment to the next all I hear is her name being yelled and it's the manager (Jenn) standing on the other end of the deli behind counter just giving her the worst look while snipping at her. Not only that but she seemed to be on break eating a bagel falling apart in her hand and her hair no net just walking by with the worst attitude. I was inches away from the manager and it was ridiculously unprofessional. She left the woman flustered and she made me extremely uncomfortable. As for the woman helping me it seemed the Manager was rushing her or something and my pound of prosciutto was completely stuck together with no sheet separations so it was completely stuck together and impossible to pull apart properly, and there were small pieces of PLASTIC in it... I have attached some photos of the last prosciutto portion and the continuous slivers of plastic I found throughout. This is by far the worst experience I've had at any Publix. I'm thankful I felt the plastic as I first tried it and didn't serve it to others.

This particular Publix is located on the corner on University and Goldenrod and is in a shopping plaza, so parking is not too much of an issue. It is an older style Publix and could do with a face-lift, but the customer service here is what we have come to expect from Publix. Again, this is an older Publix, but it has the usual cool enough supermarket vibe that if you have ever been in a Publix supermarket, you know the ambiance well enough. And with any Publix, we cannot fail to mention their subs, affectionately known as Pub Subs. My go-to is probably their Italian sub, though I do switch it up here and there. It does somehow seem wrong to say that Publix has some of the best subs in the sunny state of Florida, especially when I come from New Jersey, where we are pretty serious about our subs and other sandwiches. It might feel wrong to say a supermarket has some of the best subs in the Sunshine State, but it is true enough. We also must remember that Publix has regular BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, so keep an eye for them. The only negative that I could find with here is that they don't have enough of those shopping cart corrals in the parking lot. With great deals, incredible customer service and we can't forget those Pub Subs, Publix is a great supermarket option. I will give it five stars and I woukd recommend here.

First. Everytime I go to pick up cold cuts I ask thin cut, they show me a sample but the the rest is thick sliced. In some occasions I get bacon and for some reason it is closed sealed but when I get home the plastic is open. I feel the seal is not staying closed.Lastly food isles need to have all products not repeated in another isle. Confusing the vendors. The people who work there should be able to know where products are. Not experienced enough.

I am deeply disappointed that Publix has decided to mimic Walmart and Target and shove self-checkout down our throats. Everyday this week there have been one MAYBE two checkout lines open, but they leave a person to handle the self-checkout line. "Where shopping is a pleasure," unless you want to see workers get hours. I mentioned my feelings to a cashier who shall remain nameless. Their answer to my complaint was, "they didn't ask us what we thought." There's a reason I don't grocery shop at Walmart or Target. But, since their prices are better and I can expect the same customer service, I suppose I'll start.

UPDATE AS OF 1/12/23The pharmacist’s name is Kimberlee and caught them in so many lies today regarding a simple vitamin B12 prescription. Literally delayed my care and treatment over her pettiness. Went across the street to CVS and they thought it was a joke and said they get this all the time with people who went to Publix first. STAY FAR AWAY!!!THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! Do not get your scripts filled here unless you want to deal with the pharmacist holding up your scripts and delaying your treatment over the pettiest things possible. She really is the worst!! I am vitamin D and B12 deficient and that’s all I’m trying to get but because my B12 script didn’t state how to administer the shot they refused to fill it…AND DIDN’T EVEN TELL ME!! I had to call myself to find out this was even an issue since I was originally told the delay was due to the medication being out of stock. Then after explaining the way the doctor told me to administer the shot suddenly there was another issue with the script that I know was a complete lie. So which is it?! The lack of how to administer or the quantity issue?! Always seems to be a problem with how doctors right scripts and their willingness…well particularly one pharmacist, who she always makes a stink if it’s not perfect. THIS IS VITAMIN B12!!! You would think I was fighting to get opioids or something with the way they are treating this and me. Never come here!!! WORST PHARMACY EVER!!! It might be better if they got rid of their useless pharmacist.

Would rate a zero but can’t. Didn’t fill script due to a missing “code” or “number” on the tiny corner of script. Went ACROSS THE STREET TO CVS. Was ready in 25 min. Save your time, go elsewhere

I love this Publix, especially because is the closest one. But today I am disappointed. I went to get a birthday cake as usual, and I only asked for a number 22 on the cake and this girl literally put no effort into it. So disappointed.

the people at the tell are sloppy with making your sandwiches like they can’t be bothered. this wasn’t always the case when Infirst moved to the neighborhood they had excellent staff. i feel like it all stems from the manager lady she is rude acts like your bothering her for her to help. i won’t even get a sub when she is at the sub station. She does not encompass what publix strives for. She is also making it so the whole department are her little evil minions.

My experience at Publix Super Market at University Plaza is an experience I have difficulty communicating. It’s MAGICAL, CALMING, EXHILARATING, PLEASURABLE AND RELAXING. THE MANAGERS (MR MIKE, MS AMANDA, MS KIM AND MS SAMANTHA) ARE KEENLY ATTENTIVE AND AWARE IF THEIR CUSTOMER’S NEEDS. I TRY TO ENJOY THIS TIME EXHILARATING EXPERIENCE DAILY OR AT LEAST SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK!!!!! THE PHARMACY STAFF TAKES CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ANOTHER LEVEL. THEY ASSURE ME I AM GREAT HANDS. THEY ADD

This is the only location (Publix- 4000 N Goldenrod Rd), that I've had an issue regarding the workers. One young lady at the register didn't acknowledge me when I said hello. During the checkout process she never said anything, but the gentleman behind me, I heard her saying hi to him. Today I saw her again & decided to give it another try. I said good morning as I approached her, (she was standing at the end of the register isle while on her phone). She didn't respond & rolled her head as she walked back to her register. I walked away at that point & checked out at another register. Ridiculous!
