I have tried 3 times to come to the RT 17 LabCorp in Yulee for fasting labs. I made the appt for 7:30 but came at 7:00 because it said Open at 7am. I’m sitting in the parking lot and no one is here. I would think someone would be here at 7:22am opening the lab, but NOPE. So I will wait. If no one shows again I will no longer use this lab for my lab testing. Close this location if you can’t staff it, or provide a schedule like M-W-F and limit the hours here to assure someone is here to service your customers. Very angry.

Made an appointment online for 1st available, 7:30 a.m. At 7:25, I walked in, tech was busy in the back so I just used kiosk and signed in. At 7:45 the tech comes out and says she will be right with me. She asks for my secondary insurance card as Tricare is my primary. No problem, I hand her my supplemental insurance card. She let's me know that she has never seen or heard of this insurance and the system will need a debit card to keep on record. I politely decline as I have 2 insurances as indicated by my cards. She tells me that the policy is that we need to have a credit or debit card on file, so if the insurance doesn't pay, they would use that card. I explained that I was not familiar with this policy as I have never been asked to do this before. She told me she could wait for me to go and get my card and she would fit me in when I return. She asked me to read the policy sign on the wall (in a display of several signs? Near the top, out of line of sight).
I politely let her know that she may cancel my appointment as I do not feel comfortable leaving that information. I just thought I'd let future customers know of the new policy.

One female lab tech for the front and back, she did absolutely great. She was literally the only one there. Im a hard stick but she was able to get me on the other arm without trying to fish for a vein. Super sweet, not sure where all the help for her was, but she managed as there were 4-5 people waiting to be seen after me. I made an appt online for the same day. If anything make an appt online so you get in quicker.

**EDIT - Had yet another appointment today where the location was closed without notice. This is 3 of my last 8 vsits that have occurred in this manner. The location in Fernandina is much more reliable.**Appointment scheduled for 8:30 and arrived at 8. Waited until 8:45 and the lights were still off and doors locked.

Closed! They open whenever they feel like it. Wasted my lunch hour driving there. Pay your staff more money and then maybe they will show up.

I had an appointment for weeks and no one showed up despite their hours saying they’re open. When I talked to the business nearby, they told me that there is one woman working here, and often she just doesn’t show up. One lady has been making appointments every day for the past two weeks and has not been able to get her blood drawn, because there is no one here. The branch either needs to update their hours online or be closed if it’s not getting enough hours.

After fasting all night I came today on 11/3/2023 got there at 7 and they are closed. 3 people were waiting it's bad for business and a waste of my damn time. I couldn't even get my lab work done. I am not a "karen" and don't do reviews but that pissed me off. I had to drive a long ways to get out to yulee this morning.

This visit was far better than the previous one. The previous tech had difficulties finding the veins and said I was dehydrated. Didn't agree but we managed to get what was needed. This visit, I was cognizant of the dehydrated statement previously made and ensured that wasn't going to be the case this time. The fella tapped me like a keg and filled all the tubes without incident.

Awful service.Had to check in on just to ask as a question and 1 hour later and several walk-ins and the only "employee" there wasn't even aware of the check in. I walked out.Don't waste your time, this place is trash

Alicia is amazing! She's the sweetest, so friendly and kind. My draw was fast and I didn't even feel the needle. I’m going to echo a previous reviewer and say please give her a raise! The office was super clean too.I'm happy to report that this location is now open again after temporarily closing during covid. I was not thrilled at the prospect of driving all the way out to the north end of the island for an 8am blood draw.If you're heading north on Hwy 17 from A1A, it will be on your right. It's just behind an ob-gyn office. I didn't make an appointment but it's definitely a good idea.
