Awesome clinic. Dr. Fred is amazing. He treats me with respect and is very detailed in everything that he explains to me. He really cares for my dog and happy with how gentle he is with her. I'm extremely satisfied with his service and I love all the stories he tells me about dogs and other things.

Take your business elsewhere. Lower prices are not enough to justify the attitude, harshness, and sheer contempt you may get here.I showed up with an emergency when their doors opened at 9 on Saturday, they are open all day. Michelle immediately huffed and acted inconvenienced. She said it “wasn’t a good day” for this and then thw initial interrogation started. I had to justify why I brought him to THEM before they would even let me in the door. They had only seen my dog once as an 4 month old and he wasn’t up to date on yearly shots. He’s now 11 months old. Instead of focusing on helping or assessing my dog who had possibly ingested a foreign body, I was first grilled and reprimanded because I do booster shots and dewormings myself. I was able to pay and willing to put down a deposit, even though I’ve been on one income since February. I came in scared and wanting them to help my dog because i have known them since 2012 and I knew they were open. After being given the 10th degree from dr freeland (while crying) I was eventually told he couldn’t help because he doesn’t have the ability to do x rays. This is not the point…The point is that I was treated HORRIBLY and they should be ASHAMED. People come to them for help and if their compassion for animals and their owners is gone… then they shouldn’t be open.I went elsewhere; to a vet who took my dog in and was more concerned with saving him than anything else. He said we’d cover vaccinations and everything else AFTER he saved my dog. He was CONCERNED, WARM, and KIND. Even with my dog not being a current patient.I will NEVER recommend East Albany animal clinic EVER again after having sent them business for 10+ YEARS. I’m DISGUSTED that the new clients I have sent him could’ve been treated this way. So if that’s you and you’re reading this I am SO sorry that I failed you. Please take your business to Veterinary Way instead.

This place is a complete waste of your time . THEY AIM AT CHARGING YOU MORE. I brought my dog to get neutered after calling explaining the situation of desperate need. I was told to come at 10:30 AM. I call that day 4days later to confirm the time and appointment before we drive 17 miles. The Older Lady that sits at the front told me “Oh no you should be here at 9:30 or the veterinarian want do it” I apologized and immediately headed there.(Thinking to myself you told me 10:30 and why is she being rude in her tone. ) We arrive there at 9:24AM . The door was locked and a vet tech opened the door for us. My dog immediately started barking. I was asked to present shot records and I did . I was then told oh his is a bitter because he is barking I don’t know if we can do it . (Wondering why my 8 pound Chiweenie is being labeled as “A BITTER “ ) So after presenting the records. Then she told me because I use TRACTOR SUPPLY PRODUCTS we don’t deal with any of there customers. My dog doesn’t have fleas or worms and it’s vaccinated but because I buy some of there products my CHILD isn’t welcome. This establishment is a -1 Not to mention I greeted the Vet and he turned his head and walked to the back and that’s when the interrogation started with the Secretary older white woman aka KAREAN . Black people just because he is in your neighborhood doesn’t mean he is helping the community. Low cost is double cost .

You get what u pay for , prices are low due to poor customer service which is also probably why the place looks as if it is always lacking clientele. The Dr. Seems nice in person but please don’t call asking questions cause all you get is interrupted and a sassy attitude. The lady up front is nice and has Good customer service, she just seems over-worked, though I’m pretty sure if she had the time to answer my question, she would have done so in a more mannerable way, and I would’ve never had to type this review.I called Kayleigh at Bush animal hospital right after & she happily informed me in less than 4minutes so I know the problem wasn’t me.Anyways, feel free to cancel that appt made for the 28th of April, bush will handle it.

Locked the door when I walked up. Looked at me through the door a while before coming to the door and wouldn’t open it still. I was asking if they did walk in vaccines and before I could even get my question out the lady shook her head no and walked off from me.

Dr. Freeland gave my now 13 year old dog Onyx who has been suffering seizures for years the best care and kept her healthy. Unfortunately, I live in ATL now and have been to several vets and none of them come close in comparison with Dr. Freeland and sadly my dog has suffered because of it.

They're in it only for the money. I brought in a wild / feral cat that came out of the woods and delivered babies on our porch. Rather than classify the cat as feral because it wasn't acting wild, or attempting to scratch and claw eyes out, they told me they will not classify this as wild and spaying will be $145 instead of $45. What a gimmick!

Promptly waited on by assistant and Veterinarian. Doctor answered several questions and made sure I understood everything. Never a problem and very reasonable prices.
