Patrick and his staff at this location are top knotch when it comes to welcoming guests, service, explaining the what, how and why to maintaining a pool as well as making sure you purchase ONLY what you need to keep and maintain a pool. All of the staff here are excellent and I would be proud to have my employees perform at this caliber of service. I am new to this area and this pinch a penny has a brand new loyal customer.

I was absolutely lied to about a pump that I purchased from this store. I was told that if I paid more for the item for them to install it that they would warrenty it for 3 years. Sounded good as I used a warranty from a different pinch a penny store and the item was promptly replaced, no questions asked. The pump I purchsed from this store failed after two years. I called the store and was told they will not back up the warrenty and would not fix the pump with no explanation and told me to call Hayward to see if they would fix it. Now the process is way to complicated and will now have to purchase a new pump elsewhere. I would not spend another penny in this store. I don't trust anything they say.

The new staff team has been an amazing improvement. All are kind and patient. I had an issue with my pool turning green for the longest time and they figured out that I had phosphates in my pool. They all know what they’re talking about, especially the managers!

I walked out to find my pool green. Turns out pinch a Penney abruptly suspended my service due to staffing cuts. One month ago! They sent an obscure email about it and never followed up because the guy that sent the email quit. Sounds like this place has lots of staffing issues and very poor service. I even asked if I could get one last service while I looked for another provider. No can do.Disappointing. Unprofessional. Shoddy.Don’t waste your time working with them.

I have shopped there for years. Every 10 Chlorine refills you get one free. This time it's "oh, I'm sorry, your coupon has expired. I know I'm only one little customer but I am truly sorry ? but my shopping at your store, much like my coupon, has just expired!

Pinch-A-Penny (Store #084)After pool service for more than a year, I regret ever trusting this store with my pool service. The unprofessional field technician consistently displayed the lack of basic knowledge pertaining to his craft. The field service team lacked training, technical ability, and general trouble-shooting skills which cost me time and money on a regular basis. The agreed upon weekly service items were never completed consistently, and the technician spent more time playing loud music in the Pinch-A-Penny vehicle in front of my home than he did servicing my pool. The technician generally started the service at the pool by playing on his phone for 20-30 minutes and then proceeded to display rants with profanity if there was more pool vacuuming required than he felt was necessary. The tiles on the pool were never scrubbed, the pump basket was neglected for weeks, and at one point for almost a month, automatic pool cleaner was never checked. I had to bring the cleaner to the store for service after the technician advised me that the cleaner was functioning properly. The technician was unable to properly backflush my filter and as a result contaminated my pool with DE filter media. If/when the technician did empty any filters and/or baskets, he would drop the debris right beside my pool pump leaving it for me to clean-up.When calling the store to discuss issues, there was always an excuse, absolutely zero ownership and/or accountability, no customer service skills in the areas of field service. While discussing the expectations of quality field service with the technician, I was advised that he wasn’t trained to perform basic trouble-shooting and that wasn’t his job on more than a few occasions. Simple tasks such as valve manipulations and pump lid removal were a challenge for Pinch-A-Penny (Store #084) which required a follow-up on my part, costing me time, for a service I had already paid for.Communication was disastrous, issues that required immediate attention were periodically noted on a door hanger, absolutely no sense of urgency from the technician or the field service team. Conflicting notes were communicated in the service emails weekly, for weeks the technician would state that the pool was perfect, only to receive another note stating the pool pump had been clogged for weeks. I discussed the obvious flaws in communication with the store staff only to receive more excuses and zero professional responsibility. In closing, this was a hard lesson learned and I have permanently suspended all future services with Pinch-A-Penny (Store #084) due to their inability to perform the service they claimed they could perform. Absolutely zero quality, accountability, or responsibility, and this store was given every opportunity to make this a lasting relationship for years to come, but they lacked the ability and ambition for that to come into fruition.

The store on Red Bug near Tuskawilla, tries to sell you more than you really need. I needed the cover of a filter case and was sold the entire unit. I only got to use the cover and still have a filter case unused in garage...The Salt system I had purchased went bad 2 or 3 yrs after in bought it.Robert, was surprised to see since I had not been back to the store in yrs. But with the price of tables doubling, I now needed Clorox! So, Robert, who sold me systemsuggested asked about it. I mentioned the panel was broken. Robert, suggested I repair my salt system...Which made sense with the price of tables being so high.Robert, told me the electric panel would cost $400. When they came a week later they not only were giving me a cost of $100 plus more, but was trying to sell me the cell too. Or "maybe it would be better to buy a new system since you don't know if the cell is working."I should buy a whole new system??? That was the sells pitch... Oh, then there was a charge of $90 something to come out??? Which had not been mentioned either!I called the store Robert, denied telling me the price of $400. He now couldn't remember our conversation though, he had pointed out not seeing me for quite awhile. When asked to speak to the owner, I was told that the he not there and we could just part ways...owner never did call me back!

We are having a pool party for my daughter's 16th birthday it's a Alice in Wonderland theme and we needed to clean out above ground pool so it's ready for her party which is coming up this Saturday. So with all that said first my wife and my daughter went to the Pinch-A-Penny Pool store to get what we needed to clean the pool which was some chlorine and the employees there were really awesome my daughter was looking @ some thermos cups they asked her which one she really liked and they gave it to her for free because it was her birthday. We brought back the chemicals and used them on the pool and for some reason something wasn't working because the pool wasn't turning the right color. My wife and I went back to the store with a water sample to se what was wrong and why the water wasn't cleaning right, so Parker tested the water told us what was wrong and recommended what we needed to get the pool ready for our daughter's birthday and he also gave us a discount on the chlorine that we bought. I really love when associates go above and beyond with their customer services, it means they are dedicated to their job and they want to give you the best service possible. I would really recommend this Pinch-A- Penny Pool store because they provide great customer service.

This location is terrific. Good knowledge from the guys working there and have helped me a lot as my pool guy a year ago had to change his route leaving me to it. There is some upsell involved but it's all legit stuff that would improve your pool rather than have you thought of a 9,000 dollar heater recently? For new pool owners or people in between pool.service, their liquid chlorine is the way to go. Great location here in WS

This place is great. They were super helpful and answered all my questions. They explained basic pool maintenance in simple terms and helped me figure out what I needed to start my pool maintenance for the season. They also provided all information needed to select an automatic vacuum robot.

They have been super helpful and all of my new pool owner questions. They came out when I had questions even when they were not originally my pool service company. Due to their friendly staff and quick response I have moved my pool services over to them. Came into the retail location multiple times and everyone was knowledgeable
