I had to take a trip to the ER today for some possible complications. As I walked into the ER doors, the area was clean and organized. The receptionist greeted me promptly and took my information and asked my symptoms. I sat down for about two minutes before I was brought back to get vitals checked. The nurses were fantastic. They placed me back in the waiting room after vitals. I was only there for three or four more minutes when I was taken back for an ultrasound on my leg. The ultrasound tech was patient and caring as she wheeled me back to the examination room. After she performed her services, she offered me a blanket for the waiting room in case I was cold. It took about 45 minutes to get my results, and the doctor came and sat with me individually and explained the next course of action that I should take for my care, everything went. Super smooth and I would highly recommend going to this hospital again if needed.

Took my mother there because her blood pressure shot to over 200/110. Nurse was nice this time, but since mom has severe dementia, I had to give the doctor her history. When I received a message saying that a report of her visit was available, I was dismayed to see that the ER doctor had included insulting remarks about me personally!!! And all I had done was give him her history and answered questions for her. This is not the first time we have had a bad time in the ER. On a previous occasion, the "triage" nurse was informed that my mother had severe dementia, yet instead of asking me for information, she insisted on bombarding my poor mother with inquiry after inquiry, totally confusing my mom. When I told the lady at the reception desk, the nurse came running out to confront me and aggressively argue. In the future I will likely drive my mother to the hospital in Dade City even though the one in Zephyrhills is only 1/2 mile away. And on the last visit, they screwed up my mom's billing by saying that she was an "Outpatient" to be billed under Medicare Part B when the report I received said she was "Admitted as an Inpatient" which should have been coded for Medicare Part A. Makes a big difference when B makes you pay 20% of the bill when A pays 100%. Took me TWO days on the phone to finally get someone to correct their own error!!! I have told my friends if I am ever sick to just let me die in my bed before taking me to the ER at AdventHealth in Zephyrhills!

This is by far the worse hospital I've ever experienced. I had to go to the ER and a guy at the front desk was wearing a hat like he was going to a nightclub. Security guards were hanging out at the desk like it was a social club, and the entire situation was extremely unprofessional. The guy in the hat escorted me to a small closet sized office to take my blood pressure. In that small office was a lazy nurse sitting at a desk. The nurse acted like he didn't even want to be there and I started getting really uneasy at that point even though I was in a lot of pain. Also, I overheard a nurse arguing with a coworker, so I just told them I would go someplace else... so I went to Dade city. I cannot believe the administrator of this hospital allows. this kind of conduct as well as the wearing of a hat! I'll never go to this hospital again.

I stopped going for sometime after not getting the proper service. A few weeks back I had seen my doctor and ordered some Labs. The hospital was right next to my doctor so I went to the outpatient registration. I needed a wheelchair, volunteer member (Jim)? Was very kind grabbed one for me and took me to the second floor because the outpatient was closed. I was waiting for sometime until a gentleman came in to lab and saw I was waiting. Mr Steven asked me if I needed some help and I said yes. I was just waiting to get called. The lab gentleman came back within 3 seconds wheeled me to the draw room he was able to get my blood no problem. I did not felt getting picked with needle at all!!! After he got the blood he call volunteer again but they were busy but he offered to take me back to the lobby and even took me outside to get picked up. Thank you Jim and Steven!

As two AH employees just worked the night shift was treated poorly by fellow 'Christian' coworkers. EMS followed me to ER, I let them take my sister in only to be escorted in wait room hours before I was allowed to see my sister. I had my sweater with my badge cuz I just worked the evening shift and it's always cold in the hospital. the charge nurse and fellow nurses was very rude to me and my sister no compassion whatsoever. Poor customer service skills. The only cordial one was the ARNP who took care of my sister

The app says "average wait time for ER is 19 minutes". I have been waiting over 6 hours with my severely ill, elderly parent. Very disappointed and worried. The final wait was over 12 hours to be seen in the ER for a critical illness.

My 96 year old grandmother just spent the last 5 days at this wonderful hospital. She had had several strokes. They couldn't have been more friendly, attentive, caring & thorough. She kept saying that she had never been in a nicer hospital. (And being 96, she's been in quite a few) you guys are amazing! Keep up the great work!

I just had the most horrible experience of my 62 years dealing with the medical profession. I sat in the emergency room for three hours with a case of severe hives and the Dr seen me said hang tight and 30 minutes later I went to see why I was still sitting there and this male nurse informed me that there was many other patients to tend to. I said the Dr seen me and said he was calling something in but my pharmacy is now closed. He said go get Benadryl. That truly was the worst experience of my life I was itching terribly and sat there thinking that the doctor was coming back to give me a shot to be told by a male nurse to be patient. I had to stop at CVS on the way home to get Benadryl. I also have a co-pay of 120.00 dollars. This was truly the worst experience I've ever had and I will die before I ever go back there.

was in the hospital for 28 days back in Nov-Dec with the COVID virus -a really bad case of it. The nurses and doctors at Advent health saved my life. They were extremely proffesional, attentive and caring.I cannot praise them enough. Unfortunately,I was incarcerated at ZCI at the time and if they hadn't sent me to the hospital when they did,I wouldn't be writing this. If, God forbid I ever need to go to a hospital again, it will be to Advent in Zephyrhills.

They like to leave people who are going into diabetic coma wait for hours without even offering them an type of assistance. They refuse to send your medications where you need them to go. They let people with dementia sit in the waiting room for 11 hours. TERRIBLE ER.

Awful experience!!! Racist to say the least. Prejudiced and questioned my brother before even having the diagnosis! Who gave them the audacity to ask if we reside in a healthy household and how in the world in this related to him having appendicitis??? They also told my ill brother that his foreign license weren't good for driving in the USA which is a false statement. We have lawers to make sure every step we take is legit.

FYI, we pay your salary! You work for us!!!! This worker needs to be fired ASAP. He doesn't deserve the job she was given. She takes advantage of what little power she has and makes soon-to-be American citizens feel awful and criticize them in a condescending way. I wish we took my brother elsewhere. I will be taking it to my lawers to discuss emotional distress reimbursement
