I have to say, I deal with a lot of banks and have dealt with many more over the years. Since their creation after taking over BB&T & Suntrust, Truist really is a solid bank. Every branch I have visited since their creation is helpful, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like you’re a customer. This is a lot more than I can say for many of the other big banks. I feel like I get the hometown bank relationship with the big bank perks. If you’re considering a bank, I recommend giving Truist a strong consideration.

I went in to Truist after work at 3:30pm. I opened a checking and savings account in 20 minutes! That means I left the bank at 3:50. I think that’s impressive. Alex was phenomenal. I was told to sit and wait and someone would be with me. It took Alex one minute, if that, to address my needs. I would recommend Alex for a great conversation and a great experience!

Absolutely the worst. Someone in India will take your call and tell you there’s nothing they can do. Meanwhile you have plenty of money in your account and the bank will tell you there’s fraud every other time you use your debit card. Also, you can only pull out as much money as the bank will allow you to - which is minimal. It’s my money not theirs! Truist is the communist of banks. Out of all the terrible corporations and banks out there this is the worst. Run away!!

First time in months that they need to call my job to “confirm” that the check was real when I’ve done this for more than 6 months and no one has never told me that before. I am latino so I am guessing this was all because discrimination. I do not remember her name but it was a young woman and she was working at this time today. Incredible way to loose a customer.

Horrible customer service… Whenever you walk in they tell you for everything you need to work with a banker and to have a seat someone will be with you. Then you sit and wait as everyone Walks past gets coffee and jokes with other employees … avoid this branch at all cost.

This branch has to be the worst Truist. I visited the location 4x to handle a simple task, turned away all 4 times. Then when I finally get someone, she told me to call her and leave a voicemail. That message wasn't returned until 3 weeks later. This bank won't last long.

This is a mixed review (average three stars) as the post-merge period has been (unnecessarily) painful for former SunTrust customers. One star for the way some things were handled. However, FIVE STARS for Carlos Leon. He is early in his career and has had to take on some tough cases (and customers). He was very responsive to me and replied to my emails within 24 hours, if not the same day. I highly recommend Carlos for assistance with any banking needs!

This trash company offers no way to unsubscribe from their emails. I don’t know how they got my email in the first place. Even searching “unsubscribe email” on their own website yields nothing. After reading the horrible customer service reviews from other people, I’m not even going to waste my time calling.

Got to the bank right after work (4:50) and waited at one of the “open” drive thru deposit stations. I watched 2 people drive up next to me and get helped. By this time, it was 5:05 and the attendant told me that they could not help me and that the bank was closed.
