It has been a great experience every time I have come. She doesn’t just consult me but she also listens to understand my needs as well. The environment is very inviting and Prices are fair. I got a pixie cut ✂️ today. And I absolutely love it! This was my first time ever wearing my hair short and LaVonda did not disappoint! I love it!! Great transformation!

LaVonda is an Amazing Stylist! I have been with her for 5 years. My hair was SEVERELY damaged by another stylist and LaVonda has been working very diligently to repair it. She cares about the health of my hair and ensures that she uses quality products & techniques that work for my hair. I never thought anyone could restore my hair to its previous healthy state but she has gotten it back on track! She has a very diverse clientele with varying hair requests & she consults with them by answering their questions & makes recommendations that will work for their type of hair. Also, her salon provides the perfect wind down atmosphere full of insightful conversations, laughter, & friendship that I love after having a very busy work week. Thanks So Much LaVonda!!

First meeting Vonda, she was very pleasant, professional and listened to my concerns. I would have not booked her if she was not those things and yet could cut/style hair well. That’s important to me. She knows hair! A lot of people claim to know hair and in my case naturally curly hair but they don’t!I was seeking to get my naturally curly hair cut wet and not in its dry state.My grandma told me if a stylist hair isn’t fixed...maybe considered going elsewhere. LolVonda was well put together/professional from head to toe. She answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly and I felt comfortable and confident that she could trim my naturally curly hair in it’s wet state. She did a fantastic job! I had been searching for over a year for a stylist to cut my hair while wet. I wasn’t comfortable with any of them. They came in all colors too. All of them insisted on dry cutting my hair or blow drying it first. I’ve had a deva cut by a master trained (popular )stylist and it left my hair with an uneven appearance after I washed and stylist it. It’s not for me. I have a lot of 3c/4a that stretches very well. It’s long and thick but very manageable. I prefer to wear my hair curly. When any stylist tries to comb or brush my curls while my hair in its dry state, that is my signal to leave immediately. I only included my hair type for ladies reading the review who have hair type similar to mine who may be searching for a stylist. She can handle it.She handled my hair with care. She took her time but she was efficient in how long the trim process took. the trim was perfect. I am very particular about everything and I was so happy when I left. I found my new stylist! I have been on a search for a new stylist for my type of ethnic hair. I found her!!!! I was planning on visiting LaVonda twice before making up my mind. Most stylist cannot handle my hair because it is soft, thin and curly! I usually give them one more chance. LaVonda slayed it on the first visit. No second visit needed to see if she could handle my hair. She can and will FOREVER. Her location is easy to get too. She is also quite efficient in time management. I will be going to her more frequently than my last stylist. My other one was far away but LaVonda is quite convenient. Hello to healthier hair from now on!Services: Haircut
