“Bilt in 1912 this post office is still operating today. It was also the court house till 1995. Their is still a full courtroom on the third floor as shown in the picture. Now the building is rented for office space. With marble staircases and floors its is a beautiful building. Rent a pierce of Albany history”
“The social distancing thing did t happen well, but that wasn't the post office fault. They have lines clearly marked, but people in the city have the problem of following directions.I got dino stamps. They are amazing. Cashier was nice.”
“Recently I had to go into post office on Slappey to have my very first PASSPORT made. The ladies at the desk were really awesome!!!! Then I met with this super sweet happy lady (sorry do not remember her name) she was the one that was actually accepting the PASSPORT paper work. I read the directions on their website and brought in all copies and originals. . I printed out my application online without signing it and had that copied as well. Anyways I wanted to give PROPS where they are due . One of my New Year’s resolutions this year. The passport associate was absolutely outstanding and seemed like she loved her job and people!! I’m so glad I choose this US Post office to go too. The three associates that worked there made my life so much earlier. I was so afraid I did not bring everything. But they calmed me and it was like I’ve known these three ladies all my life, even though I had just met them. Ladies keep up the wonderful work and especially the way you treat your customers!!
PS. I had to send my 18 yr old a couple days later and they really took care of her. Of course I had everything she needed ready to go.
Just wish MORE PEOPLE IN OUR WORLD WOULD TREAT EVERYONE LIKE THESE LADIES DID!!
Great job and may God Bless you all!!!”
“Very fast and friendly customer service. Locked myself out of my vehicle with my phone inside it. The kind woman working there went out of her way to get in touch with a auto locksmith to come open my door. She continued to contact several until she found the quickest responser while doing her job the entire time.”
