“The director, Jessica, really turned this place around. I’m editing my review from a year ago of 1 star to 4 stars because Jessica is amazing! She really cares and got rid of the rotten employees which now made this place do a complete 180.
A year ago, my child was bitten down both her arms in one incident with multiple bites.. and a 2nd incident not too long after, she had been bitten on her cheek & had a bruise on her face for weeks.
There was an obvious lack of supervision that I was paying $320 a week for and she only attended daycare 3 times a week max.
I was going to change daycares because I didn’t have peace leaving her there a year ago while I had to work. I’m glad I didn’t, because I’ve learned the problem was a specific employee that worked there, that no longer does.
When I’d walk in she’d be whispering with another teacher in her their class leaving all the kids in her class unattended when she was the only teacher there, and only ran back to her class when the director, Jessica, would walk in.
I have witnessed her treating kids so poorly, in a way that I would be pissed, if she ever did to my mine. She honestly seemed to dislike children and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my child with her at all.
She always talked down to them (1-2 year olds) and had a hateful facial expression with her eyebrows down but would try to smile in the parent’s face.
I would randomly leave work early some days and when it was unexpected and got to see her off guard and voiced my concerns.
Thankfully she no longer works there and since then Jessica has hired multiple staff members, so far all have been good quality employees that I feel are safe and most importantly genuine with the children.
Jessica is obviously always very busy and multitasking & juggling everything at once but always does it with a smile, and genuine care for the kids.
Jessica has made a huge difference and turned this place around for the better and goes above and beyond.
Lauren, and Dasia are also great! I know it’s not easy to do what they do but they have fun with the kids while doing it. I can’t remember all the names of the teachers but honestly she has a great team now and I feel comfortable leaving my child there when I work in office, knowing they are all genuine good people, and my child is safe.
For me that’s priceless, and why I had turned down another daycare I had been on a waiting list for over a year and it was less expensive, closer to home/work and would not charge you for weeks your child doesn’t go into daycare or holidays that it is closed but you still had to work.
Reason why I’m giving 4 and not 5 stars is because it is overpriced and still makes you pay when it’s closed & not providing the service you are paying for & working in healthcare there are days I have to work and would leave me scrambling.
They say it is to keep “their spot”.
There is also a registration fee of $150 every academic year, not just enrollment. Which I asked and was told it’s also to “keep their spot” .. and now there is a summer fee of $60.
Other than that, overall I’ve learned it’s the staff/team members that work there that create the experience for the children and determine whether parents have peace of mind & I’m now grateful!”
“We have two children at HBA and couldn’t be happier with their time there. One reason we chose HBA is because on our pre-enrollment visit, every kid we saw was happy and smiling. That assessment has proven to be correct. From the very first day leaving them with Ms Litza to their time in Ms Yuli, Ms Vaneza and Ms Mari’s classes, our kids have been loved and felt safe. We’ve seen tremendous development from them and that’s largely due to the amazing staff at HBA!”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this preschool. The teachers and staff are truly amazing. They are so warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. From the moment you walk in, there’s such a happy, magical feeling that you don’t find everywhere.
My son gets to do so many hands-on activities every day, and it’s clear how much thought and effort goes into creating a fun, engaging environment for the kids.
The communication is also excellent, which gives me so much peace of mind as a parent. You can really tell that everyone here cares deeply about the children and their families. We feel so lucky to be part of this school!”
“Kiddie Academy of Winter Park has been an absolute blessing for our family! From the moment we first visited, we felt welcomed and reassured by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the entire team.
The management is truly exceptional—organized, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure both parents and children feel supported and valued. They create a safe, nurturing environment that is clearly built on a foundation of love and respect for every child.
The teachers are nothing short of amazing. Their passion, patience, and dedication shine through in everything they do. Every day, they greet the children with a smile and create engaging, educational activities that help them grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Most importantly, my child absolutely loves going to school. Seeing their excitement each morning and hearing about their day with such joy is the best confirmation that we made the right choice. Kiddie Academy of Winter Park is more than just a school—it's a community that truly cares.
We’re so grateful to be a part of it!”

“This school year at Winter Park Day Nursery was truly a meaningful experience for our family. Like many parents, we visited several VPK programs before making a decision, but from the moment we walked into WPDN, something felt different in a positive way. Looking back now, we are very thankful we chose this school for Aaron.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Kaliq and Ms. Paige for the energy, patience, and genuine care they brought into the classroom every day. Their impact went far beyond academics. Over the year, we watched Aaron become more confident, independent, social, and excited to learn new things.
Because Aaron grows up speaking multiple languages, we were especially happy to see how naturally his English communication improved while still feeling comfortable expressing himself. It was incredible to watch him come home proud of spelling words, solving math problems, creating detailed drawings, and building imaginative creations with magnetic tiles. More importantly, he built friendships and learned how to confidently interact with children from different backgrounds.
One thing that makes WPDN stand out is that it never feels like “just a school.” There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes both children and parents feel supported. As parents, there is nothing more comforting than knowing your child is entering a place where they are genuinely cared for each day.
We are sincerely grateful for this memorable year and highly recommend Winter Park Day Nursery to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging, and supportive learning environment.”
“This place has prepared my children for the school year! I was afraid they wouldn’t be ready for kindergarten but Childtime really showed us that they can teach. Super grateful!”
