First of all I want to apologize to Matt the Store Manager and the 2 employees working the date of 01/29/2024 around 12:00 pm for the accidental 1 star rating (intended for the store in Milton area) because they truly DO NOT deserve that. They went above and beyond on helping and assisting. On my defense, the email for the survey stated “rate your interaction” but was not giving the address of the Ace Hardware, which was an online transaction and over the phone interaction with the store in Midtown/Milton, beyond acceptable level of any common sense or courtesy! They could learn from the Team members in Crabapple how to behave.In a nut shel, the manager and employees at the Crabapple location were OUTSTANDING

I was a couple of minutes late, the owner let me in and he was very accommodating. Great store for Stihl service and parts for chainsaws or any other Stihl tools.

Cash register lady came off as not genuine not friendly couldn’t make the correct change 3x. NOT PROFESSIONAL. Not ethical…. I would hope that ACE teach their employees to treat THEIR patrons with respect please. The other blonde haired female along w/ the cash register ladywere both acting disrespectful. Please ask them. Don’t just rely on footage.

I bought a new Weber Genesis from this Ace last week. Matt helped me, who I believe was the owner. I appreciate how he asked questions like what I’ll be using it for and if I saw the exclusive Ace model as an option. Going in I was prepared to bring it home to assemble, but Matt shared they had a promotion going on around free assembly and delivery with grills. Matt set up our delivery for next day and I couldn’t be happier. The grill fired right up and I didn’t have to take two hours putting it together. This place really feels like your neighborhood hardware store and due to my experience I’m more likely to go here vs Home Depot. Thanks for the great experience Matt.

I was greeted at the door and showed her the part I needed on my phone, which was good because I didn't know the part was kept behind the counter. She rang it up and I was out the door in under 2 minutes. What more could you want?

Frustrating experience at Crabapple Ace Hardware, dropped off my Stihl tool for service and paid the $42 diagnostic fee. I was never asked if I wanted to undergo the repair service with Ace beyond that fee, just a call from the store saying my tool was ready for pickup. Upon arriving, the team pulled my tool from the back and handed it directly to the cashier to be paid for, rather than handing it to me and asking if I had any questions. At this point, I still don't know what was wrong initially, what was fixed (without my permission), and how much was charged for the work I didn't authorize. When I asked for the detailed receipt, it was made to seem like I was holding up the line. Not questioning anyone's integrity but it seemed like I was being herded and encouraged to swipe before I had a chance to 1) make a determination of whether I wanted to have the device serviced at Ace and 2) review my invoice after the work had been done without my approval. Would not go back to Crabapple Ace for Stihl service due to customer experience, would likely try another Ace store nearby if possible.

Patrick was so helpful! I needed help with a new license plate cover and the screw holes in my old care were all different sizes. He found the perfect way to attach it and I couldn’t be happier!
