I recently had GI MAP test ordered. I contacted customer service at DSL to inquire about Medicare coverage of the test. I was told the test would be covered by Medicare. A month or so later, I received a bill for $399.00. When I called to discuss the bill, I was told by a member of the billing department that the test was not covered by insurance due to my Functional Medicine practitioner not being a Medicare provider. Had I been given proper information in my first phone call, I would have contacted my GI Doctor who is a Medicare provider and who would have ordered the test. After consultation with my providers, I called back and spoke with a billing supervisor. She would take no responsibility for me being given bad information, and offered no discount for the error they made. As a medical provider myself, this is not how to have a good reputation with clients.

I just got back my results from my Allergy (only 2 items were a concern) and Food Sensitivity tests, and although there were 43 items that were high sensitivity and 67 items that were intermediate, I have hopes that as I slowly eliminate these from my diet, my inflammation will be reduced. I do wonder if you have an answer as to why cabbage was listed as an intermediate yet white cabbage, green cabbage, and red cabbage were all low.

Testing was a false positive as proven by biopsy. The lab refused to acknowledge the false positive result and provide a refund. I have reported this lab to multiple oversight agencies. I’d recommend staying far away.

As a practitioner, I have been very pleased with my interactions with Diagnostic Solutions. When I call customer service, I actually get to talk to a person. E-mails to customer service are always answered the same day. Shipping is very quick. The tests they offer are unique and useful for individuals who are struggling to find answers to their health problems using more traditional lab tests.

The employees at this lab are all horrible. I'm paying about $500 out of pocket for testing, and I would think I'd be treated better. First, I was told I can't even get access to my own test results and have to either wait for my doctor to give them to me or wait 30 days to receive them from the lab. Um why??? That's ridiculous. I'm paying you, they're my results. Wow. Then today, I received an email with an itemized receipt for the wrong person. The email wasn't even addressed to me either. I was able to see this person's info on the receipt, all the testing they had done, as well as the name of their doctor. This is a huge HIPAA violation. I called them and asked to speak to a supervisor. Told her what happened and she gave me the nastiest attitude. Didn't even apologize for what happened. Basically said "mistakes happen". Ok so now I have to worry about mistakes happening with my test results too. I can see from the other reviews that other people had that happen to them. This lab is disgusting and I'm going to be complaining to my doctor about this. All these employees need to be fired.

They make it difficult and are reluctant to want to provide the patient with a copy of their own lab results. Their procedures for records requests are cumbersome, heavily pushed as the responsibility of the ordering physician, they won't accept electronic signatures on the paperwork, and they extend the time of the release to the full legal limit of 30 days. They should not consider the release of FIRST time results as "records copies" because this will impact the patients care plan. "Records Copies" and the 30 day legal max should be reserved for customers requesting copies of old records and multiples of already provided records. They tow the line on HIPPA violations and should reconsider their lab results procedures to accomodate the customers care needs.

Lied to me about a test best covered by my insurance. Didn’t call me to go over it, just changed the order. Not cool. Would like my money back for your blatant mistake. I called many times to confirm my insurance would be used and it was not. Treating a chronic illness is expensive and stressful enough.

This lab is horrible!!!! The test cost almost $500 and they cannot make a deadline to process the lab. It has been pushed out continuously and their answer is that they have had an influx of additional labs. How can an influx of labs in the last week change my processing date when they came in after mine?

I'm so glad this place exists. I give them a perfect 10/10. There results are very thorough and precise, but there customer service is also top notch. They always had a live person answer and could address a question I had about my order status. The tests that this lab does is so unbelievable important for your health that I can't physicians everywhere aren't getting on board with this. You can find out so much about your body through various tests. Will definitely use them again after I've updated my health. Thank you for all you do!

I’ve been using this company for 3 years now on all my patients. I’ve had nothing but excellent results from these findings. They even provide a learners guide to teach you about the findings. Every now and again something goes wrong with the order/shipping process but is always rectified immediately.

Really disappointed that the lab made a mistake with my test leaving out a marker that my provider had paid extra for on the G.I. map. and then refused to send another G.I. map to correct their mistake. The test is $500 Canadian… they reimbursed my provider for the extra expense of the marker that was not included but as the patient I get screwed over by not having the marker tested.

The GI-MAP test took three months to get results back, cost over $400 after insurance, and ended up being WRONG. Terrible experience, do not recommend
