We only needed to send an envelope with a letter internationally, and our experience was terrible. The employee Michael was rude, sarcastic, and showed zero willingness to help clarify terms and procedures that he clearly handles on a daily basis. His attitude made the entire process uncomfortable and frustrating. Very poor customer service.

You guys seriously need to fire Michael because apparently this is a consistent issue. Like other people have commented here, I had the absolute worst customer experience I have ever experienced at any FedEx. I have never been so appallingly belittled or have been on the receiving end of such passive aggressive behavior by an employee before. Completely unacceptable. I will not be returning here.

I recently had a highly stressful and disappointing experience at the FedEx location at 5457 Pkwy W, and I feel compelled to share my story so others know what to expect.
I had a valuable package arriving from Europe, worth almost $8,000. For security reasons, I requested it be held at this location for pickup. According to the tracking information, my package was available for pickup on June 23. Wanting to confirm, I called the store on June 25 and spoke with the manager (a lady), who assured me the package was ready and I could come by.
When I arrived later that day, I presented my ID to a staff member named Michael. After some searching, Michael told me he couldn’t find the package and asked the manager for help. They both looked everywhere but couldn’t locate it. Naturally, I was anxious—this was a high-value item, and I had done everything by the book.
Instead of showing empathy, Michael was immediately passive-aggressive and dismissive. When I expressed my concern, he responded rudely and seemed annoyed that I was even asking questions. I asked if I could help look for the package, but he refused in a curt manner. Throughout the ordeal, he showed zero understanding or care for my stress, which made the situation much worse.
Meanwhile, the manager tried to help by checking security cameras. I waited anxiously for over 30 minutes. I told Michael that if my package couldn’t be found, I would have to file a police report—given the value, this is standard procedure. He mumbled something and left, and then told the manager what I’d said. She threatened to kick me out if I continued to “treat her worker” that way, even though I was simply stating my intentions.
The entire time, I felt like I was being treated as the problem, rather than a customer with a legitimate concern. I contacted FedEx customer service, who confirmed the package had actually been transferred to another store—without my request or notification, and apparently without informing the original location either.
When I tried to let the manager know what I’d learned so she could stop searching, Michael continued to ignore me, even when I politely addressed him as “sir.” He seemed to take my frustration personally and made it clear he wanted nothing to do with me, which was shocking and unprofessional.
Eventually, the manager came out, and I shared the new information. I genuinely thanked her for her time and apologized if I’d come across as harsh—she was understanding and we left on good terms. However, Michael’s attitude remained cold and hostile, even when I returned later to finally pick up my package.
To sum up:
• The manager, despite being stressed, ultimately tried to help and was reasonable in the end.
• Michael, on the other hand, was dismissive, rude, and completely lacking in customer service skills. He seemed to take my stress as a personal affront and refused to engage professionally, even after I apologized and clarified my intentions.
As someone who works in a customer-facing role myself, I know how important it is to remain courteous and empathetic, even in difficult situations. Michael’s behavior was unacceptable, and I sincerely hope FedEx addresses this. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when dealing with valuable packages and stressful situations.
I hope my experience helps others know what to expect and encourages this location to improve its customer service—especially in handling high-value or sensitive shipments.

Was in a pinch with time in getting something printed and asked Micheal “if I were to place this order right now could it get printed before y’all close?” Micheal proceeded to laugh in my face and once he was done laughing he told me “no”. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. Will not be returning.

I just had to mail a package and, unfortunately, had a very unpleasant experience with the customer service. I regularly use this location and have never encountered anything like this before. The employee who assisted me, Michael, was extremely rude, sarcastic, and condescending every time I asked a question. I also noticed he was treating other customers in line the same way. It’s disappointing to see how customer service has declined in so many places—it clearly wasn’t a priority today.

Needed help with the computers so walked past one employee to stand in line. Another employee passed me. I swear he intentionally didn't make eye contact. Mind you there was only 1 other customer in the store. After waiting a few more minutes I am leaving. 1 star for not greeting me as a customer nor acknowledgment that I needed help and you had employees available.

The FedEx staff here are always incredibly helpful! The on-site cart is a huge bonus for customers like me who frequently have large packages.
