I do not write reviews , but will make an exception for this train wreck. I did not understand all of the negative reviews for Georgia's Own as I have always used the Leesburg Branch. On May 13,2025 I went by the Leesburg Branch ,to make a payment , to find a note on the door that this location had closed on April 25th. I then went to the branch on Westover and spent 53 minutes making a payment. One teller at the counter and up to 12 plus people in line. The gentleman at the window has some lengthy banking business to take care of and no other employee ever came forward to help the waiting customers.Customers were leaving without being helped and more were walking at the same time.
I am going to have to make other arrangements as I do not have this amount of time to get someone to take a payment. Beware before yo try to bank at Georgia's Own Westover branch.
I will not even start about the drive thru . It is just as bad.

Long wait lines on weekends, also should open inside since it is so much traffic outside, not convenient for people who work through weekdays.

My husband and I went here to apply for an Auto Loan. Tasha helped us and she was absolutely amazing. She helped us get a loan in our price range and was extremely helpful and very sweet. She even answered my call on her off day. I highly recommend her to anyone applying for a loan.

A couple of weeks ago I entered this branch to open some new accounts. I proceeded to the counter in the lobby and signed in. The was a lady that was being serviced by the rep seated at the desk in the lobby. As I waited to be seen, I heard the lady's entire transaction. My two issues were I waited over 30 minutes with no greeting or estimated time of service and that I overheard details of a stranger's account information. The lady's transaction was being handled without an once of customer service or empathy. So much so another rep walked up to say there was nothing they could do about the lady's overdrated account and could cover the funds using another one of her accounts. The lady refused and offered to use the rolls of coins that she brought with her. The fact that I know details about a stranger's account is baffling to me. They couldn't have taken her to an office somewhere private to discuss her account? Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere.

That’s funny, they only respond back to the positive reviews, what does that say? None the less I CLOSED all my accounts. 9 to 4 hmm, sure is customer friendly! I had an executor’s order, signed by a judge, and I still could get information on the deceased account. I was told I wasn’t on the account therefore I couldn’t get any info. If I have executorship, the person is deceased or unable to add me, isn’t that the purpose of the judge’s order?? I wish 0 stars were there

I got scammed and called dispute center to report it and get my money back . The dispute center did nothing and I lost my money! Do not use this bank

If I could give 0 stars, I most definitely would have! My Grandmother passed away a few weeks ago and we called to inform them and that’s where our nightmare began with them! First, if you were a member with DOCO before the swap and have a secondary account holder, check on it! My aunt went to handle the account to be told her name was showing up “Data Error” and her last name so they wouldn’t discuss anything on the account with her and froze it! Secondly, she is told she will be called back once they figure it out, but never received a call and eventually went up there 11/13/23 to see what was going on to find out that they wiped my Nana’s entire account out to go towards a loan she had with them! That was absolutely dirty of them to do that without discussing anything with us and then asked us if we had intentions to pay the loan back after taking over $3500 out of her account that we had intentions of paying her bills with! We were going to discuss paying the loan back, but we won’t be giving them a cent of anything! Have some compassion instead of being so greedy and money hungry! I will be telling everyone about my experience and I wouldn’t recommend them ANYBODY! Everyone in our family will be closing our accounts with them and banking with Bridgeway Credit Union, they have compassion and are the sweetest people!

Wish they did not close at 4 o'clock. Makes it difficult to do business with them period . One day outta the week they stay open till 530 ridiculous to be honest

I've never been inside, but my grandparents have used this place for years & seen a couple name changes as the credit union changed hands. As far as I know, they've never had any problems with them, & my grandmother's visit today went smoothly.

Terrible experience. Went in to open an account stood in line 25 mins for them to tell me they don’t open accounts after a certain time. Which I was before that time waiting in line while the teller enjoyed off topic conversation with customer ahead of me.
