I was there for three nights. Rooms need major refreshing. Cobwebs in ceiling corners, stains on carpets and blinds, broken bathroom /toilet door, dirty refrigerator, loose towel and tp holder on walls, paint/wallpaper missing on walls, no convenient outlets in bathroom. Main room light switch controls bathroom lights so that the whole room is lit up to use the bathroom sink area. Very , very thin walls, at 11:00 p.m., 12:30 a.m. and again at 2:30 a.m. , and yes I put in ear plugs. Very dark hallways. Breakfast attendant could not understand anything that was said to him, although pleasant. Language barrier. He pointed to menu, they were out of most things, then he made it incorrectly. He did not appear to understand how to make the items or correct them. Female front desk attendants, day and night were very polite, personable, accommodating. While I would like to stay again due to its location, unfortunately the room was very sub par and I needed to be able to get a reasonable night's sleep. I did bring it up to morning desk, but no accommodations were made.Rooms: Need deep cleaning top to bottom, wall to wall, and repaired.Food & drinks: Don't bother purchasing the room with breakfast included. They were out if most things, other things made incorrectly. Not any different than hi end gas station food.

Great location! Great staff! Rooms were very comfortable and clean!Been here two nights and had the same amazing bar tender - Danielle! Great service!I travel to Atlanta often and I’ll be back here for sure!!

I have stayed twice and and it was substandard. The first time, none of the keys in the hotel worked at all. They had to have someone escort me back to my room or wherever, like to the gym, to get coffee, etc. This time there were no answers to my Chat to the hotel at all. From three hours before I arrived until infinity, nothing. No mobile key and no idea if/when they will ever have it. The phone in my room has a dial tone but I couldn't not only not ring the front desk, but even tried Emergency - nothing. This place is technologically challenged and not real great anyway.

Excellent location and service. Rooms were a little dated compared to newer aloft hotels that I've stayed. Perfect for an overnight visit in the area.

Long time Marriott member leaving this review. After booking my stay a week in advance & confirming my arrival (& time of arrival) in the app I'm told that they don't have a room for me. Of course, I had to wait to hear this news after a long day of travel. I get booted to a Hilton hotel by the person running the desk. 0/10... should be no star. I was under the impression that being a member meant that you got a guarantee....nope. Overall, a very poor experience. Do yourself a favor and just pre-book at the nearby Hilton.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at the Aloft. I traveled here for work in August. The day prior, I called the hotel to see if I could check-in early the following day so I could change prior to a business meeting. I was told that would be no problem as the hotel was expected to be very slow the next day and rooms would be available.I arrived the following day and upon arrival was told it was a $25 fee to check-in early. This was not disclosed the day prior (which I told the desk clerk) but I had no choice but to pay the fee to be able to get into my room and change for the meeting. The hotel was completely empty except for 2 cars in the parking lot and the hotel clerk sitting at a table in the lobby.I contacted Marriott the next day to let them know that the fee was not disclosed and requesting a refund. After a month and 4 calls to Marriott where I was told the hotel had issued a refund (which I never received), I finally was told they did in-fact not issue a refund and I was transferred to the manager of the hotel. I spoke to the manager and again explained the situation. I found her to be rude and dismissive. She said she would speak to the clerk that was on the night before I arrived. Not surprisingly I never heard back and at this point am just accepting I am out the $25.Outside of this issue, the hotel itself would probably be rated as 3 stars as none of the staff were friendly and the rooms did not seem overly clean.I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in a good location but poorly maintained. There was no breakfast food in the morning. They were “waiting on a delivery”. There was no water in the gym in the mornings. The gym equipment was covered in sweat. It’s not cleaned regularly. There were drink glasses and trash from the night before. The elevator was out of service. The people that worked there seemed nice but apparently they’re not directed to maintain it well.

The rooms were great the hotel itself as a whole was great, but when it came down to the service it wasn't good at all. We had to ask for towels 5 times (we even had to go out and buy own own) before they brought them to us and our room never got cleaned after we had requested twice to have it done. The lady at the front desk today Sunday 6/25 was great I wish that I had caught her name. She did supply me with towels and clothes when I had asked and she Aldo put in the request for us to have our room clean which it never was. She was great but the service needs to get better. I would definitely stay at a Aloft hotel again otherwise!

I never give bad reviews - BUT, we were there for a concert a couple of weeks ago. We had a group of people and several rooms that had all been reserved to be paid on one credit card. I was the first person there and was asked to put my card on file for "incidental only". Both my card and my friends card were charged. I called SEVERAL times and finally spoke with the manager who said he would have the charge removed - give it 3-5 business days. That was on May 26, the charge is still there and now the manager will not take my call.Also, there was leftover food and drinks in the refrigerator in our room when we checked, not something I would normally complain about, but if they aren't checking the fridge, what else could be being missed.

Wouldn’t recommend. Key didn’t work to my room when I took my dog out at night. Receptionist wasn’t at the desk and didn’t show up for 40 minutes. Makes me new keys and those didn’t work. Uses master key and that didn’t work. Says she has no idea what to do. I call the fire department and the general manager won’t let them gain access to my room. Finally he shows up 30 minutes later and unlocks my door. Doesn’t offer to change my room, just walks away. I have to suggest that maybe I should switch rooms because the door pad is defective, as he is walking away says the receptionist can help with that. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Also they have a $100 pet fee that is not listed on hotels tonight.Safety: Keypads don’t work on doors and the receptionists don’t have any real method of accessing if there is an emergency.

While the hotel was extremely nice and felt luxurious, the front desk service did not match. The front desk clerk almost always appeared aggrated or annoyed by guests making inquiries or asking for help. At times, it seemed nearly impossible to locate where the front desk clerk was. While in the lobby, I witnessed the front desk clerk gossiping to another co-worker about another co-worker. Extremely unprofessional. Below are photos of her just sitting in the lobby area, appearing to be focused on her cellular device, and not engaging with any guests that may need assistance. Again, hotel and rooms are very nice, just not with the front desk clerk.Rooms: Very nice

This is a more modern looking property by Marriot. The rooms are actually very good for the price. I loved that it was so close to the Avalon which is a very nice shopping district. The staff accommodated all of our requests in a timely manner as well. The shower could use some remodeling because when you shower the curtain sticks on your body. So possibly having the shower curtain curve outward instead of inwards would be a great solution.

A really nice place to stay. Cool decor, great service, lovely breakfast cook and her tasty creations, comfortable rooms. Only three small issues/recommendations for the rooms:1. For the love of Pete, put a shelf or something in the shower!! Sure, shampoo/cond and soap dispensers are provided, but there's nowhere to put a razor or our own personal products, and nothing to support a raised leg for shaving. Because women do that, in the shower, ya know.... (I'm guessing a man designed the bathrooms?)2. Somewhere to hang up clothes on hangars would be nice. Was there a closet and I missed it?3. Having to turn on the master light switch for the whole room before you can turn on the lights on the bathroom sink area is mucho inconvenient and irritating for anyone trying to sleep in the main room. If there is a way to circumvent this, I couldn't find it.Rooms: See comments above.Food & drinks: See comments above.

Location is great and the price is pretty consistent with the area. Now for the downsides...I've stayed here numerous times while in town and it's slowly gone down hill but I guess this was the weekend it crumbled. So for starters I booked through Expedia got to the hotel and was charged for the room a second time, when she was only supposed to be charging the 20$ incidental. I get text notifications from my account luckily so I caught it immediately. The front desk female clerk is super sweet but, had no clue how to fix it. Currently still waiting for that charge to drop off. Secondly, there was either blood or chocolate sauce or something above the bed. Then the bathroom door was damaged not sure if it's a building flaw or what but, you have to Incredible Hulk the door open and i guess someone damaged it before. Not a terrible place to stay but if you can pass on this place I'd just pass

Lame hotel. I have been another aloft hotels in this one totally misses the mark. This seems like a cheap clone of an aloft hotel. Front desk people don't really wanna be there, and they actually had the bar closed on a Saturday night because that's the bartenders day off. Make it make sense. Save yourself aggravation and stay elsewhere
