It is not often that I leave a review, but when I do it is typically customer service related that is 2-3 standard deviations from the expected norm - in either direction. Of note, I have a new Yelp account as my email changed since moving to Florida (so this is only my second review from this account).This afternoon I visited the RH in Winter Park - located 1/2 mile from my highly priced-per-square foot new construction home. I went with the specific intent to view their options for heavy Belgium Linen drapery fabric for custom drapes for a primary bedroom multi-window wall that is substantial in length and will be on a motorized track. I had some general measurements to consider. My boyfriend and I were greeted upon entry. This was a plus given that several past reviewers provided feedback on being ignored, especially if causally dressed. We certainly fit that category. Of importance in my opinion, we are African American. I mention this given my lived experiences as a woman of color and many experiences with consumer racial profiling. The greeter, who did not introduce herself but was pleasant enough, escorted us to the back of the store where the drapery was located. She pointed out several linen options, including Belgium linens, but claimed that the store did not have swatches of the material, nor could she provide any estimates of cost until someone came to my home to measure. After questioning this, particularly given the price point, she said "that would be about $5,000". I asked her how she knew that number and she responded "based on my years as a designer". When I pressed the swatch issue, she then replied "we may have a swatch for the ivory color". Minutes later she brought 8 separate swatches with a variety of colors for different fabrics and then walked away. At this point, another person (who I assumed to be a manager or more experienced person) came back with her to explain that the swatch options are limited and they have been unable to obtain more perhaps based on a change at the corporate level. This second person (who I later found out was the design assistant Tiffany) then asked for the sizing I thought I would need and the initial person (who I later found out was an actual store designer named Gabby) plugged in my dimensions and the computer spit out a price just over $3,000. I then compared the swatches provided with the actual drapes that were displayed. The designed tried to convince me that the one swatch that clearly did not match the Belgium Linen was actually correct. It was the design assistant who agreed with me that they were not the same and subsequently removed the wrong label on the hanging drapery. At this point, it was clearly time for me to leave. I had experienced enough micro-aggressions for one afternoon. Gabby, as someone who has unfortunately experienced bias in shopping at high priced stores, please don't underestimate the spending power of someone based on their appearance. Certainly don't misrepresent facts about the inability to provide swatches (even if to a limited degree) or take the time to look something up. Customers should not have to prove they can afford to shop at RH, or any store for that matter. Not only were you dismissive, you insulted my intelligence. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star because I found Tiffany to be knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and helpful. I may have added another star to bring things up to 3 had Gabby apologized for providing false information about swatches, an erroneous pricing quote "based on her years as a designer", and her initial unwillingness to provide pricing estimates. I chose to be very detailed in this review because in order to improve your services - which based on other reviews should be an enhanced focus for your WP store- you need to know where you fell short. Certainly RH, you can and should do much better.

My husband and I building a new home and decided to pop in here for inspiration. We definitely were not dressed nicely from doing errands; however, that made no difference. Derek greeted us warmly, answered tons of questions, and explained their member program which we will join. So happy for the great service and inspiration and excited to work with them on our new home. I’ll update the review during the process.

I recently furnished my house using RH. Cara H, Barbara and the team were awesome. They designed the project, came out to the house to look at the site, and came out to quarterback the installation. They have gone above and beyond to make a difficult job easy…I highly recommend them and RH….5 Stars all day

RH Winter Park helped me with the entire interior design of my new home in Santa Fe - furnishings, lighting, linens, rugs, art and accessories. Cara Houston’s design services were thoughtful, original and creative while maintaining the integrity of the southwest landscape and style. RH also came to Santa Fe with a fabulous team to install everything. It was incredibly organized and effortless. The entire process from design services to delivery and install was first class! My new home is beautiful and I highly recommend RH!

So my husband and I went to this specific store closest to our home which was an hour and a half drive, to order an entire new bedroom set and a couch. We were so excited and have been waiting for almost a year to do so. Never stepped foot in a showroom of thiers before! As soon as we walked in there were 2 "consultants" at the main table, one working with clients. We walked around to glance everything over while waiting for someone to take care of us. We were there for a total of 20 minutes. Not 1 single time did either of these women greet us, tell us it would be a while, offer any help, NOTHING!! FINALLY my husband had to ask for a wood sample color so we could just order online. So disappointing for a company that wants over $10,000 for a bedroom such to hire such a pathetic staff! I do interior design for a living and I would NEVER recommend or send my clients here ever again! I had no idea how my clients were being treated! Just pathetic!

I also went in there and the employees were too busy chatting with each other than to offer any help. Most didn't make eye contact. One lady was on the phone and said a kind hi, but other than her no one else spoke to me. I won't be back and will be taking my business else where. I've learned not to spend my money in places like this.

Obsessed with this store and the furniture. I wish I could furnish my whole home here! We did end up ordering a few items and I love their quality! Goisha is amazing and always so welcoming. I recommend this store 100%!

This was the worst client service experience I have ever encountered. I walked in wanting to purchase decor for my new home. Yet every associate in the gallery walked right past me without greeting, making eye contact and not even a gesture of welcome. As a client, that was very uncomfortable for me and also infuriating. The way associates at RH Winter Park behaved was completely unprofessional. The gallery was also very unkept and sloppy. I needed multiple items for my new home and I ended up ordering them online on my own because I was so disgusted with how the associates behaved. Completely ignored is how clients should be treated at RH? Is this what the Winter Park Gallery treats clients? I am disappointed at how I was treated and will never return to this gallery. Standoffish and unprofessional is how I describe Winter Park RH. So disappointing. A simple “hello” would have sufficed but they were too into themselves to do even that. Again, standoffish and repulsive.

I had an amazing experience ordering furniture with Gosia. She was very accommodating to make an appointment with, she was able to see me the same day I called! Her recommendations were perfect, she has amazing taste. I also did not feel rushed at all. There were a lot of decisions to make specifically regarding the couch and she made sure to walk me through every step taking me to couches on the showroom to demonstrate certain aspects we had to select on my couch. She made it very easy to know what measurements she needed from me and we were able to place my entire order within 24 hours. Amazing experience highly recommend Gosia for your experience!

I bought a new home and decided to refurnish all of it. I have shopped at several high end stores and found HR to be the best for standing behind their product. They sell quality items and care about customer satisfaction. I have been very pleased. I’ve been able to exchange items I didn’t feel worked in my home at no additional cost. They also helped with decorating at no additional cost!

Just left and had a pretty negative experience. We felt actively ignored by all the sales associates on the floor. No one greeted us or offered to help us find what we were looking for when we entered. After wandering around the store for about 15 minutes, while 6 of the 8 associates sat at tables in the middle of the room on their computers talking with eachother and ignoring all the customers around them, someone finally said "hi, how are you?" Before going back to her conversation. We asked her about a particular couch we found online that we wanted to look at and she said they didn't have that particular variation in gallery but there was a version over there by the front for us to sit and try. That was it. Didn't attempt to walk us over or talk to us about options, variations etc. At that point we decided to leave because we felt so unwelcome.If you're going to sell anything, let alone expensive furniture, even if you're across from a school and get a lot of window shoppers, don't make people feel ignored.

RH Winter Park is the Four Seasons of furniture retailers. I have been to the West Palm location and though it is quite stunning and opulent the service and team at Winter Park is far more exceptional, professional and experienced. They are incredibly welcoming and didn’t care if I was spending a couple hundred or tens of thousands of dollars. Sierra & Alessia have been very instrumental in helping me achieve the vision I had when I began redesigning my great room. I am beyond happy not only with the service but with the quality of furniture and decor. My project has been a work in progress and having the flexibility to exchange items that are not custom has saved me thousands of dollars and sleepless nights. Thank you RH Winter Park for exceeding my expectations and helping make my home my dream space.
