This is a response to a previous review where I’m unable to directly address the owner’s claims. As customers, “we expect accurate, honest, and fair information from business owners”, and that responsibility goes both ways. This review, however, includes information that never occurred or was shared with us. We were unaware that an investigation was even taking place, and despite your promise, you never provided the CCTV footage.
In our phone conversation, you acknowledged that your staff’s behavior was inappropriate, apologizing for every concern I raised—this is recorded. Initially, I was informed that Raina was being aggressive toward just one individual, but when we asked for specifics, we received conflicting responses from the staff and management. You later clarified it was the bather who attempted to “distract” Raina by waving a towel. This approach is far from professional. If a towel or cloth is waved at a dog, the dog may see it as a toy and try to grab it, and in this case, your employee’s hand happened to be in the way, so Raina unintentionally grabbed both the hand and towel.
When we arrived to pick up Raina, she was terrified and crying out, yet your staff continued to talk rather than immediately release her to us. To make matters worse, Raina’s legs were soaked, and she was foamy, she had been locked in a wet room. We were initially told this reaction was limited to one person—not three. This discrepancy in your account raises doubts about the truthfulness of your response.
This is Uma’s son. I was there alongside my mother, and Raina displayed no aggressive behavior toward us. Where were you?
You never fully explained the situation, nor did you mention that Raina allegedly “jumped and bit someone’s face.” We were not informed of any aggressive behavior beforehand; had we known, we would have reconsidered bringing her to your facility. The only feedback we received was that “she’s being a husky” and “she’s energetic,” which is far from a warning about aggression. Either you withheld this information or are now being dishonest. You agreed to coach your staff to prevent this from happening again. Now, it seems you've completely backtracked on that commitment to make things appear favorable on your end.
In a separate incident, one of your team members mentioned the law and said you would “have the law take care of Raina.” I hope we both understand the implication of that statement. This is not de-escalation; it was threatening. Mentioning that you would notify the authorities certainly felt like a veiled threat to us.
As for your “careful methods,” it’s clear from the use of a towel, similar to a toy, that Raina was baited to grab it, which was reckless. This also marks the second instance of feeling threatened, as you implied we should take down the review—just as you did during our phone call. I compared the recorded call and you response and noting is adding up. All we hear are lies in an attempt to save your business
Suggesting we find another grooming salon and stating that you’d “notify them” about Raina is uncalled for and is also another threat.
Our intention is not to harm your business, but to inform others as a precaution. Additionally, this investigation has been entirely one-sided; none of the details were shared with us, nor did the owners or managers reach out directly. Instead, we had to learn about these issues through your response in a review.
Recording from September 28 is available. We can provide it as requested.
Threatening is illegal in this country. We have been facing continuous threatening since this incident happened. I have all evidence to prove we got threatened by the owner and his lady manager at Alpharetta Spa.

I was initially nervous about taking my dog for her first grooming session, but it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. The entire process—from booking the appointment to picking her up—was incredibly smooth and easy. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference. My dog is usually quite fearful, but she was genuinely happy and seemed to enjoy the experience. Highly recommend!

Thank you Dog Wash Cafe, for receiving us today. We are in from out of town and I dug around a little reading reviews, and they are true to the reviews. Staff very pleasant. Our groomer was detailed to our needs and desired look. Bruce came back looking like the Mcjagger of poodles. Over all great experience!
Thank you for doing a great job for us!

We love Dog Wash Cafe and Alyssa! She has been grooming our two pups and we are always so happy with their cuts! I love that we can book their appointments online and that the service / turn around is pretty quick. Henry and Jack never seem stressed or frazzled after their appointments - just happy!

Absolutely love coming here! The staff is so pleasant, and I feel like they are family at this point. Luca always takes great care of Allie and she took great care of Bella too. When we lost Bella, Erin was so kind and felt our pain with us. That meant the world knowing how much she was loved by another. I know my 4 legged baby is in great hands and always well taken care of while she is there. I feel like they all go above and beyond to make her feel safe. We will always recommend dog wash cafe and their staff to anyone with fur babies

I would not recommend this place to any of my friend because my pet dog husky was not handled properly today when we took her for a bath. We have been taking my dog to this place past 1 year and had no issues but recently there was change in staffs in this salon. We saw only new people and the place was very dirty.
When my dog walked into this spa she was happy but in 30 minutes we were ask to come and pick my dog as she was behaving aggressive. By the time we were at the salon my dog was scared and screaming to come towards us because the groomers had scared her by locking her inside a room throwing a rug towards her to divert her and few other thing they have done stupidly. She was locked in a room where water bottles are kept which scared her more and more while other dogs are outside. Some of their foolish behavior triggered her more and more and she got scard and aggressive. As soon as we came home we asked the front desk staff about what happened .she gave different stories each time and started to threaten was by saying for my dog"s behavior they need to make a report and dog will be taken away and put to sleep forever which scared us a lot.
My dog does not voluntarily go bite anyone unless and until someone triggers her. Someone at this place made her upset. In the evening salon manager called me after seeing my review. Until then no one informed about this incident to her. When she called she asked about what happened. We said everything but she tried lieing to us that she already reported our dogs behavior which was not true. After hearing the entire story she apologized and asked us to remove the review so if their customer look into this they would not come.
Her problem is hers but my problem is mine. Due to salon peoples behavior if tomorrow something serious happens to my dog mentally will dog was cafe Alpharetta take responsiboties?
After discussi g everything her focus was to remove the review if not they are going ti file a case. I said which is fine with me and ha e request CCtv footage of what happened near the bath room with the groomer.
it is very clear that their part was wrong and multiple miscommunication happened. If they prefer to file a case I'm ready to face and have all evidences to provide.
I thought of solving this after seeing the footage but the way store manager defended is forcing me to leave this review as is because this can be an eye opener for many people.
This place is worst. Some may have same feel but you need to speak up. Even the bath service is very poor for $100 dog blow dry and bath

I love the staff here! Mia does a fantastic job with my pups. My little one, Darcy, was getting her first ever groom this time, and gets a little scared in new environments, but it was alllllll tail wags when I picked them up! They came home and immediately got the zoomies and started playing--it was obvious that they were feeling (and looking) good! ?
