The worst Walgreens I've ever been to. I waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes without any type of acknowledgment. I went inside and stood in a line for 15 minutes

This Walgreens Pharmacy location is the worst I've ever experienced. I use this location because it's convenient however the pharmacy is the absolute worst place to use. I've never had any problems with other Walgreens locations and I had to go to a different location where they communicate, are attentive and will answer the phone when you call. This Walgreens location has the WORST pharmacy! They don't care about you and they hang up the phones after you call them and sit on hold several times after they let the phone ring , I swear 50 x... avoid this location for your prescriptions because they don't care or know how to stay on top of things.

I have to come in for a drug test for my new job. I came in at 1pm. The lady working didn't feel good so she just up and left for the day. I had to schedule an appointment for later on in the day 3:30pm. I come in at the time of my appointment and the lady working back in the labs side calls me up then tells me she has already closed for the day and I would have to come back another day. Twice this lab has wasted my time because the workers are lazy and don't want to work there scheduled hours. She knew I had a 3:30 appointment but decided she wanted to go home early just like the other worker earlier in the day. It is ridiculous and unprofessional.

Pharmacy gave me the generic instead of what i usually get and told me that the insurance refused to let me have anything else i took it and it made me very sick. i contacted the insurance and they said that was not true. Insurance call them and this store told the insurance they would get it straight on the 16th when the refill was due insurance asked them not to since it made me sick. they put the claim in any way. When i went to the store to ask them to withdraw the claim because i needed the correct medication they said under Florida Law they had to give me that generic if one was available, and that Florida Law also stated that i had to use that pharmacy until all the refills were up. I told them I doubted that Florida law dictated any of that. I will be thrown into the doughthole if they continue this way. I went across the street and CVS worked it out with the insurance. When i told Walgreens that the generic was making me sick they said that was not their problem, they had to follow Florida Law and Florida law said that i had to take the generic. When i asked why other locations were able to get me what the RX stated he said that he didn't believe me.

Some of the rudest checkout personnel in town. I don't go there much since they have the slowest pharmacy around. Too little staff. Changed to CVS across the street. And when many of those people went to the new Zephyrhills Community Pharmacy, I went there. However, I still go to CVS from time to time since they sell more than just prescriptions. But today, August 7th at 3:00 PM had to go to Walgreens for something. The item I wanted was $16.99 but with a digital coupon it was $5 off. So I used my phone to clip the coupon and got confirmation. However, when I went to check out the register did not show the discount. I showed the phone to the checkout lady and she called her supervisor who could not have cared less. She said it was my fault. She looked in her book and sure enough it had the discount listed, but she was annoyed that it did not show up and "I must have done something wrong". In most stores they would have apologized and would have overridden the cash register to give me the legitimate discount. Instead she insulted me and told me I should go to the parking lot to try to connect and clip the coupon again! Here in 95 degree weather! This is not the first time people have complained about the attitude in Walgreens. And I can tell you I will never go there again and will recommend that my friends and family switch. There are friendlier and better pharmacies in Zephyrhills, FL.

The prescription I dropped off required a prior authorization from my doctor. Aside from receiving a text message that my medication was being delayed, the pharmacy never notified me the medication needed approval. This wouldn't be a problem if they faxed over the prior auth form to my doctor. Well, they never notified my doctor either. After a week, I spoke with a pharmacy technician (I called them) who informed me that I needed to call my doctor and have them call my insurance company. It's not standard protocol to have a customer relay this information BUT I wouldn't have minded calling my doctor had I known my medication needed to be approved in the first place (why are you telling me this a week after I dropped off my prescription???). I asked if it was possible for them to fax my doctor. Lo and behold, it was. A prior authorization form would be sent to my PCP after our phone call. After talking to a Walgreens pharmacy representative today--two weeks after I dropped off my medication--I was told the pharmacy faxed the prior authorization form three days ago, a week after talking to the pharmacy technician. I'm going on two weeks without my medication. Cmon guys!!
