No one answers the phone when you tell everyone they will be jobless soon. Go figure

Agree with most of the reviews about staff not being the most friendly and the manager absolutely overwhelmed. I was utterly ignored by an employee, an older lady, while trying to ask a question. The low stock weeks ago reminded me of Fryes before they went out of business, now I have seen that this location is also in the list to be closed after the parent company restructuring.

The manager is nice and friendly but extremely overwhelmed. Literally had no sewing notions in stock. I’ve never seen such an empty store so disappointing. They actually are out of stock of a ton of stuff yet many boxes lying around. Get it together Joann!!!!

Very unfriendly workers. Very few items had prices on them and when you asked they acted like you were asking for blood. When something was marked $6 in print on the packaging and was in a sale bin..I mistakenly thought it would be on sale...well nope.

i placed a pick up order earlier today and it took a long time for them to receive it. Then they canceled my order and told me it was out of stock, but before it didn’t say that. After one hour of waiting for my order to be ready for pick up, the employees were really rude when I called and told me it would be until tomorrow morning. Their website said that the in-store pick up would be the same day.

Curbside staff need a refresher course on being kind & customer friendly. Drove an hour to pick up a blanket that was out of stock online and all around me…I get to the store and someone was parked in the only curbside space (who knows how long they were going to be) so I went in to get my order and saw a man carrying what I thought was my order (it was). When I approached him he was apprehensive towards me then the man seemed less than pleased…seemed irritated I wasn’t in the proper car space and he had to walk (literally five feet from the store) and couldn’t find me. Sorry buddy that I couldn’t predict a customer using the space improperly. Will not come back to this store. RUDE!

the employees don’t know what they’re doing and they’re incredibly rude. i thought that this would be a better store with how big it is but it seems that their training department is entirely lacking. i didn’t think id have an employee arguing with me why i needed a specific interface. goodness.

Store was listed as having aprons and they had zero, even stated they were in stock.

This location is highly unorganized, with huge boxes of merchandise lying on the floor, which is likely why they're under stocked. How do you know what you need if everything is in boxes? People can't buy what they dont see, and you won't know you need more bc people are buying. I never find the yarn I'm looking for, and they have extensive loads of rubbish yarns spread out on cap ends in unrelated areas. Extremely poor selection of books, the yarn categories aren't accurate with weights crossing over into the wrong sections, inccorrect labeling (not 1 or two random skeins but several in the wrong bins It's a huge waste of my time and frustrating. Shopping at JoAnns wasn't like this years before Hacocks closed. I saw 2 (very nice) people in this entire store (not including cutters in fabrics) and circled around the yarn section going through inventory for at least an hour before my toddler had enough. It was the most frustrating experience, and it keeps happening when i occassion here, if I dont want to wait for delivery. Another oddity is you have to take an elevator to the toilet. A bit creepy.
Step up your game, JoAnn. People spend more if the ambiance and service are on point and 2 or 3 people can't handle a store this size. Great deals are helpful, though most times I will spend a bit more to save time and stress. Hire good talent. Had someone offered to help and give suggestions, like "Do you have the hook you need with that yarn", or asked what I was making? I might have spent another $50. I'm sertain I'm not alone but people dont have time to sit here and type. This is my 3rd bad experience since Covid and I usually just order from the merchants directly or Amazon, Ebay, etc. Now I'm waiting till 10am for "One More Row" to open because I don't want to wait till tonight for Amazon shipping. I wouldn't be surprised if I spend another $50 easily there.
1st star for ok service
2nd star for the coupon
3rd for having access to a toilet is extremely helpful when shopping with little people, though in a bizarre location.

I absolutely adore Joann and actually used to work there. However, not all stores are made the same. This store has a huge selection, far greater than any other Joann I’ve ever been to. For the selection, I may come here again. However, the staff is very slow, unknowledgeable, and almost off putting. It’s a shame because I love this company and go to Joann all the time. My regular store is in Cumming, GA which I very highly recommend. They do a fabulous job over there. Maybe the employees just don’t get paid enough so they aren’t as motivated to show up as professional. I would compare the customer service here to McDonalds sadly. I spoke to 3 different people and all gave the same experience. There were triple the amount of workers in this location than at the Cumming location yet three times slower. I would love for this location to have the life it deserves.

I went to pick a craft work center I purchased online and store pick up was the only option. I’m not sure when arts & crafts became so stressful and rude however the store manager Dan is the absolute worst. If you’re having a bad day , stay home there’s no need to scowl , toss customers paid supplies around along with slamming my car door! Also if you’re not happy with your place of employment go elsewhere instead trying to pass off your negative energy and attitude to customers. I returned the item at another store because I refuse to spend my money where the customer service is horrible. If you have a bad attitude and need a non friendly store manager named Dan to express your frustration, come to this location.

Don’t trust anything on the website. The website will tell you they have xx number of items and when you get there, it doesn’t exist.

Friendly staff but the store lighting is atrocious. Not only do they use dull fluorescent bulbs but it several areas, the bulbs were missing.
